   Grest service by our courteous and knowledgeable server. Food was superb. I hsd the tomato soup and lamb loin.

   We've had quite a few meals at Pine over the last few years, but because the menu seemed to be staying in place we hadn't been back till last week. Although that great drink Smoke & Flowers is now gone, the menu was very different, and our dinner was excellent, probably the best we've had this summer. The preparation was thoughtful, with attention to detail, and the tastes were nuanced. We liked the drinks, and we very much enjoyed the whole evening. Many thanks to the chef, server & bartender--

   This restaurant is in the main hotel in Hanover NH and serves the hotel well. I have eaten here a number of times over the last three years and this past weekend were the best two meals I've had there (lunch and dinner with two other diners). In the past, I had always felt that some of the dishes didn't really meet their potential or come together but this weekend all of our dishes were delicious and well executed. The food has always been fresh and pleasantly presented and was again this weekend. The ambiance is clean and lovely and I especially enjoy when we are seated in one of the window tables. It does get a bit loud at times but it's a very happy, energetic place. The service was unwaveringly friendly and accommodating but it seemed that they were a little overwhelmed at times by the number of people they were serving and so there were times where things were a little slow. As with most hotel restaurants, it is a little pricey but the only restaurant of its kind in town. We enjoyed it and look forward to returning.

   Had an ok experience. Food was good but service was pretty bad. Wouldn’t go back. Better within the region for dinner than Pine

   We have found that, unfortunately, the quality of food at this attractive and bustling restaurant, has been steadily deteriorating over the last two years ... from an exceptionally high level to just about average ... and below average when taking into account the prices ... which have increased steadily. Also, table service used to be remarkably good. The staff continues to be pleasant and competent but the pace of service has slowed considerably ... understaffing may be the culprit.

    Pine is a wonderful restaurant. The food is delicious, with many local, farm-to-table dishes. The ambiance is perfect - gracious, friendly service in a beautiful setting.
