Pino's has a good basic menu of Italian staples [pastas, pizzas] and daily specials depending on what the chef liked when he shopped. We enjoyed a hearty Moroccan soup, the lemon chicken and a nice fish preparation. Their wine list is has lots of good wine by the glass and more famous Italian wines for special occasions. I've never had a bad meal there - so I warmly recommend a visit soon!
We love Pino's! We unfortunately hadn't been since pre-COVID, but when our best friend mentioned he wanted a new-to-him Italian place for dinner, we knew exactly where to go. As always, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. We've spent all morning talking about how great everything was and we can't wait to go back.
Waitress was attentive and knowledgeable.
I enjoyed dinner with my husband, daughter, and mother on Friday night at Pinos. We haven’t been here for years and a friend reminded me how delicious it is. She was correct, there is nothing better than truly homemade pasta! Our server and bartender were so friendly, helpful and patient. We wanted to spend some time visiting and enjoying cocktails, we were given privacy and time to relax and talk. Both servers were very helpful, they explained the menu and helped us to make decisions. Although the portions were large, they were not overwhelmingly large. A good portion with a small leftover. Although the sauces were amazing, the fresh handmade pasta stole the show.
My daughter is a tiramisu critique. It’s her absolute favorite dessert and Pinos did not disappoint. Although no one else got a taste.
I Can’t wait to return, Pinos is a fabulous, small neighborhood gem.
Chef’s new roasted San Marzano sauce is incredible! The wines are outstanding, and Mary can always help you to make the best choice to go with your dinner.
The food was delicious and the service was great! We enjoyed walking around the beautiful neighborhood before dinner.
Great service/food in a cute neighborhood restaurant!
This was my 2nd visit. I plan to return soon. Great place, good food and great service
Great place. Great food. Good music, nice ambience, calm.
Great food with a great atmosphere. Well spaced out tables and very cozy ambience. We will be back for dinner soon.
We were able to eat outside so that was a plus. Food, drink and service was excellent!
Always a pleasant experience at Pino's! Food is fresh and delicious!
I’d give Pino’s 6/5 stars if I could, the pasta is that good
Always a great night out at Pinos! Everything was delicious, I highly recommend the artichoke appetizer!
great place, amazing food, and wonderful owners! !
Consistently great food wine and service
Always amazing !
Our last-minute decision to eat at Pino's instead of somewhere downtown was well- rewarded. The chef accommodated my need for GF pasta so I had the special cuttlefish sauce on GF penne. It was rich and tasty and fresh. Dining partner ordered the salmon done well so it was seared nicely to seal in the juices. Looked great. The owner and servers were all delightful and as happy to be there as we were. I certainly will return!
Food was fantastic. Service was exceptional. The chef takes pride in all his food.
Joe makes the best sauces no matter what you order.
The fried calamari was good but the breadind was too salty
First time at Pino's and will definitely return.
The homemade pasta and pizza are amazing. Pino’s is our go to restaurant. We love the food and atmosphere. We have introduced many friends to the restaurant.
We went to Pino's for a birthday dinner. The food and service was excellent and they went above and beyond to make it a great experience for all. Would absolutely recommend. And definitely try the mushroom cacio e Pepe!!
Impeccable food, service, and atmosphere! The bartender (who is a sommelier) was particularly helpful with wine selection.
As always, the food was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and made sure the COVID protocols were in place. I highly recommend!! If do not live close by, it is worth the trip to Point Breeze.
Our server Mary was very professional and we had an amazing experience. Will be backend will ask for her.
One of the better Italian venues in the city.
It was lovely, a fine dining evening with great food
catered to my special request thanks food was very good polenta and meatballs
GREAT FOOD. GREAT SERVICE. I would come as often as I could. It was hard to decide what to get bc everything looked AMAZING and when I was walking to the restaurant...the smell was so inviting!
I wish the price point was a bit lower but honestly...the restaurant is worth the $5 upgrade from chain restaurants!!
Great place to dine and chat. Place has music but it is not loud. Food is awesome and service is great.
The waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was extremely cold my entire family said it was cold. The seafood risotto was not very good. The rice was very dry. The greens and beans were average. Overall not a great experience.
A nice Italian restaurant, with good food, in a cozy atmosphere, tucked away on a quiet street, but very near bustling East Liberty.
YUM! - always a treat! Can't wait to go back soon.
Alessandra is the best waitress and everyone there is very sweet and friendly. The food is always incredible!
Everyone was so pleasant and accommodating- from the greeter, to the server and the chef/owner! The food was absolutely delicious. We each had one of the house made pastas and shared the Brussel sprout appetizer! It was hands down the best vegetable preparation that I had ever eaten at a restaurant! So unique, tasty, delicious, and abundant! I am from out of town and definitely will come back here the next time that I come to Pittsburg! Pittsburg is lucky to have such a gem!
I have been all over the world and have eaten at so many great places. Pino’s is on par with some of the best!!
Our party of five all had incredible meals. We started with Brussels sprouts, calamari, and crispy artichokes for appetizers- amazing! Highly recommend the scallop/shrimp pasta, eggplant parmigiana, and bolognese. Jessica was a wonderful server, along with Pino's entire staff. Pino's is truly a neighborhood gem.
This has been our favorite place for years. It’s something we look forward to all week.
