Pinstripes - Chicago

Great time...great food...we will be back!
We visit yearly from out of town with 3 young children and make this our first stop every time. Great food and service for families and large groups.
Very easy to make a reservation and we were seated right away. Food is always great. I always bring my family here when they visit from out of town and they love it! My only complaint is that there aren’t enough options if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies (gluten free, dairy free). I asked for non-dairy options for my coffee and the server offered non-fat milk, which is still dairy.
Great food and great service!
We eat at Pinstripes frequently and are rarely disappointed. Bolognese sauce—at least that we’ve ever tried, has never been 3 chili pepper hot, and the chopped salad was salty. Hummus app was great as always. Guess we should’ve stuck to what we have eaten in the past.
We have been there many times and it never disappoints. Everything and everyone is great!
Generally Pinstripes has better than average food for a reasonable price. It is near our home so we are regular patrons. Recently I have noticed that the portion size is getting smaller and presentation is declining. I am not a big eater so historically this has not been an issue outside of the economics. However my last visit this was not the case. I ordered the open face salmon sandwich. I ate the side salad in three bites, more like a garnish, and the salmon was the smallest portion I think I have ever seen. Looked like a salmon fish stick. Not sure if this is a management decision or if they are just in the winter doldrums. I read they have taken on a partner to help expand. Hope the decline is just a blip and not due to the new partners influence. That would be unfortunate.
Never Disappointed. Best Brunch Buffet. Ever!
Great GF food and always great service !!!
Jess did an awesome job of serving us, a table of 5, she kept the conversation light and fun yet directive and professional.
There’s not enough good things I can say about the service, staff, and experience! My dad and I hadn’t seen each other in 3 years and chose pinstripes to meet up for dinner and bowl. Everything was incredible, especially the lobster bisque! We had a mishap and my dad ended up getting hurt early on during bowling and the staff was extremely helpful, they even refunded our bowling payment and called him a cab to help. Five stars isn’t enough. Definitely check this place out!
Seven of us ate here, including kids, and it was a good experience. The menu is broad enough to meet most needs, and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the fig and proscuitto flatbread, which I would eat again! This was a nice surprise.
Nice pizza, awesome service and great ambiance and music. The only thing that could be better was the desert.
The location and style of this restaurant was very cool. The smooth jazz playing live was something I truly could have listened to all night. We were on our way to Navy Pier so we could not stay long.
To be fair we were not overly hungry so nothing was going to be great. I had the Prime rib sandwich and it was not very flavorful and served with fries felt very bar-ish for the restaurant. The ceasar dressing was not great for that salad. The table had a pizza bread and hummus plate, not a big fan of hummus but this seemed to go over very well.
Needed to be able to play some bowling or bocce to get the most of this location. While I enjoyed the location, I would not return for just a meal in the future.
The food was unique and excellent! Joseph our server was wonderful! Great early New Years Eve dinner!
Pinstripes is just a good place to go. We came for lunch it was really good, which there food always is.
The chicken dumpling soup is definitely recommended.
Great food and value.
Service was excellent. Food was great and they have awesome gluten-free pizza. We will return.
We made a brunch reservation for a Sunday at 11am. There were plenty of tasty options, including vegetarian dishes. The server was great about refilling our mimosas. They have an awesome selection of desserts, too, which I usually don't see included in brunch buffets. We will definitely be back!
I’ve had almost everything on the menu! Everything is pretty good and reasonably priced in value. I love the chicken parm!
Outstanding food and service.
I was disappointed with the food. There are nicer casual dining places to go to in Chicago.
One of the best cocktails I’ve had, the Blueberry Mash. Really fresh food and delicious pumpkin pie gelato! We’ll definitely be back
I always enjoy Pinstripes. I enjoy that you get a great value for your buck with good food and drinks. It's a nice place to be able to bring kids to as well as being able to bring friends/family.
Went on a Sunday so slow night - pretzel bread dip was excellent, house chop salad was weird -dates AND olives that look exactly the same, and why tortilla strips? - the mozzarella app was good but all the service people referred to it by a different name than was on the menu which created odd interactions. The service was good overall as would be expected on a slow night and the space is very large with great views. Didn’t do bowling or bocce but could see how those would be fun here.
Excelent place to lunch or dinner with great views!!
We went for the bottomless pasta and salad dinner. The pasta and salad was excellent.
Great atmosphere for team networking and sports. Food and drinks very food and reasonable. Had a great time!!
Thank you, the Miller electric ITW safety team
Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the evening with my date.
Always good food, friendly, and usually able to get a table. One of our favorite neighborhood options.
Great outdoor venue on the river. Flatbreads are great!
A great late dinner stop for after the movies at AMC. Convenient, open late, and great food.
Our server Amber was delightful. We enjoyed our food, wine, and dessert. We ate on the patio which has a great view of the city and water.
Pinstripes is a variety of things in one location. One can play bocce ball or go bowling. There is dining both inside and outside. The outside area, where we sat this round, faces Ogden Slip, a short inlet off of Lake Michigan in the Streeterville area of downtown Chicago. It's great to watch boats go by and to have a view of the skyline facing south. The menu is varied. Service good. Food prices average for table service restaurants downtown. We've been here probably 15-20 times in the past few years. We've always been pleased with our meal selections.
Great local spot for those of us in the neighborhood. Great food, quiet if you go early. Save room for their homemade gelato, exceptional!
Amazing food but the service was terrible. The waiter took our order for drinks and then brought it out about 40 mins later and then charged us for double the amount of drinks and said he had dropped our drinks that’s why he charged us.
Love the patio!
We were given a table in the rear deck overlooking the canal. It was a lovely evening and we enjoyed the food and wine.
Great for brunch. There was a good selection of brunch type food items. The food is very good and service was friendly. The omelet station is impressive, lots of fresh choices. Your first mimosa is included with the price of the brunch. It's a good value and we plan to return.
