All of our delicious meals are made to order.
Chef Moscardelli, a graduate of the prestigious Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute, designs his menus to cater to the distinguished palate. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekends. A full catering menu is also available upon request. All major credit cards are accepted. BYOB.

I had been to Pistachio Grill several times for lunch with colleagues but this was our first time on a Saturday night. As always, the food was excellent. The service was attentive and the ambience comfortable and quiet--very conducive for the friendly conversation we craved. A neighborhood gem!
I was very unhappy with my experience. My husband and I went out for a date night. Our sever never read us the specials. They were out of filet and swordfish and the soup of the day. My husband ordered the lamb chops they came out raw. They took it back, but left the veggies and potatoes to get cold. They never apologized. Our waiter never came back over to us. When asked about the specials the hostess was rude. My eggplant was burnt to a crisp. The one blonde waitress in her forties , literally kept giving me the stink eye!! The one of the worse experience I ever had at a restaurant. This is my first review ever, hopefully they read it and realize not to treat people so rudely!
3rd or 4th time we've eaten here. Food has always been good but the service this time was extremely slow and not responsive to requests. Arrived at 6:30 and informed the server that we needed to be out of there by 8:00 for a movie. She delayed taking our orders for a good 10 - 15 minutes and the food didn't arrive at our table until 7:30 or so. By the time we'd eaten we had no time for dessert so they restaurant lost out on some additional revenue. Given all the other restaurants around I don't think we'll be back. We've had better food and much better service elsewhere for the same or little more cost.
The food was good but the order came out totally not how we ordered it! I have been here many times and it's been excellent. Tonight has me not coming back for a while. It was if our order was deliberately ignored. Also our server must have been new as every question we asked her she had to find someone else for the answer.
A nice place with high prices that suggest high end dining. Alas, the service was pleasant through rather amateurish and the food, though tasty enough, didn't match up the the Center City top-notch restaurant prices. My mushroom arancini apptizer were almost devoid of mushrooms and had little mushroom taste, while my wife's 1/2 spinach salad was pleasant enough but rather ordinary. Her gnocchi in Bolognese sauce tasted like frozen gnocchi (heavy and doughy) and the sauce was unexciting. Some porcini would have helped or a splash of wine or something. My short-rib over risotto was tasty enough---but for $30., the very sweet and un-complex glaze was surprising, as were several large globs of fat. The baby spinach in the risotto, though easy for the kitchen to add, ended up stringy (as baby spinach often does when cooked) which made it hard to pick up easy bites and left a lot of "stuff" in my teeth. Our shared key lime tart at dessert was EXCELLENT and very enjoyable. However, the dessert sampler plate brought in place of a dessert menu looked like tired samples from a few nights before that had been sitting out far too long. Second meal at Pistachio, but I think our last.
We were 5 people squeezed into a table for 4 - 3 on one side, 2 on the other. Waitress didn't want us to move one to an end, but waiter was ok with it. We requested that 2 tables be moved together but both waitstaffers said those tables would be needed. However, we noticed throughout the evening that the tables were not going to be booked and they could have accommodated us at 2 tables pushed together. HOWEVER, the food was EXCELLENT and well-prepared. We will probably go again in spite of the staff.
We always like the environment here. The service was nice and staff was friendly. Out of 7 things ordered 5 were good. The special watermelon salad had too many flavors and the chicken dish's chicken was rubbery. But the eqqplant dinner was delicious. The gazpacho and tomato mozzarella salad were both great too.
I've always wanted to try this restaurant and I am glad I did. The menu offered many appealing dishes and my husband's gluten-free diet was readily accommodated. That and the fact that it's BYO, make Pistachio Grille a definite place to go back to. Only drawback was our seating. We sat at one of the four-top tables along the wall and there was "very little" room between backs of chairs to adjacent tables. Next time I m going to ask for a table in the middle of the dining room.
This place was just okay. They would not take our Groupon because it was Valentine's Day. And one of the entrees was not just wildly over priced but also undercooked and almost too rich to eat. They also totaled our bill wrong so that it was almost doubled, till we pointed it out and they corrected it. Waiter was nice, though. It's worth another try probably (at least to use our coupon).
7 pm on a Saturday night with a Groupon. Wecalways use a groupon. Otherwise, the menu is too steep in peice. They were extremely busy. It was very loud with all the patrons talking. The waitress could not handle herctables properly. This was almost embarassing since we brought our friends here. The food was amazing as usual. Read on if you want details. The bus boy filled our water glasses 3/4 full. The wine glasses were filthy. We told the waitress, yet she forgot to replace them. We snagged the busboy, who took them and did not bring new ones. A third woman brought us newly cleaned glasses after we were almost done our salads. She filles our water glasses to the top. When our food arrived, only 3 of the 4 of us gotvour dinner. No explanation for the 4th. When we called the helper for an explanation, I did not complain that my rack of lamb was not sliced into lambchops as requested and had not been given a steak knife. After the first 3 of us had almost finished, the waitress noticed we did not yet have our sides. When the table was cleared, the waitress thoughtvwe had not yet received our dinner and did not offer us the dessert menu nor the check. She did return after a bit and properly told us about dessert.
