Food was food but honestly expected more of many dishes being an Italian dining establishment.
The dining room was not too busy, and service was pretty slow. Food was average and somewhat overpriced. After all, it is just pasta...
The people make this place special. Claudia and Herb make you feel comfortable and welcome. Excellent service. Food was good too.
The spinach salad was delicious! I also had a really tasty chocolate martini. The bread was fresh and I love the butter they serve with it. I ordered Bolognese. which I have had from there before. It is very good, and the pasta they use in it aren't traditional for Bolognese, but give it a new flare. They were cooked to perfect al dente. I wish less big pieces of tomato were in it, a little too much of those. My brother had the chicken franchise, which he enjoyed. He did think the "eggy" taste of the batter made it a little dry, but a little more sauce on the chicken would take care of that. More sauce would also be good for dipping sides into, as well. He had an espresso at the end that was good. If you're going before a show be sure to make a reservation and give yourself plenty of time - this isn't a meal you rush through. All in all a very well-paced and delicious meal.
I have dined at the Pino Bianco several times and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend this fine dining establishment for any occasion. Our waiter Brian was attentive.
They were nice enough to accommodate one more person joining us at the last minute. Service was excellent
We come here often when we're at turning stone and love this restaurant! Food is so good and service is great! Only complaint is my pasta vodka rigatoni dish seem to have a small serving compared to the other main dishes in my party.
Exceptional food and service in a timely fashion! ❤️
Third visit to Pino Bianco and as usual we were not disappointed. we had four different entrees and everyone raved about their meals. Waitress was very professional and cordial and described in detail the meal and drink specials . Will return again on our next visit!
Was seated in a booth by the kitchen then were asked to move, someone had reserved the table.
Server (Michelle) was too over the top, trying too hard, was annoying.
My husbands salad never came out.
Lastly, the buser clearer the tanke while my husband was still eating!
I get wanting to turn tables , felt rushed
The quality keeps getting better so great!
Waiter Herb was great and the staff serviced our needs promptly. Great experience.
Great restaurant, we when back two days later for dinner. will be back next time were staying at turning stone
Found staff to be very knowledgeable of all items on the menu. Preparation of food as well as items that you could substitute for.
Also very attentive during meal but not pushy . Appearance was impeccable.
Will definitely tell friends to come to this place and enjoy themselves
The food was awesome, the waitress was excellent and took very good care of us, she knew what to do without even asking her, the food and service are one of the best in the area and I thought the price was reasonable for what we had, I am taking my wife back along with my daughters and son-in-laws, they will love it. The portions were enormous and we had them for lunch the next day, the thin crust pizza was out of this world. 5 star restaurant for 3 star prices--Can't beat it'''' Highly recommend this restaurant.
We had an excellent experience. Food was delicious and plenty of it. We had a wobbly table and they came and fixed right away. Very enjoyable experience
Food was excellent, specials were well introduced and were well worth choosing for our evening meal. Wine list was good with a good price range. Enjoyed our service and had a good experience.
The chicken français was very very salty. We were close to the kitchen and heard them screaming orders the entire dinner. Our waiter was very good.
Food was excellent but service was great. We made it a point to ask for Chris for any further meals we have there.
Great food and service. We don't go here often because of the distance from our home but we like to go for special occasions.
An excellent Italian restaurant, serving good bread, fine wine and great main dishes. The "Utica Greens" were authentic, and calamari made for great appetizers. I had the pasta putanesca style with shrimp; which was very good. The other dishes were chicken riggiees, spaghetti, and scallops. Each dish was very good. Our rum cake dessert needed work, as I tasted no rum.
I n summary, a great place to go in central New York.
Never had a bad mealtime
We love Pino Bianco, one of the best Italian Restaurants in New York State. Food is absolutely delicious and service is excellent. Chef is very Attentive as well. Had table facing kitchen and it was fun just to watch how much detail goes in to preparing each scrumptious dish.
This was our 1st time at this restaurant and it was a great experience. The menu was expansive. The service was impeccable. The ambiance was quaint and inviting. The only criticism was that the size of the meals was huge. 1 meal easily makes 3 servings. We plan to return there our next trip back.
The menu has changed and I do not particularly like it. I would always order the mixed seafood but that has changed. The last time I had it they used salmon as opposed to sea bass.
I would Never eat salmon in a red sauce!
Scrapenellia needs to be brought back.
THe anti pasta needs to be revisited.
Hope some things will be brought back. Look forward to a return with better selections.
I ordered shrimp riggies but chicken riggies . The riggies were good but not what I ordered.
Our waiter, Herb was excellent! The food & atmosphere were wonderful as well!
The meal and service is always great here. It is our go to restaurant. Great food, great value.
Waitress was excellent attentive.Food was good, one of us did not care for the special they had that night and gave us something else.Manager came over and apologized which he did not have to.
Good food especially the meatball appetizer and soup.
Food selection was great along with excellent service.
My wife ordered the shrimp alfredo which was not on the menu, but was absolutely delicious. I ordered the lasagna which was awful. I’m not even sure it was lasagna. It was a bowl of cheese and sauce with no signs of noodles. The waitress took it off the bill without hesitation once she saw my lasagna. Ambiance is great, waitress great as well, just wish the food or should I say my food was as good as my wife’s. Prices high... not an everyday place to go. Good for special occasions. I wouldn’t recommend the lasagna!
Absolutely horrible food. The service was great but the food was horrendous from the salad to the appetizer to the entree none of it was enjoyable. And it was really depressing because it was our Valentine's dinner!!
Service was very poor, food was bad. Had haddock francaise the sauces looked like gravy from the can. The tomatoes sauce was equally as bad. The coors light in the bottle was good. Will not ever return
Four of us ate dinner here. Everything was delicious. Appetizers, main entrees, desserts, the whole meal was delectable. Filet was perfect, chicken riggies were very tasty. Would definitely return.
The past two times we have come to Pino Bianco we have had a terrible experience. In may, we came for my birthday and received very poor service. We were there for almost 30 minutes before a server came over. Last night, we tried it again because we have in the past had great meals. The meals were not the same at they used to be. I got the filet and my potatoes came whole instead of cut in half, which resulted in then not being cooked through and very hard to cut open. The steak was ok. The filet at Pino Bianco used to be on par with the steakhouse and that is no longer the case. The service was ok this time but not what we are used to from TS steakhouse. I suppose you get what you pay for. I don’t think we’ll be trying here again.
Went for a Valentine's dinner. Everything was amazing. Food and service were outstanding. Great job to everyone!
We were celebrating 2 Valentine Day birthdays. They treated us well and service was excellent. I was disappointed with the clam sauce and linguine. The clams were too big and there was no flavor to the sauce, needed more garlic and noodles over cooked. They gave free dessert to the birthday people and were able to accommodate one extra person on such a busy night. The fish dishes were well appreciated and the Pasta Bolognase was good. Utica greens too hot with hot peppers.
Our meal was great. Well prepared swordfish
Our waitress was very professional and personal. She did a great job.
Outstanding food & service... always a good time... and NO issues...
