   Piqueos will always be my #1! Best food, best staff, best time I ever have eating out in the city. There are so many choices to choose from and all of them are amazing so you absolutely cannot go wrong. This place feels like family to me.

   Food quality for the price was just not there, and it was clear that they had some inexperienced wait staff. The lomo saltado - specifically - was a big disappointment.

   This place was great; lots of little spots in the neighborhood that made for a pleasant stroll afterward. We walked to a hilltop park nearby and chatted over a cup of tea from a local coffee shop.

   We come here about 4-5 times a year because the food is consistently good. We started with a mushroom empanada, which was hot with a buttery flakey crust. We had the tuna and the salmon as our mains, and they were moist and flavorful, especially with the roasted onion and slivers of red onion. The sauces were all delicious and complimented the foods. It's still a favorite place to go!

   Worst Peruvian food I’ve ever eaten. Ceviche was… sweet? Octopus was fishy and seemed more steamed than grilled. In general, everything was too greasy. The service and neighbourhood location are sweet but food needs a total revamp (except the home made passion fruit juice).

   It's a small restaurant with small, but tasty,but also too expensive for their size plates. our waiter and the other wait staff were kind and attentive. We ordered empanada small plate and Tuna entree. the amount of food for these two plates was about 1/2 to 1/3 of what I would have expected for the price. our meal was over 50.00 including tax and tip (no drinks), and it left 2 people feeling about as full as we would have sharing 1 appetizer at most other restaurants. the food itself was well made, with good flavors, so overall good quality, but not good enough to justify the cost.

    Fantastic food! We shared several plates ceviche, lomo saltado, aji de gallina) and had a pitcher of sangria. The service attention was just right - there is an art to being there when your customers need you and they have it down.

    This is a tue neighborhood gem. We had a warm welcome from Florence. She was helpful with the menu and was able to get my dining partner sample taste of the two non alcoholic house made beverages. The food is outstanding and interesting. The outdoor parklet is charming and comfortable. Inside had open window and nice spaces between the tables. We we will return.

    Our group of 6 shared several small plates (4) and entrees (3) and we tried each of the 3 desserts. Everything was outstanding in the presentation and the flavor. Not a single miss in the entire meal. The service was quite nice, not intrusive. With tax and 20% gratuity it came out to $46 each, not including drinks. Drinks were a bit pricy ($14 each) for a cocktail or wine.

    We had a delicious meal at Piqueo's and the service was ON POINT -- everyone was warm, friendly, and helpful! Highlights were the pescado ceviche, arroz con mariscos (like a paella), and a delightful glass of rose cava. We sat outside, totally comfortable next to the heater. Thank you for a lovely night!

    My partner & I ordered cebiche pescado with plaintain chips, camarones crocantes, aji de gallina & atun criollo. It was all very delicious. Our waiter suggested a very nice red wine. We will definitely return to try other dishes.

    Wonderful food, friendly and attentive service, and great parklet for outdoor dining. Three diners enjoyed a selection of the Para Comenzar, of particular note is the Ceviche Chino and the Camarones Crocantes. One pitcher of sangria kept us happy.

    The food is great, the service leaves much to be desired: do not force patrons to decide on a desert WHILE they are still eating dinner "because the kitchen closes at 9". That should not mean people have to rush and leave when they are spending hundreds of $ and are still ordering. DO NOT start noisily folding chairs while people are are still eating dinner. Get the orders right. This aspect of our experience was not enjoyable.

    We had a great time - delicious food and attentive knowledgeable staff. We haven’t had anything there that we didn’t really enjoy for food. The pisco sour was excellent as usual. Tried new desserts- all nicely balanced and capped a fine meal.

    The food was delicious. The octopus tapas was my fav dish. Service was amazing and very accommodating for a stroller. Definitely will go back again for an early brunch to avoid the crowds.

    Tasty tapas. I was surprised at how some of the dishes were on the sweeter end (like the ceviche). The dishes were on the pricier end so be prepared when coming with a group.

    Imaginative and delightful use of quinoa to crust delicious prawns and roasted to use as a sprinkled topping. Luscious sweet potato puree. Wide open windows made it wonderfully breezy inside. Very attentive staff.

    Delicious food and friendly service! The feed was an interesting mix of spices and things I had not tried, like yucca fries, and was beautifully presented. The flavors were delicious. We ate outside on the terrace which was lovely and airy. The waitress was very nice. Overall a great experience!
