My girlfriend was in from Calgary, we met at 9:30 and her favorite is the mushroom perogies. She asked for them special and the cook made them even though it wasn't lunch time. I apprecisted the jesture and the service. They went above and beyond! Thank you!
A nice place to eat. Good food, good service. Like the gift shop. Nice location.b
Food is flavourful, very consistant, and beautifully plated. Service is always pleasant. Price is fantastic. I encourage those who may think it is to far, to take the trip. If not for the food, at least for their two goats! Make sure to reserve in advance.
Great service, cute spot and were given a free dessert for birthday!
I have been to the restaurant, gift shop and furniture store many times. I always have friendly lively times with my lady friends. The food has always been good and the shopping great fun.
I have mentioned it to many friends and my sister who is from Oakville, Ontario. My sister was visiting me and we decided to visit Pineridge Hollow. We came for lunch and shopping.
The lunch was mediocre and the gift shop is now mostly clothing. What a disappointment.
Food was delicious, service great, shopping Awesome. Thanks for the great experience.
A delightful experience and we will come back soon
My daughter and I had a great evening. Our very reasonable meal turned into an over $250.00 night with our purchases in the store, but I love everything I bought.
And our food was delicious!
We decided to dine for lunch and sat out on the patio. It was quiet and relaxing. We both really enjoyed our meal. The beet chips are especially delicious. The service was warm, friendly and prompt. We never felt rushed at all. A very welcoming experience and we will definitely be back soon.
Had a great lunch with friends today. Started with the beet chips, very addicting. Then fish tacos and the perogies. Everything was delishious. Our server was very good. Made sure we got everything we wanted. Always enjoy going there.
Everything was excellent...except the hostess, who, when I saw my name at the top of the reservation list and commented that that was my name, looked at me, with absolutely no smile and stated sternly ‘I said hello.’ I let it pass, but while seated, waiting for our meal, my guest said I was too nice to the hostess, after her briskness, and my friend said I should have spoken to the manager since one wants a friendly greeting rather than a snarky one.
We went for brunch with our family to celebrate two wedding anniversaries. It was a very enjoyable experience-- great food and beautiful atmosphere. Definitely worth the drive!
Pineridge Hollow has a special place in our hearts as that is where we got married 15yrs ago, hence our return for our anniversary supper. Our waitress is new on staff but you wouldn't have known it as she was lovely! we had beet chips (oh yum), Caesar salad, cauliflower tacos, mushroom perogies and the smoked chicken entree; yes we took home leftovers as the beet chips and salad already had us filled as the portions are good sized.
i think its great they continue to have excellent chefs on staff and that locally grown is important to support. Can't believe they now own a chicken farm.
we were disappointed that no mentioned was made of our anniversary; my husband included that in his reservations.
We had an excellent meal and service was excellent. We were on the second level for dinner - need more air conditioning!!
My friend and I chose this restaurant as a place to celebrate our 60th birthdays. Our lunch was fabulous....the food was great, we were not rushed, and the staff brought us complimentary desserts when we mentioned that we were both celebrating birthdays this week.
I always enjoy lunch at Pineridge Hollow. The salads are always fresh. The beet chips are a must have! Relaxed atmosphere. We didn’t feel rushed and the service was excellent
Service was friendly and quick. The beet chips are my absolute favourite. I tried the cauliflower tacos which were new on the menu and absolutely delicious! My mother ordered the fish and chips, the portion of fish & fries was giant- would be great to share. I also recommend trying the Pineapple Express if you’re in the mood for a refreshing cocktail.
Brunch was excellent and the cinnamon bun was the best I’ve ever had
Love this place and our server in the patio was amazing. Attentive, bubbly and so genuine. Wish I had gotten her name. A real gem!
Service was great but all the food was cold to lukewarm. Toast with one persons breakfast was burnt and the English muffins with the eggs Benedict was hardly toasted at all. For a $20 breakfast I wouldn’t go back. If the food was outstanding the price wouldn’t be an issue.
Our party of 6 had a wonderful experience overall but there was one disappointment. We decided to finish off our celebratory dinner with desert for everyone. I was unable to order any desert, however, as I am Lactose Intolerant and there were no lactose-free desert options on the menu.
Very noisy. Food was just so-so. Not our usual good experience. Even tho we had 9 people’s thoughts was in the same spot as always. A little variety in seating would be pleasant.
Eva and Brian bear.
We did not stay to order. We had tried initially to phone to book, but this restaurant no longer takes reservations by phone. There was a link on their website "book a reservation" which took me to Open Table. So, we attempted to book on Open Table for 5:30 pm birthday dinner (two younger children ages 4 and 7 in our group of 6) reservation, but the only times that were available were 2:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. We took the 3 p.m., but found only the luncheon menu offered on the table once we were seated. We were informed that we couldn't order from the dinner menu until 5 p.m. So we left and went to the Red River Steak House, not too far away, where we were able to order dinner. There should be an Open Table pop-up when customers select a dinner hour and are offered mid-afternoon, for this restaurant, that it is only the luncheon menu available before 5 p.m. I must say we have always enjoyed the food at Pineridge Hollow, but we were never aware of these time restrictions.
My first experience here and it was wonderful! Had the quiche and salad and it was awesome. Loved walking the grounds and going through the stores. Definitely a great time out with the girls to celebrate my Mom's 76th birthday! Thanks so much.
Hi, the hostess did not greet us nicely, no smile. Not very friendly. Food was good, soup was not good that day. Shopping was nice. Love Pineridge. My experience this time will not deter me from returning again. I just didn’t like the way the hostess treated us.
Well worth the drive ; great food and lots to see & purchase
I brought my friend and daughter out for lunch, we sat outside, I believe the waitress we had was new, she was a little slower then what I've had on previous occasions but she'll learn.
Beautiful place just outside the city, we had a lovely afternoon. And I'll definitely be back.
If you get there early, you can visit the gift shop. That was fun. We even ended up buying a painting.
We had reserved. There was no wait. The waitress was really nice. Brittany if I recall. The wine was very good. We ordered a bottle of Chilean red.
The wait for the food was quite lengthy but we were not in a hurry...being retired.
The fish and chips were awesome...pickerel. the Reuben Sandwich was equally great.
The dessert was INCREDIBLE.
We would definitely return.
They went above and beyond to make our experience especially special.
Lovely and enjoyable I love going for special occasions and to meet friends
Great food little pricey but worth it. I will definitely go back!!
As always, a fabulous dinner with extremely friendly service.
We'll be back soon.
We were very disappointed with the service
It was very slow!!!
Sat in the screened in porch and had a lovely lunch and setting!
My friend celebrated her 65 th birthday.
We had a lovely meal and the
service was very good.
Excellent, as always. Lemon ricotta pancakes are the best!
How many stars can i rate this place. Highest level of stars 100% plus add an extra 100 stars for their tuesday evening classes,m. I went for calligraphy class and had a nice date night with my husband. Food is top notch! Try the beet chips. Service is friendly and attentive. Dessert! Well now, thats my favorite topic. I love creme brûlée and it was magnificent. And When your baby has been crying all day, you havent been able to make dinner, you can pick up pineridge hallow to take home.
Thank you - our group had a very nice time - it was a Birthday get together - the free dessert for the birthday girl was a very nice touch! The food was delicious - love those beet chips!
Our service was a bit on the slow side - the waitress was very nice but perhaps new!
