Pinstripes - Georgetown

The service was phenomenal! My friend and I had a fantastic time :) Fab food!
Cocktails were well-made, wine list a bit short. Waitstaff were helpful and speedy. We shared a full rack of barbecued baby-back ribs which were overcooked and had more char than one would expect. "Parmesan fries" were nicely crisp from a cornstarch coating but we didn't detect a parmesan flavor. We also shared a pear and prosecco salad which was fine but not notable.
Great meal, attentive service - highly recommend! Tiramisu was best we have ever had!
Food was good but not delivered hot enough. Service was wonderful.
Food was delicious! Will definitely be back!
It was my Best Friends 40th and We were in Georgetown and stumbled upon this restaurant! It was a delightful ambience and the food was amazing! The service was stellar!
We only went to the bistro and had a very pleasant dinner. Food was delicious, especially the chicken & goat cheese pasta, and service was fast. I also really liked the ambiance. I'll definitely come back to Pinstripes!
The food was good and we were pleased with what we ordered. The soup was hot and the salad was crispy . The portion sizes were very generous, especially the bruschetta. We had that for an appetizer and it was excellent. Fresh ingredients. The location was in a great spot, right on the canal. We didn’t eat on the patio, but that would be a great place to have a drink.
We had a great time at pinstripes, our server was rude however and forgot to put in our appetizers. The manager finally apologized at the end but I was very disappointed in my experience. Our group of friends made the best of the situation. Bowling was fun!
Bowling and some of the most delicious food you can get in DC! We had a blast!!!
A fun outing. Service was a bit spotty. Took 20 minutes for them to bring our drinks to the alley. Food is better than pretty much any other bowling alley.
Returned after our first visit during our lunch break.
Great dinner next to the canal. Mushrooms and calamari were delish.
Excellent stop in Georgetown! I highly recommend!
Four of us sat outside but even with a reservation still had to wait even though the tables were clear. We watched for 20 mins as the table wasn’t touched at all then we were told it was “ready” so that was irritating. Our first waiter kept forgetting about us and mixing up our order which was frustrating. He also kept neglecting to fill the water bottle which would have seemed obvious since we were outside. The food was great - goat cheese pasta and pear Prosecco salad were both perfect choices for a summer afternoon outside. I think it was clear the waiter was no good because he was taken off our table and then we were checked on regularly.
I love this place! I’ve been here 3 times. The first time I had a pasta dish that was so delicious, the second time, had the Sunday buffet—big variety of food and also so good. When compared with restaurant brunches offered elsewhere in Georgetown, the price is reasonable. And the third time we had lunch here, because not only do we love the food and service, but we had time to kill before leaving for the airport and had our luggage with us. They let us keep it at the front check in while we ate. We thought we would have to to bowl or bocce but we ran out. It’s a great place to hang out on a hot day.
Great brunch buffet
Bottomless mimosas and weekend brunch buffet was great!
Great Service and Amazing for. The short rib was the best!
I loved the feel when I walked into the door. Food was great and our server was great on recommendations
Really good food, surprisingly high end for good price. Our waiter was very friendly
Great Experience! Great food! Even better service and ambiance!
This is an annual trip for two Moms and two sons and it is always a relaxed, child friendly, and fun experience. We didn't get the opportunity to bowl this year, but we have in the past and that's a blast too!
Many of the items on the menu not available. Spotty service. Nothing to go out of your way for.
Fantastic lunch. Food was excellent - burger, burrata salad, corn chowder. Clean, bright space, great service. Would not have known it was down that alley had it not popped up on Open Table. Would definitely go back.
Our server was fantastic with our girl scout troop that was having dinner before an overnight at Dumbarton Oaks. The meals were delicious from the kids burgers and mac and cheese to the short ribs. The old fashion was a winner and will be back sans kids next time.
Great experience with my 5yr old and boyfriend.
Enjoyed everything … they were really busy and I was seated by the pleasant hostess and met by and taken care of by the exceptional wait staff!
Great service and delicious food. Attentive staff very friendly and funny waiter
Visiting on a Friday night around 9pm for casual dinner w/4 people in the bar area. Very fun, lively atmosphere during the Holiday season. We were celebrating a birthday and the waiter brought us 2 complimentary pieces of cake for the table, as well as gift cards to come back & visit another time. Will definitely be back.
This isn't a fancy place but it's a good place. The décor includes a bowling alley and bocce pits so don't expect posh. They have a small deck with some heaters that overlooks the C&O, which I think would be great for happy hour drinks. The food was very good as "comfort food" and the service was very very good (there were several servers with no tables--so many in fact that some of them were hanging around in the bathroom). If you like beer, they have Chimay Blue in the 750 "Grand", which was a great value. Our server was attentive, bright, and just chatty enough. It was the perfect place to grab a bite before a show at Loews Georgetown.
We had a business dinner on the patio. A last minute logistics change made it possible to meet centrally at Pinstripes. Unfortunately, open table wouldn’t let me make a reservation for 5, but the front desk staff were accommodating and welcomed us anyway, setting up an additional chair. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. We will return- hopefully for Fun & Bocce next time 😋
Excellent find in Georgetown. Looking forward to going back. Great place to relax and enjoy the evening.
Food was good, was disappointed that bowling not an option was told all lanes reserved till 1130 pm however while we were there not a single lane in use.
I don't write on here much, because most Open Table restaurants are at least very good. It's hard to distinguish them. But for the value, this place was truly outstanding. Go on a weekend, and order the lobster bisque -- I've had bisques that were not this good for 3 times the price at fancy places. Truly delicious. And the salad and spaghetti were also great!
The food was good but the service left a lot to be desired. We weren’t sure who our waiter was because two different guys came to the table. We told one of them we needed a couple more minutes to look at the menu and that turned in to 10+. I had to flag someone down to ask who our waiter was. The food was served in a timely manner. The most annoying part was being brought the bill at the end without even asking if we wanted desert or anything else.
I ordered from the Saturday brunch menu Eggs Benedict and avocado today which was beautiful and so tasty. The only thing is I had the worst upset stomach afterwards which latest for hours and that was all I had to eat or drink ask day.
Pinstripes is a fun location that, while expensive, makes an interesting date or group outing. It's main draws are it's bowling alley and bocce courts, as well its bar. The food in the bistro portion of the restaurant was good but not great. The bowling with a server delivering drinks, however, makes for a very fun and unique outing.
This has become one of my most favorite restaurants in DC. The staff here is absolutely incredible-- they make every meal here something special. The food is way above what one expects-- quality ingredients, nice portions, and thoughtful presentation. 5* establishment.
