Pine Lodge Steakhouse offers freshly prepared food in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. In this majestic rustic log lodge, they serve only the finest cuts of beef, as well as, salmon, cold-water lobster, crab cakes and more. A specialty of the house is their famous Creamy Crab Soup - it's a favorite among the locals! We were voted Garrett county's best steakhouse.

Overall, Pine Lodge was a great dining experience. Food was great. Service was outstanding. The server was very attentive to our needs, fast, and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and evening at Pine Lodge. It is arguably one of the best restaurants in the Deep Creek Lake area.

What a great place. The food was amazing. I got crab stuffed shrimp on top of risotto. And for a appetizer I got the seated scallops with maple syrup topped with bacon. Absolutely delicious. Our waitresss was incredible. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Beautiful restaurant with great location but frosty greeting by the hostess. Server was pleasant and attentive but not very friendly -maybe because she was busy with big table but restaurant not full. Food was expensive but disappointing. Prime rib was tough. Salmon dry and overcooked.

They ran out of food, it took over an hour to get food. The meals were dry and unseasoned

I was disappointed in the steak filets that we had over Valentine's weekend. The steaks were tough and just didn't have a lot of taste.

Came here as a party of 8 for my 40th birthday. We were all really looking forward to this, but sadly it was not a great experience for us. We arrived on time and was shown right to our table, which was great the ambiance was perfect. Our waiter Ethan was not great. I guess he was having a bad night. After ordering drinks and apps we had to ask for bread that other tables were giving automatically. I ordered a onion soup with mushroom option. It came out with no cheese on top (the best part) nor a mushroom. I ordered my steak medium rare and it had a stick in it when arrive that said medium rare but it was cooked at a medium well. I did not say anything because our waiter was just not happy to be serving a party of 8. He made a comment after were ordered apps and drinks "are you just orderings drinks and apps" we said no we are ordering dinner and he just walked away. At the end of the dinner we asked him were we a terrible table for you (because he was just not happy) he said no all tables are terrible and that is why i am quitting. We paid and still tipped 20%. We came to deep creek from 3 hours away and just wish it was a better experience for all.

The ambiance, location, and restaurant itself were beautiful, but the price point left much to be desired. The food and service were disappointing.

We had a very disappointing experience at Pinelodge last night. My husband ordered the prime rib and said it was as tough as shoe leather. I ordered a chicken special which had a nice amount of toppings but was very dry. On top of the food being sub par, our server gave the impression that he wanted to be anywhere else besides at work that evening. We received minimal attention. It would have been nice to at least see a smile from him. We will not be visiting Pinelodge again any time soon. It’s too bad because we are here in deep creek quite often.

Was extremely disappointed that the restaurant was not open and we had to sit at the bar. Our burgers looked pre-made, came with raw onions and nothing extra and our steaks were very tough, the broccoli was not cooked.
