The Pink Taco is a Mexican restaurant and bar located in Los Angeles, California. With an attitude all its own, The Pink Taco is not your typical Mexican restaurant. From the outside, you would be forgiven for thinking this was a tattoo parlor with the outlandish colors and biker-gang style font that adorns the wall. The folks at the Pink Taco wouldn't have it any other way.
This is a restaurant built on great food and attitude, and everything here is in service to that, from the decor to the menu. The best time to come out is on Taco Tuesday, when the Pink Taco offers amazing specials on the many varieties of tacos and house-made margaritas. If guests want to go all-out, they should try the Pink Taco's signature dish, the fried lobster taco with avocado, chipotle mayo and mango-habeñero salsa.
The meat seemed old the dressing was overpowering .. i have had tacos here before and they were good but this meal was not
Our food was delicious, as were the house made maragaritas. Our server was very friendly and accommodating. Pink taco is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, we'll definitely be back!
The food here was very good. I ordered the fajitas which were good and the Cadillac margarita was excellent. The service(our server) was just average and it was not that busy for lunchtime on a Friday.
Fajitas were expensive and really greasy and oily with very little chicken. Have had better fajitas at virtually everywhere I've been in LA. Tried to get reasonable sized tortillas and it was like asking for gold bullion.
Ok place to go after a movie at Century City - full bar, large menu. Everything was "fine". That's about it.
What a quiet Saturday night meal. Obviously folks were still away for the Holidays.
The house Margarita was okay. Not much zing or flavor.
Food was good. Again no, special flavors.
Our server was delightful.
Had a fun and effortless group bday dinner here for my 23rd on a saturday night. Great outside table where you can still talk to everyone. Treated with a nice double shot of tequila and a sparkler instead of a dessert - which was a nice touch :) The margaritas, tacos, and fajitas we all had were delicious.
Pink Taco has some of the best food around. It's always consistently great!
We ate at this Pink Taco about 5 years ago. We liked it so much that we ate there 3 times during our stay. This trip we made the RES and actually drove an hour to eat there. This time the food was bad ( other than the Guacamole ) even the salsa / hot sauce tasted bad . Our bill came to $70 with tip and all three of us wished that we would have gone to Del taco by the hotel instead. Obviously we will never eat at Pink Taco Westfield Mall again.
Also... THEY STOPPED VALIDATING PARKING. COST US ANOTHER 3 BUCKS.
Food was excellent. Salsa options and sides were outstanding.
I love Pink Taco! The food has always been great! This is a great place for happy hours, group outings, girlfriend catch-up sessions... you name it. Some people even bring their kids here. The outdoor seating area is cool too!
I normally get tacos but the last time I visited I had the vegan bowl. Can you say amazing?!?! If you eat meat the waiter recommended that you add meat to the vegan bowl. I also had the guacamole and it was delicious. I am sort of a guac snob so I can say without a doubt this guacamole was bowl-licking good! I'm a fan!
I have not been at the pink taco for about nine months. I took a friend here for her first time because I really talked up the atmosphere, the food, the clientele, the ambience, the vibe. I was very disappointed to find that none of the things that I was looking for were to be found on this particular day. The service was very good, the food was just as I remembered it, but the vibe just wasn't there.
Unfortunately they removed the best items from the menu. What's left is mediocre. I used to visit monthly, sadly I won't be returning.
Stopped by cuz I was craving the tamale cakes... GONE! No longer on the menu... The corn cob was good , but I still miss those cakes... Cheesecake Factory has a subpar equivalent which I will prob have to settle for from now on...FML...
I've been coming to pink taco every Tuesday for the last 3-4 weeks. The margaritas are excellent. And the al pastor tacos are delicious. Happy hour on Tuesday's is only at the bar and outside patio. There is usually a wait for the outside patio but I would suggest waiting so you can see the scene of the beautiful city
Service was horrible. Menu changed, and it was empty.
The food here is just not good. Been here a couple times and haven't really liked anything. With that being said, it''s a great place to come grab a drink, watch the game, and maybe eat some chips and guac
We've always been big fans of Pink Taco. It's food, service and ambiance made it quite the draw for us. Having said that, there has been a change - not just the menu but the service seems to have suffered the same cutbacks.
We're hopeful that we'll see a shift upwards and continue to enjoy Pink Taco as "frequent flyers".
Unfortunately, the last time we went to Pink Taco both the food and service were mediocre... Not bad, just okay... not enough to come back and not so terrible that you'd call the manager...
My friend and I love going to Pink Taco particularly for the nachos. We especially like to come for holidays for some reason like St. Patrick's Day or Cinco de Mayo just for some reasonably priced drinks for happy hour before we head out for the day. I like their strawberry margaritas especially. Thanks for being a great go-to restaurant.
