Pine Lodge Steakhouse
Great space for large family gathering. Excellent service!
GREAT BAR ATMOSPHERE AND THE BARTENDER WAS AWESOME!!
Family holiday meal
Wonderful ambience and decoration. Wide menu. Pricing is a little high. Steaks do not compare in quality to other similar steak houses. But overall a great experience.
Beautiful inside and out. Food and service was very good.
Overpriced for the quality of food you get. Great atmosphere.
Definitely make a reservation especially over the weekend. We ate upstairs then downstairs back to back nights and it was great. We had a blonde waitress and cant remember her name but she was great as well.
The price was insight and the food even better.
Great service, menu has large selection to cover everyone's taste , food was very delicious, I would return to enjoy again!
Great steaks, employees very helpful, e joy it very much
The service was very slow we waited for nearly 2 hours for our entrees to arrive.
We are on vacation and came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday as it was highly recommended by the locals. Made a reservation online and noted it was her birthday. No acknowledgement at all of the reservation or birthday. For the price I expected a nice restaurant. It was more like a sports bar and the prices were very steep for what you got. Food was okay, nothing special. Wouldn’t go here again, a disappointment.
Just not a very good restaurant, all in all. It was clean and the server was quite nice. We waited an hour to get our meal when the restaurant wasn’t busy and the food came cold. My wife’s crab cakes were dry and looked like they had been done for quite some time. I had prime rib and potatoes and they weren’t even slightly warm. When our waitress stopped by to check on us, I let her know and she tried to take care of it right away. However, I was then brought back the same potatoes that had just been thrown into a fryer again (gross and very unappealing) and a new steak, rare instead of medium, cool to the touch, sitting on a cold plate full of hot au jus. The butter on top wouldn’t even melt on either steak I was served. To be fair, I think they tried their best, but it’s just not a very good restaurant. Maybe lower your expectations or just get a burger and fries.
The service was great and the food was perfectly good and very tasty. The atmosphere was lovely and the view was nice. Arrived early so started with drinks downstairs at the bar before dinner upstairs. I would recommend Pine Lodge Steakhouse to anyone visiting Deep Creek Lake.
Our server was fantastic and helped me choose gluten-free food.
Pine Lodge was absolute heaven. We went for my sister's bachelorette party and could not have picked a better restaurant. The staff were incredible and the food spectacular. We will definitely be coming back!
Service was great. Appetizer was great. Main course (steak and cake) was mediocre.
Food was delicious and our server was very attentive to our party of 10, plus toddler.
We went there for our 5th year anniversary and everything was great!
We left dinner feeling underwhelmed. The entrees we had were okay, but just okay. Filet and crab cake combo and the stuffed flounder were merely adequate in quality, yet we paid resort price, even city price, for mediocre fare. Not bad enough to complain about, just over priced for the quality and portion size. We’ve had better at local competitors. A shame, because the atmosphere is great, service is attentive and the cocktail/bar choices great.
The food was excellent, but the service was poor. It took 40 minutes after ordering to even receive our salads, and we had to ask about them. We had three different servers, and the restaurant was not busy.
The food was good, but a few things could have been much better. It was happy hour which meant 1/2 price on the back half of the menu, but only downstairs. That should have been mentioned before we were seated upstairs. Also the drinks were only discounted downstairs. We considered getting up and going down to see if we cold find an open table. The waitress did not describe much about anything. There was a supposed special on a orange crush. I asked what that was and was told it was a mixed drink. Well Duh. The manager was wearing jeans. For the prices charged and trying to be upscale, they need a lesson in what that is. I was expecting much more. We went to Dutch's the day before and that is what I call a nice restaurant. Also upstairs there were only three groups of people with three separate waitresses. Why would you seat two groups back to back and be crowded when the rest of the room was empty?
Calamari was the best I ever had —- but they only had Lipton tea.
They did not honor the Open Table reward. That was embarrassing!
I had eaten here two years ago for my birthday celebration. Love it then, even better this time.
Crab cakes were delicious. Service was great we were even visited by 2 managers. We ate on the outside deck which was very nice.
As always, the food was excellent. Our server was courteous and very helpful. We will definitely return.
We went to a steakhouse after having steak/beef two nights before. So we ordered a prime rib appetizer that was delicious! And then we each had salmon that was cooked perfectly. And our server was lovely and prompt without being overbearing. We would go back.
Our family of five, with three teenagers, enjoyed everything we ate at Pine Lodge Steakhouse! The shrimp appetizer and crab dip were amazing! We requested a few substitutions which were fulfilled easily and without issue. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the chocolate cake was delicious. The service was well-timed and attentive but not overbearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will certainly visit again!
We have dined here routinely ever summer. This year the food and its presentation was especially good. A terrific improvement and a have again for sure!!
Went late on a Sunday and the food and service was top notch!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at 6:30pm on a Saturday night. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees were all served promptly and were deliciously cooked to perfection! I highly recommend their creamy crab soup. My husband had their filet which was cooked to the temperature he requested and full of flavor. I enjoyed the salmon with mashed potatoes which was a large portion, enough to bring leftovers home for lunch the next day. We got to bring a huge piece of chocolate cake home which was complimentary due to our anniversary celebration. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable. Two other workers, possibly owners, also visited our table to make sure we had everything we needed. The building is beautiful with gorgeous knotty pine wood throughout and high vaulted ceilings. From our table we could see the lake. Overall if you visit this restaurant, you will be very satisfied!
Food was ok for the value. Wine was great.
Food was great. Awesome honey butter! Our waiter was fantastic. Would highly recommend.
We have a good very good meal. It is expensive so be prepared.
This place was amazing, we were a party of 7 and we had such an amazing server and the food was outstanding!
The atmosphere was nice, the view was nice and the service was wonderful.
Loved the service and the food. Worth money. It was our date night!
Been to much more expensive steak houses that don't compare to this place. We always take a day to visit when we are in town.
We had made our reservations with our dog and the weather was questionable. The manager called and offered a small overhang area but we declined (do to it was a smoking area) and went ahead with the outdoor seating..well the skies opened up and we ran to to covered porch area had it all to ourselves! Our waiter, the manger and another waiter came looking for us and were so nice and accommodating! So staff gets an A+ and also the food!! We will return next time in the area!
