Pino's is a small neighborhood eatery tucked away in Pittsburgh's popular East End neighborhood of Point Breeze. We had a wonderful dining experience from entering the restaurant until leaving the restaurant after our delicious dessert! The ambience, service and hospitality were outstanding. We cannot wait to return .

Both the food and drink menus were interesting. We had three appetizers...the fried artichokes, the diver scallops and porchetta (burrata and ham on toasts). All were good but the porchetta was amazing. We had a berry, mascarpone dessert which was equally amazing. Because it was such a beautiful evening we were able to enjoy ourselves on the patio which was cozy and quiet. The only slight negative was that the service was a bit slow which simply could have been a staffing issue. However, the wait staff was very nice.

I took my mom here for her birthday. It was the first time at Pino’s for the both of us. The reviews are accurate and I’m so glad that we ate here. We were greeted with a wonderful aroma the moment we entered the restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. The drinks were expertly made at the bar. The delicious food arrived quickly to our table with generous portions. We will be back because the dining experience was simply fantastic.

A very nice local restaurant with consistently great food. Red wine list has limited moderately priced options.

This restaurant was recommended to me so we decided to try it for my daughter’s birthday . I was very disappointed. The pasta dishes were good but we also ordered the special of shrimp with stuffed crabmeat with risotto. The risotto was dry and the shrimp was overcooked. The crabmeat stuffing did not have much crab. I wish I had tried my daughter’s shrimp earlier because it was truly unacceptable. I’m not one to send a meal back but this one would have been. I was hoping to have a great experience but unfortunately it was not.

We have been here several times and it has always been outstanding. This time not as much. Service was slow to get our meals. The food was lacking flavor this time. While it was good, it was not great, as it usually has been in the past. The experience was lacking a bit this time around. Still a gem.
