Experience the richness and diversity of our menu while relaxing in an elegant space that takes you back in time. Located in the Cultural District of Fort Worth, Piola restaurant is a short walk from the museums and a short drive from downtown.
It was a special occasion & was great. Food outstanding. Will definitely return.
I think we hit an off night. Our meals were very good, but not quite excellent. Still a great place, and we will be back.
Everyone there is so nice!
We went to a concert at the Dickies Arena & this was convenient in terms of location. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome service & delicious food! The pesto pasta & chicken parmigiana were amazing!
A date with my daughter before the Nutcracker.
This was our second time to dine at Piola’s. By far, our new favorite restaurant.
I had been to this restaurant about 10 years ago when my husband and I lived in Fort Worth and first started dating. We were in town to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and it is located close to where he lives. I am not a “food snob” by any means, but the quality was just not up to the standard that I remembered (or maybe we were just too young to notice that it wasn’t very good). I am only disappointed because we had a $250+ meal that didn’t feel worth the price.
I took my wife (of Italian descent) there for our 26th wedding anniversary. Neither of us had ever been there before. She is the type of person that will not go to that big chain Italian restaurant (Olive _ _ _ _ _ _) because “it’s just overpriced peasant food”. I was a little nervous taking her to an unknown (to us) Italian restaurant, however, we were both very pleased with the menu choices, the preparation of the dishes, and the friendly service. We will absolutely return. I kind of don’t want to tell anyone about this place so it can be our special little secret place to go.
Thank you for making our 26th a special night.
My spouse and I ate at Piola Restaurant and had a lovely time. The most important reason for that rewarding experience was the young woman who took such good care of us for the evening. Arte was amiable, well-informed, and helpful. A perfect evening.
Food and service were amazing!
Great seafood linguine, great tiramisu, great service.
We dine here often. Always great food and service. Their risottos and fish dishes are especially good.
Excellent food and ambiance for a business meeting.
Excellent meal. Great ambiance. Service was ok, not great. My bolognese was not hot, or even luke warm. Didn’t see server again until we were almost finished - that is how good bolognese was - I ate it anyway. They were not busy so not sure where server was.
We loved our experience. Great food, relaxing attractive atmosphere. We will be back for sure!
This is a unique and lovely spot for a quiet dinner. The service was impeccable.
Ate on the patio. Great setting. Service and food were superb.
Good service and the Veal scalopina was excellent. Fresh salad and a good Cabernet wine selection. We used the outdoor garden patio.
As always, great food and service. Our favorite place!
Great meal firs large group. Everything came out hit & delicious at the same time. Excellent service. Highly recommend for business or casual lunch.
Enjoyed a lovely lunch dining al fresco! Food was delicious & service was friendly & attentive.
Cool place with great outdoor dining, good ambiance and service--all leading to the expectation of great food--which it wasn't. After a long wait, much heralded lasagna was barely warm and certainly nothing special. Shrimp Scampi was very salty and overpowered with garlic. Lobster bisque was quite good. Not worth a return trip.
Piola is a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful garden seating area. There are heaters and a large fireplace that made it very cozy on a Fall evening. Donna and Bobby are fantastic hosts and see to it that everything is absolutely perfect. Our server was attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious; we had lasagna, chicken picatta, and chicken marsala in our party and everyone raved about the taste of each dish.
Loved the salm
Great food and service.
Very friendly and attentive service. Flavorful food and we nice portions.
The music was loud. The service was distracted despite a fairly empty dining room. The lobster ravioli had no lobster to speak of and the cheese was mushy with water inside and awful.
Shocked at how much was charged for something that was so lacking in taste.
We want to love this local place, but it is the second time our meal was worse than we could make at home and not worth the expense.
I brought my girlfriend for our one year anniversary, it was amazing and so so special. Thank y’all so so much. Brandi was a wonderful server.
Always great food in an elegant setting. Prices are reasonable.
A very pleasant evening of delicious food and a great wine selection
This place is definitely not worth the money, I have had much better meals and service at Olive Garden. Not only was the food very lack luster but staff was not very knowledgeable about it. Drinks were the best part of the place and I had three different cocktails. The chocolate martini was my favorite. We made reservations for our anniversary and they didn’t even remember to acknowledge our celebration. I would not recommend this place and considering that we went at 7pm on a Friday and it was empty in there I would say not many other people recommend it either.
Very nice place with great service and good Italian food at very reasonable prices. We sat outside on a nice evening and found it very comfortable in a great outdoor area fully covered. We look forward to going back.
Great service. Great food. Quiet enough for a good conversation.
Quiet, cozy atmosphere. Great menu variety, food, and service.
Best lunch menu in Ft. Worth!
Great dining experience! OpenTable shouldn't ask me for 50 characters on my review.
Great venue, love the old house and the way they have redone it. Great patio space too!!
This restaurant was quaint- house converted into fine dining atmosphere. Note this is a business casual or smart casually dressed place. We tried the calamari that was different than any other that Ive had. They reminded me a deep fried thin fish sticks and the crab cakes that was delicious (Though their crab cakes cannot beat Eddie V's in my opinion). The lighting was soft and sitting next to the wine shelves with the back lighting, we admired all the wine collection as we lamented during our meal.
Private parking in across the street in what appears to be part of the university with marked spots for Piola restaurant. In addition to appetizer, we had Chicken Parmigiana and Veal Parmigiana, both that were tasty indeed pair with Pino Grillo wine.
As always we had a great dining experience. Service was smooth, meals were excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxing.
Very meh. For starters $6.95 for a 9in piece of standard garlic bread. Really? Then large fried calamari, $9.95. Huge portion for the price, but very bland. Entrees - Rigatoni Bolognese good sized portion, best item of the night. Chicken Marsala, sauce lacked depth/flavor and the mushrooms were almost raw.
Hospitality was luke warm from the server. Service was good, but outside of the owner at the door, no one was very friendly. Better off with a chain for the quality of food. Expect more from a family owned restaurant.
Decor was very nice and gives the impression that a much better experience will be had.
Lovely restaurant with extremely nice decor, white table cloths. Our waitress was outstanding, very personable and went out of her way to notice what what we wanted. We appreciated the quiet atmosphere. Our food was very good. My husband especially enjoyed the side of fettucine alfredo, one of his favorites. The chocolate ganache cake was divine. They are located very close to the Kimbell Art Museum so we will return there the next time we venture to Ft. Worth from Dallas.
