The wait staff was spectacular. Tina, Marco, and a new employee took excellent care of my party of 8 which grew from a reservation for 6. The food was excellent and everyone had nothing but rave reviews following lunch. One couple in the party return to the Pinnacle routinely during the month and are very familiar with the menu. They have the same lunch items each time they visit.
Thank you for the opportunity to praise your Pinnacle Staff.
The winery is in a very pretty location...lunch was wonderful, and we enjoyed going over to the tasting room as well. We would go again...very nice!
This was not my first trip to the Pinnacle restaurant. I was there for lunch with five friends on June 14th, three from Orange County and two from Banning. They were all impressed with my choice for lunch and would like to meet there again. The food was delicious and the service excellent. I definately am a regular customer.
Great view and great food, but service was a little slow.
One of our favorite stops when traveling to Temecula for lunch!
One of the nicer Winery restaurants in Temecula, and not overpriced
The food was excellent, the music was a bit too loud for conversation, but enjoyed it!
The brunch did not have a lot of offerings considering they charged $55.00 per person. Plus the set up was not very good.
Went for Mother's Day brunch. Overpriced.. Selection was very limited considering the cost at $50 per person. Scenery is a plus as its perched on top of a hill in Temecula wine country. Perhaps, dinner experience may differ.
For Mothers Day they were expensive for what they offered. Service was slow for only 3/4 of the restauant being full. Only the first drink was included. I would not recomend this restaurant for Mothers Day next year.
Nice place. Great food, good wine and excellent service.
We had lunch the week before Mother's Day for our early Mother's Day out.
Food was fabulous and the service was fantastic.
Thoroughly enjoyed our day and even went to the winery for some wine tasting.
very good food & service; excellent view of vineyards.
The wine is extremely good and the view of the winery from the restaurant is amazing!
Easter Brunch was not what I had expected. It was not worth the price although I appreciate our waitress taking off 2 meals and the wine. The chefs were not professional. The didn't know how to make an omelet and there could have been a larger set up and variety of food. I will not be back to the restaurant but still love the luscious lips wine.
The view is spectacular and service tremendous! The food was good and very reasonable for the wine country. My only recommend is to spice up the menu a bit (it's a little blah) and pay more attention to the food details. For example, I had the Ahi Tuna Burger, and while the fish and flavors were tasty, the bun was extremely dry. But overall was a nice experience and I'll go again.
The food was very good and the service was very friendly. We went to the area during down season but even then it was a very enjoyable experience.
Food was great but service was slow and not what I expect when I am having a $80 lunch. Would not go again, too many options and want a high level of service
Thank you for a great afternoon.
I had only been to Temecula one before, but never visited the Falkner Winery or Pinnacle Restaurant before. I am so glad that I researched all the different winery’s and restaurants before my visit. The food and wine was amazing and the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. To top it off we had a seat next to the large half dome window. What a lovely view whilst eating our delicious lunch and slipping on wine. I would recommend this winery and restaurant to all my friends and family. I can’t wait to come back again.
The food was good but the kitchen was incredibly slow! The restaurant wasn't that full, but our lunch took an hour and a half--way longer than it should have.
Food at Falkner Winery was superb as was the service. You won't be disappointed.
The Valentine's Brunch (on Sunday) was an amazing deal! Two wines, two salads, two entrees, and desert for two - all for $50. To top it off, the food, staff, and scenic view were all excellent.
For the past three years I've been taking my fiance there for Valentines. I live in the area and I really enjoy the Facility. This Valentines Dinner I just wanted to comment that dinner and drinks and snacks were fantastic. The one thing I will complain about, is the service at dinner. It was super slow and truly felt neglected. Pherhaps this comment might improve the service during dinner time.
Dinner was great, but overall experience was not as expected. Got there half hour early from l.a drive doors open at exact 6:30pm no bar or hang out area to have a drink or sit. Arrival greeting set up very awkward, a line to the hostess to choose/review dinner menu. Given a cut out heart number table to dinner table, once seated we were asked for dinner payment. Appetizers/wine were good . Overall Would not return or recommend this valentine event. Was not romantic and not worth $90 per person for the event ..
