Pinon Grill - Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
Loud kitchen...yelling and banging dishes.
Food was mediocre. Tortilla soup was bland and lukewarm. Steak salad was watery with little flavor. The steak was cut into small, jagged pieces...very unappetizing.
This is the second time trying Piñon Grill...two bad experiences so we won’t be back.
Pinion is a great restaurant with a beautiful interior. Very eclectic with big, comfy booths. Every meal ordered was perfect! A bit pricy for dinner- I prefer lunch here. Same food offered for less. I will return for the goat cheese salad! Great fries and burgers too!
we ordered the prime rib. It was very chewy and not very good. The special vegetable was bussel sprouts which were hard as a rock and had not been cooked enough. we were very disappointed in the meal overall. the waitress was good and attentive and tried to please.
I have been to Piñon numerous times. The most recent was for a friends birthday. The food is always fresh, delicious and delivered quickly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a wonderful ambience. I've never had a bad experience here. The restaurant is divided into sections – a bar area with booths surrounding it, and outdoor eating area with several seating options, and a more formal inside area that is more quiet. I wish they had some sort of frequent diner's card because I would like going here even more!
Excellent healthy food. Loved the grilled salmon with the kale salad. Skirt steak very tender and our grandson enjoyed his slider. Very nice Sapphire martini and very attentive waiter and serve staff. Brought our grandchild’s food out quickly as if they knew he needed something in addition to the bread.
Excellent food with great service (James). Sad to see sweet potato mash taken off the menu. So much healthier than the fries. Couldn't figure out how they could do fries and not potatoes until I realized the fries were institutional and not fresh. If they had fresh they could have potatoes.
Still, all food items were excellent and the service outstanding.
Not as good as I remembered The chicken was soft and only the skin had flavor. Like they throw it together in 10 minutes. The coleslaw wasn't good. The shrimp pasta was enough for a kid. Small serving ! And pasta is cheap. They had 6 medium shrimp on it. For$26????? Sorry guys. Very disappointed
The food was so delicious. I had the dinner special of Pork chops with the Eggplant Meatball as an appetizer. The appetizer was so large, I had to take half of it home. It tasted so amazing. The pork chops with the apple chutney potatoes was also wonderful.
My best friend had the crab cakes as an appetizer and the Chilean Sea Bass as a main course. She loved the Sea Bass and had enough to take some home for dinner the next night.
Our Server Michael was attentive, friendly, recommended dishes and made the dinner even better. Will definitely return, to try some other dishes.
Service was excellent, our waitperson was attentive, friendly and informative. She made us feel welcome and had a bright and positive personality. The food was outstanding and it was well worth the drive. I will be delighted to come back again and I have already recommended it to friends and co-workers. Keep up the great customer service.
We went with another couple and were seated next to the kitchen. Pots and pans were clanging. We asked to be moved and were given a booth. It was so noisy we couldn't hear each other. At a booth across the aisle were 5 girls who carried on taking selfies, drinking--they only had appetizers and they were very loud. Not a pleasant dinner. Food was OK
