The fried calamari was good but the breadind was too salty
The homemade pasta and pizza are amazing. Pino’s is our go to restaurant. We love the food and atmosphere. We have introduced many friends to the restaurant.
We went to Pino's for a birthday dinner. The food and service was excellent and they went above and beyond to make it a great experience for all. Would absolutely recommend. And definitely try the mushroom cacio e Pepe!!
Impeccable food, service, and atmosphere! The bartender (who is a sommelier) was particularly helpful with wine selection.
As always, the food was excellent. The staff was very pleasant and made sure the COVID protocols were in place. I highly recommend!! If do not live close by, it is worth the trip to Point Breeze.
Our server Mary was very professional and we had an amazing experience. Will be backend will ask for her.
One of the better Italian venues in the city.
It was lovely, a fine dining evening with great food
catered to my special request thanks food was very good polenta and meatballs
GREAT FOOD. GREAT SERVICE. I would come as often as I could. It was hard to decide what to get bc everything looked AMAZING and when I was walking to the restaurant...the smell was so inviting!
I wish the price point was a bit lower but honestly...the restaurant is worth the $5 upgrade from chain restaurants!!
Great place to dine and chat. Place has music but it is not loud. Food is awesome and service is great.
The waitress was very friendly. The restaurant was extremely cold my entire family said it was cold. The seafood risotto was not very good. The rice was very dry. The greens and beans were average. Overall not a great experience.
A nice Italian restaurant, with good food, in a cozy atmosphere, tucked away on a quiet street, but very near bustling East Liberty.
YUM! - always a treat! Can't wait to go back soon.
Alessandra is the best waitress and everyone there is very sweet and friendly. The food is always incredible!
Everyone was so pleasant and accommodating- from the greeter, to the server and the chef/owner! The food was absolutely delicious. We each had one of the house made pastas and shared the Brussel sprout appetizer! It was hands down the best vegetable preparation that I had ever eaten at a restaurant! So unique, tasty, delicious, and abundant! I am from out of town and definitely will come back here the next time that I come to Pittsburg! Pittsburg is lucky to have such a gem!
I have been all over the world and have eaten at so many great places. Pino’s is on par with some of the best!!
Our party of five all had incredible meals. We started with Brussels sprouts, calamari, and crispy artichokes for appetizers- amazing! Highly recommend the scallop/shrimp pasta, eggplant parmigiana, and bolognese. Jessica was a wonderful server, along with Pino's entire staff. Pino's is truly a neighborhood gem.
This has been our favorite place for years. It’s something we look forward to all week.
This is one of our favorite restaurants but it was just average on this visit. The calamari appetizer was bland. The Brussel sprouts were very good. Main courses were average. Veal special was just ok and the bolognese dish was not as hearty as usual. Lemon cake for desert was dry with virtually no lemon flavor. The ambiance is great and the service very good. We’ll be back and hope for a better dinner.
Always amazing experience at Pino's!! The entire meal was incredible. Best Bolognese I've ever had. We went for my sisters birthday and she was not disappointed 😊
Great staff, fantastic food!
Excellent Italian food! One of Pittsburgh's best! Very friendly staff. Service was as we expected.
Food was delicious and the wait staff friendly and attentive.
We went for Valentine’s Day dinner, both of us had pasta and it was delicious! I will definitely be going back.
One of the best Italian meals l’ve had in Pittsburgh which has a lot of Italians who know their stuff. Perfectly timed service with relaxed, but appropriate space between courses for conversation and libations. Wine is good, but a bit on the high side by the glass, but not out-of-bounds.
Our first time visiting and perfect pick for Valentine's dinner! Warm, welcoming and charming place! Amazing menu...absolutely delicious food...truly enjoyed everything!!
Absolutely love this neighborhood spot but unfortunately can be hit or miss. Salmon was over cooked and last time NY Strip steak was very undercooked (nearly raw). Service is always excellent. Love the burrata appetizer. Short rib pasta is amazing.
Excellent food, wine and service. Our waitress was friendly and attentive.
Our server Mary was exemplary. Friendly ,attentive , professional and prompt. She enhanced the dining experience. The food is always flavorful and delicious . This restaurant is a gem . Cozy , inviting and always a great meal .
Wanted to try something new to us and were extremely pleased. Service was on target and the food was exceptional.
Pinos never disappoints! One of our favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh. A true neighborhood gem.
We went for Restaurant Week. Everything we ordered was amazing and so good! We will definitely be back!
The food was great, loved the restaurant. The service was very slow, but I will still be back.
The food and service were great, with a good wine selection as well. In particular, the fried artichokes were crispy, well-seasoned and flavorful. Would recommend this place for anyone wanting a nice evening with a varied and well conceived menu.
Food and service outstanding. All homemade pastas breads and desserts.
This restaurant is awesome! The food is amazing and staff are upbeat and friendly! If you’re looking for a good experience and atmosphere this is a place to go.
Intimate, attractive little bistro restaurant that focuses on flavorful dishes accented by such things as fresh basil, homemade pastas and attractive presentation. Healthy portions. Nice variety of menu choices. Appetizers of Brussel sprouts was tasty, but fried artichokes were a tad too lemony and had too much breading. Eggplant parmigiana was mostly eggplant without too much breading and was layered with sweet-tasting marinara sauce. Wild mushroom pasta was loaded with mushrooms in a savory cream sauce. Salad dressed with lemon vinaigrette was enough for two people. Best tiramisu I’ve ever tasted.
Consistently excellent. Our favorite place.