If in the Temecula wine country, this is an excellent spot for lunch. Good menu and generally good value. Has wines in addition to its own varietals.
Pinnacle was an unexpected surprise. The setting was great, the food fantastic and more than enough, and staff attentive and pleasant. Additionally, it was a pleasure to have the owner, Ray Falkner, walk around and introduce himself to all the diners.
We celebrated Valentine's Day at Faulkner's winery and Pinnacle Restaurant for lunch.
We had a group of 12 and was delighted with the service, food, view and the visit with Mr Faulkner. It was a special day for all of us and would come back again just for dinner or lunch. We all had a very nice time.
Great food with a beautiful view. A bit expensive though.
Although I didn't check "kid-friendly" as one of the options (because there is no specific kid menu) they were VERY accommodating with my 8-year-old. The service was perfect, the food delicious and well-presented and the atmosphere relaxing and beautiful. We will be visiting more often!
This restaurant has a scenic view that was amazing. We were celebrating my daughters birthday and would love to return as soon as possible to enjoy dinner again and to do some wine tasting. This Winery - restaurant if off the beaten path and is so incredible.
I THOUGHT THE PINNACLE RESTAURANT WAS VERY UNIQUE AND WILL DEFINATELY GO BACK
The potential is there, especially because the restaurant boasts a lovely view. The food was good, the service was fine. The ambience is lacking. The space is large and a bit cold. There is a styless salute to Tuscany with cheesy pieces of art on the wall and ridiculous faux columns next to the large windows that detract from the otherwise stunning view. The space has clearly been designed as a "hall" for weddings etc. The restaurant/winery folks should make up their minds as to whether or not the Pinnacle is truly a restaurant or a venue for celebrations. I hope they vote for the former--we need good retaurants in Temecula and they could easily fit the bill.
We visited the Falkner Winery and then had lunch at the Pinnalce. The inside resembles a Tuscan style feel and lots of windows overlooking vineyards. We ate there for lunch and had the BLT w/Turkey and the Lobster Mac & Cheese. The sandwich was real good split between two people. The Mac & Cheese was really a Penne style noodle with Alfredo Sauce and Langostino's. It was okay but expected creamy Mac & Cheese. The winery is just a walk across the parking lot. We bought the infamous Luscious Lips red table wine. I am not a red wine drinker but this one is good.
IT was wonderful having our Luncheon there...thank you so much for the amazing food and service
Food was disappointing. Nothing extraordinary especially for the price. I had talapia--very bland and boring. Asparagus tasted like it was cooked with margarine. Wine was great though.
Thanksgiving meal was very good. Chef carved turkey @ tableside. Awsome view! Waitstaff was pleasent & accommodating of special requests, but was very slow between visits. The person that seated me seemed shocked that I was actually eating alone.(OMG you poor thing)Very offensive. The room was extremely sparce & WAY too bright. Not romantic in anyway. The noise of people walking on the hardwood floors was distracting AND they cancelled my reservation prematurely. Probably will not eat here again.
The food was very good...however, we were under constant attack from flies (we sat indoors) which made the meal very annoying and not at all relaxing.
The service was not very good at all. The waitress, though friendly, never came by to ask how our meal was, nor did they come by to refill our drinks, replensih bread, etc.
It was nice enough to want to give them another try...but the overall experience was a little disappointing given the great potential offered.
It was wonderful and we plan to go again soon so we can try the other entrees. So many looked good it was hard to decide. It was very affordable.
This is our second visit to the Pinnacle at Faulkner Winery in Temecula, California. We will not return:
*My husband enjoyed his baked brie and scampi while my chicken crepe was cold.
*The waitress ignored my request for a glass of iced tea, maybe because it was not a glass of alcohol.
*A table of approximately 15 were enjoying their gathering and meal, however due to the wood flooring in the restaurant, no other patrons could carry on a conversation. I sat directly next to my husband and we could not hear each other speak. Seating outside was not an option as it was extremely windy that day. The waitress apologized for the noise at the end of our meal and I wondered why a member of management didn't address the problem.
