I came here with my family and parents. My father, who is in his 80's, can be a rather difficult customer. As well, he requires low salt diet for health reasons. He requested a no added salt meal (something that actually is quite difficult to get at most restaurants due to pre-prepped foods, etc.), and the waitress said she would check with the kitchen. After that the manager (owner?) came out, pulled up a chair when he realized it would not be a short conversation, and spent a good 10 minutes or more talking with my dad to find out what he wanted to eat. He also delivered a great meal as described to my father and even gave him an extra one to try. The rest of us all really enjoyed our appetizers and entrees as well. The pasta was al dente, and my son loved his risotto. Overall it was a great meal, and we are so grateful for the time they took with my dad. We will definitely be back!
Pino and staff do such a good job! I Can't wait until they reopen!!!
This is my favorite "go-to" restaurant for any occasion. I take many friends here. All have rave reviews. They end up going back. Highly recommend. We "share" all dishes. They will split
anything so we end up tasting a lot of their dishes. The specials are always good. We split soups and salads. Large portions for those. Pasta always excellent.
Great food, great service, awesome and inviting staff
We made reservations through Open Table but it seemed that the restaurant had a problem with our reservation so we had to wait. Otherwise the meal was delightful, generous, and the service was good.
We usually dine at down town Campbell, and decided to give Pino's a try. I can't tell how disappointed we are. My mother ordered their SeaBass special and I ordered the Prime Rib.
The Rib was overcooked and chewy no flavor at all. The SeaBass was basically 2 tiny pieces of the fish buried in a tasteless mash potato. The only OK dish was the gilled octopus appetizer.
Our server was nice, but she was assigned to too many table and she was running around like a headless chicken.
The owner was very nice and attentive. Portions were very generous. Try the octopus appetizer!
We had a fabulous table by the window, our server was friendly and amazing! The service overall was great and the food outstanding. A couple of large groups made it very loud, but we still enjoyed our dinner.
Always great to dine at Pino's. He is friendly and has a fantastic team, especially Keri, serving delicious meals with beautiful presentation.
Food and service was great. My husband had the tortellini special stuffed with porcini mushrooms and dusted with truffle shavings/oil. Earthy and flavorful, with a rich white sauce. My daughter had the risotto frutti di mare served paella style. Cooked just right with a hint of citrus. My other daughter had the gnocchi formaggi. The gnocchi did not have that "pillowy" texture and the sauce was heavier than it should be. I had the carpaccio, simple as expected. For appetizer we had the rollini mellanzane, good balance of pesto and red sauce. For the finale, we shared a cannoli and chocolate tartufo (sourced from a 3rd party). The latter was the best. Service was awesome, Rafael was engaging and informative. Overall, the experience was fantastic for a Friday family night out.
Nice Italian restaurant. Not very authentic but still great foods.
As always Food was Great, service was very good as well.
Outstanding hospitality, service, and food. Pino is a fabulous chef and wonderful host.
Fantastic first visit to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our server Keri was very friend and helpful. outstanding service and food presentation. The flavor of the food was superb. We will be returning.
4.5 staes. 3 different entrees, all delicious! Rafael was the perfect server. If you get a nice table location this place is great for catching up with friends vs. most of the other loud restaurants downtown. Like the intimate feel.
Mighty nice little, but comfy restaurant with such great attentive waiters (the care they give is remarkable)! Very good food!
Food was OK. I had the homemade gnocchi which was overly soft. The sauce was pretty good though. Service wasn’t the greatest either especially for a smaller restaurant. The upside being that you are able to have a conversation without too much noise unlike other restaurants in the area.
Food was great. They didn’t want to turn on A/C. It was a hot evening and when we asked a second time they did.
Great food! Owners are very friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great experience.
Outstanding food. Easily the best Italian Restaurant in Campbell.
