Parking details
The Downtown Core provides free 2-hour parking for all customers and visitors in the downtown area. The City of Bend operates a ticket dispenser lot 50 yards south of the restaurant. This lot allows for 2-hour free parking and extended parking on a pre-pay basis.
The new Centennial Parking Plaza located at 61 NW Oregon Avenue provides 3-hour FREE parking. Parking is free in all public lots during the evening and weekend hours.

Haven't been to the Pine Tavern in something like 15yrs, and was hoping for a stellar experience. Didn't quite make it. Bacon Mac n cheese was normal, Cajun Shrimp Alfredo was very bland and didn't appear to have any Cajun spice at all, the Fish n Chips were okay, fish had good flavor but we're too heavily battered. Fries were great! Waiter was stiff, wait staff helpers were much friendlier. Overall not an experience that will have us rushing to go back any time soon.

We were really disappointed in our meals tonight to the point that I am not sure we will return. There seems to be a movement to decrease the portions. We did not care for the vegetable with our dinner, we told there were no other options. So we ordered a house salad that easily fit on a small bread plate, and paid extra for it. Dinner was fairly expensive to walk away feeling unsatisfied.

I loved the sautéed brussel sprout salad. I had a pork special that was AMAZING with bacon jam topping! The mashed potatoes were sweet and delicious (I want the secret recipe-denied!). My sister had to have her chicken marsala remade, as her first version was difficult to cut with regular table knife! Cute place with great staff!

We arrived in time to benefit from happy hour in the bar area. The food and drink selection and prices was so good we thought maybe we didn’t need to go into the dining room. Thank goodness we did go in for dinner. A very beautiful dining room with cloth tablecloths and a beautiful giant Ponderosa Pine growing right through the roof. The food ws excellent and our waiter took care of fabulously. I was not expecting it to be so good!

We’ve lived in Bend for several years and have been to the Oine Tavern several times for happy hour and bar food. It’s always been good. However, we recently had a formal dinner here and it was excellent. Great atmosphere in the dining room and exceptional service. And, the food was some of the best we have had in Bend. Perfectly cook steak (one of us had a rib-eye), as well as the fish.

This was a birthday celebration and Pine Tavern even has menus preprinted with “Happy Birthday” on them. It was a lovely surprise.
Our server was top-notch. The restaurant was busy but she made us feel like we were her only customers. The food was prompt and delicious.
Pine Tavern mud pie was the perfect ending to our celebration.

We had reservations for a special night out. This was not our first visit or meal here. However, this night was a total fiasco. The food was average, the restaurant ran out of several items( even the appetizers) and our servor was drunk or stoned or both. Will not eat here again for quite some time..

Seemed expensive for turkey.
The taste was poor for the price. Seemed more like a Denny's meal
We weren't as happy with the event. Had a 4;00 time to sit and they kept us waiting 20 mins, after trying to give us a worse table.

The restaurant was in the weeds on Christmas Eve. We've been here several times and not sure we will go back. They probably needed to limit their guests so that they had enough food, etc. The menu was limited to 4 items which was OK, except they ran out of rice and substituted partly cooked red potatoes without asking. The veggies were uninspired and under cooked squash. The waiter was not in the mood to serve. All in all it was memorable, but a pretty SAD memory.

Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve, My guest ordered prime rib for $40.00. It was a poor cut with huge amounts of fat. I ordered the turkey dinner. The presentation was an off color yellow bland looking plate. The turkey was ok and the side dish of brussel sprouts adequate but the overall look of the dish was repulsive. For these prices one might expect something excellent. In both cases the meal was quite substandard.

We had to wait 10 minutes for our reservations time despite the restaurant not being busy and having open tables. Service was slow. There was a large bug in our salad. The food poorly cooked and over seasoned. We will not be returning.
