Pinstripes - Edina

Everything was great! Flatbread, salad, wine, Derrick was a terrific server.
Food was very good, but had to ask for more bread sticks as they brought 3 for 5 people.
We usually love dining here. I selected the place because I knew I could get salmon or tuna. Unfortunately after I placed my order the server told us they were out of both. There were no other options I could eat is I don’t eat cheese, Chicken or meat I ended up with just a green salad. I wish we were informed when we first got to the restaurant that there were limited choices available as we would have gone somewhere else. So much for date night.
The service was pretty sub-par but the menu was diverse and there’s a great outdoor area!! Issues making a reservation through OpenTable (it doesn’t register with their system) so I would call in advance too. Didn’t have to wait once we told them we had a reservation though.
We changed our reservation from 5-10 people days before. I arrived early. Checked out where our table was. Because my 84 year old Mother doesn’t walk well. They had put us in the furthest part of the restaurant. And next to the kitchen. Which was very noisy! I asked to move tables. I was told it would be a hour. They had a another group coming in. Went to the bar to get a drink 1 other person sitting there. Took a good 10 minutes to get a drink. My guests arrived so we stayed at the table. Service was ok. Very slow. 4 of us had pasta dishes that were cold. The bistro had pretty much cleared out 5 minutes after we sat down. As far as we could see there was no reason why they couldn’t of moved us. I will definitely think twice about going back !
The food on Monday was especially good....and it usually is.
always love it here for lunch, brunch and dinner. Great food, great gluten free options.
Friendly and efficient staff and good prices.
Wonderful outside dining.
Inside, still has good views, but it's noisier.
Slow. we arrived at 10:00 on Saturday and had to wait 7 mins for table to be ready. It took another 7 for them to find which server of all there would be ours. They were still brewing coffee. By 10:45 we were ordering food. Food was hot and good. Service felt like it was in slow motion or they weren't yet awake or ready for us. My mother asked for gluten free menu three times and they forgot, then kept bringing the lunch one. Otherwise, we just had to be very patient. I'd say if the Saturday brunch is a new feature, they need to keep working at it to make it stellar.
Sat in a booth by the window and had beautiful scenery to look at. The server was new, but very patient and accommodating to our needs. The food was delicious. Will go again soon.
Went on a hot Sunday evening and had four adults and one child. Asked to sit outside on the lake end where the view was nicest. There were plenty of tables open, mostly 3- and 4-seaters. Was told they couldn’t seat 5 of us there, we had to sit near the fire pit area. Requested that we just move two tables together so we could sit in the more favorable area, was told they couldn’t (wouldn’t) do that. Mind you it was after 6:30pm and it was clear there was not going to be a big crowd showing up, with the heat. Hostess and manager looked just confounded on what to do, they did not seat us where we wanted but put us near the pit/parking area. Our meals were excellent, though they messed up on the child’s order and we were almost done eating by the time it was replaced. Just simple stuff that should be managed better, and leaves you a bit disappointed. Server worked really hard but hostess and manager started our experience off on the wrong foot.
Fortunately we had Open Table reservations confirmed for Sunday evening - I thought. This was made and confirmed several days in advance with special instructions. When we arrived on time for our confirmed reservation, it was not there and I was told that this was because Open Table didn't sync well with their ipads and that I should just book directly on their website next time. It is extremely fortunate for this host that they had several tables available and that I did not have to wait for a confirmed reservation. Not even an apology. The quiet corner could not be accommodated. Overall, the restaurant wasn't that busy and yet our bread came with the meal and it seemed like we were pretty much forgotten...
I love Pinstripes. I have hosted small parties, business meetings, casual family lunches, and even my daughters wedding reception. Their service, food quality, and consistency is refreshing!
Our server was familiar to us, and he really made celebrating a birthday fun! He explained the menu thoroughly, and brought out dessert to honor the birthday boy. We had a wonderful time, seated in the corner booth, overlooking Centennial Lakes. What a fantastic site and venue! Our food was excellent, worthy of a 5 star restaurant. Thank you!
Love Pinstripes...great menu selections and portions are generous.. beef short ribs are the best in town..
Great, great food and good service....
Dads 74 b day
This was our second visit and it will be a regular stop for us!! The staff and management showed their true class tonight. Food is terrific and their customer service was outstanding. Highly recommend this interesting venue..we will be back again for the beef short ribs!!
My 90 year old mother loves to dine outside on your lovely balcony. We had a delicious lunch together! We will be back!
It was a lovely summer afternoon so we sat outside. I loved the view and it was quiet. The food was great and we had a nice wait staff.
Super location. Great food and service. The short ribs are a destination item!!
Our first visit and we will return.
Greg staff great food!
Absolutely. The service is always friendly and excellent. The prices are great. They have many gluten free options. It is so nice to sit outside on a nice day.
The service was extremely slow & we had to ask for things that should have been normally provided!
We had the waffles with fruit for brunch on a Saturday. One of the waffles had a whipped cream with nuttela mix on top - the server said it tasted great, and it did. I had a side of sausage with the waffles; they were good size links and had a very good flavor.
We've been to Pinstripes quite a few times and have always enjoyed our meals. (In the spring / summer they have a nice outdoor deck for dining or happy hour.)
It was really loud but great service and good food.
Love this place. The kids played bocce while the adults hung out. Our waiter was OUTSTANDING.
Took over 30 minutes to have the kids meal breadsticks served as waitress forgot to order and my kids were starving. Had to ask 2-3 times to finally receive.
I just love it there for brunch, lunch, dinner, and happy hour
Was told they were no longer an open table restaurant, so had better double check with their employees as I did receive my dining points.
That said, Chris, our waiter, was on point the whole meal. Quick, courteous, great follow up, and always checking to see how our lunch was going.
The bread appetizer before lunch was warm and well seasoned. The olive oil and basil dipping sauce will not disappoint.
The chop salad and unlimited soup was fantastic. Some of the best chicken and dumpling and wild rice soup I have had anywhere, and we eat out quite a bit for lunches. The soup was served hot, not warm as most other locations do.
Great view of centennial lakes, and they even had the outdoor fire going on their patio,
You simply cannot go wrong for a great lunch or dinner, with bowling and bocci ball to boot!
Energetic noise level is a kind way to say; extremely noisy. Especially if someone in your group has any hearing challenges (like almost everyone over 55). Lots of service people. Hard to know who our person was. Food was good but not good enough to overcome the noise
Pinstripes is a consistently a winner. Atmosphere is terrific, service and food is top notch.
Great waiter, great food, fun place
Our go-to place for family get togethers. Always great food and service. The ribs were really good and very tender. Highly recommend them. The snow covered trees were so pretty looking out the big windows. Getting in before the rush at 4pm worked out very well.
I love their menu and the outdoor surroundings ( even on a snowy day) are beautiful. It feels like you are up north surrounded by all the trees .
The food and service was good
We were seated in a room that was completely sectioned off from the main dining room on Valentines Day which I wasn’t really to happy about. Our server didn’t seem like she was very experienced and wasn’t very attentive. I’ve been here before and had a way better time than I did on this last visit..which is kind of a downer since this time was a special occasion. The food was good but I don’t think we will be coming back here.
Such a great setting by Centennial Lakes Park - always a nice view winter and summer! Love the flatbreads and salads! The service today was excellent!
Food is very good. I'm off of bread, so more limited menu choices. The gluten free pizza was good, better than many other gluten free pizzas. Very fresh salad with home made dressing. A little pricey for what you get.
