Piola was amazing! From the quaintness of the restaurant, to the cocktails, appetizers and entrees, a hidden gem that will be a staple for us every time we visit TCU. The owner Bobby visited with us and shared the history of his culinary journey.

Food and service was great. We were two couples and they did not have any of the cocktails we liked nor the after dinner drink. Because we were two separate couples we wanted separate bills-they would not provide that service. I was hoping we found a great restaurant to go to regularly but that is not going to happen. I would recommend this restaurant with reservations and explain why.

We ordered the smoked chicken Alfredo. The sauce was very watery, almost like milk. Chicken was plain boiled chicken pieces with no seasoning. We sent it back and had the bolognese. It was okay, nothing memorable. The wait staff did not seem too concerned by our experience.

Great food, very nice atmosphere, and excellent service. Best Veal Piccata I've had any where near Fort Worth. Same with the calamari. Lobster Ravioli is also fabulous. Highly recommend.

It had been several years since our last visit. That was a mistake. Excellent food that is reasonably priced. Attentive waitstaff without being intrusive. We were greeted, welcomed and seated by the owner as soon as we arrived. The attentiveness to little details was evident. It was an anniversary dinner for us and the evening was perfect. Piola is to become a regular dining spot for us.

I took my wife to Piola for her birthday. We had the giant calamari, which was very unique and really good. Great choice for an appetizer. My wife followed that up with lobster bisque and keeping with her lobster theme, lobster ravioli. All were great choices! I opted for the bone in veal rack. It basically was a veal tomahawk looking dish with bacon mashed potatoes and asparagus. Beautiful dish however the veal was moderately overcooked from a medium to a well done. I was disappointed with it, although the flavors were good, I just like pink in the middle. I have to say that I didn't bring it up, being my wife's birthday. I know the restaurant would have made it right, I just didn't want to take the focus off my bride. This is the only ding on the restaurant was that veal. Other than that, the restaurant went out of their way to make my wife feel special with a birthday cannoli. We will be back, that's for sure, and you should try this place. Just don't order the veal, lol.

Love this quaint cozy place. Actually a cottage home converted to a restaurant, in a neighborhood. Love the atmosphere. Our favorite waiter is Teresa. Have been lucky enough to get her on almost every visit - which is rare because we live in Dallas and come here on random occasions.

The food was very good- enjoyed the appetizer, main entree, and dessert. Our waitress made good recommendations and the service was very good. My only suggestion is storing and serving your red wines at a proper temperature. We had an excellent Chianti but it was too warm. Other than that, a great meal.
