Pinon Grill - Boca Raton Ratings and Reviews
We were seated near the kitchen it sounded like the kitchen staff were literally throwing plates around. We were a party of five and the sudden LOUD banging of dishes kept interrupting our dinner conversation. It was jolting and disruptive to say the least. Noise level was ridiculous and seemed like it could have been controlled better
Drinks and appetizers covered a nice range and were very well-made. The main courses range from excellent burgers, roasted chicken, several fish options, steaks, and even vegetarian choices. Everything was delicious, the service was attentive without over-doing it, and the cost was very reasonable for the quality and service.
We had dinner last Friday 12/08 and What a surprise to know that they change some items on the menu again!!!!
Last time they just took of from the menu the Chicken Paillard now they are trying a new version Chicken Milanese.
Horrible combination!!!! They ruined the plate!!!
I told my server that was not what I was expecting and then he let me know they changed the menu a month ago.
The pasta sauce is stick and the cherry tomatoes just don't go along with the plate. The milanese was very oily and nothing especial about it. The chicken was tender but just that.
What a disaster to celebrate my son's Christmas performance.
And also the price sky rocketed on this simple plate...24 dollars for this horrible dinner was outrageous...I wasn't offered any break down for this unpleasant surprise...maybe because I tried to eat some to give it a chance.
Hope they bring back asap the old Chicken Paillard menu!!!! The sever sad many clients had complained already....couldn't believe I had to pay for that sort of plate on this so nice place that we like.
The hostesses were extremely accommodating and professional. We both ordered the meatloaf
Which we had not had before. It was great and based on the suggestion of our server, Abigail, w had the kale salad. Fabulous. And Abigail is the most professional and friendly server. An exraordinaryperson, with an “up” personality. Further, wishing us happy holiday was a plus, which did not go unnoticed. A gem...
You can always depend on Pinon for a great meal. The bar is always busy, which means you get a good drink prepared by excellent bartenders. The wait staff is always knowledgeable and professional. We had not dined at Pinon for a while, but were not disappointed. The atmosphere makes an ordinary dinner out feel like a date night with my hubby. The large curved booths are comfortable and make conversation easy whether with just one other person or a group.
Loud kitchen...yelling and banging dishes.
Food was mediocre. Tortilla soup was bland and lukewarm. Steak salad was watery with little flavor. The steak was cut into small, jagged pieces...very unappetizing.
This is the second time trying Piñon Grill...two bad experiences so we won’t be back.
Pinion is a great restaurant with a beautiful interior. Very eclectic with big, comfy booths. Every meal ordered was perfect! A bit pricy for dinner- I prefer lunch here. Same food offered for less. I will return for the goat cheese salad! Great fries and burgers too!
we ordered the prime rib. It was very chewy and not very good. The special vegetable was bussel sprouts which were hard as a rock and had not been cooked enough. we were very disappointed in the meal overall. the waitress was good and attentive and tried to please.
I have been to Piñon numerous times. The most recent was for a friends birthday. The food is always fresh, delicious and delivered quickly. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a wonderful ambience. I've never had a bad experience here. The restaurant is divided into sections – a bar area with booths surrounding it, and outdoor eating area with several seating options, and a more formal inside area that is more quiet. I wish they had some sort of frequent diner's card because I would like going here even more!
Excellent healthy food. Loved the grilled salmon with the kale salad. Skirt steak very tender and our grandson enjoyed his slider. Very nice Sapphire martini and very attentive waiter and serve staff. Brought our grandchild’s food out quickly as if they knew he needed something in addition to the bread.
