Using only the freshest and finest ingredients available in the marketplace Pina handcrafts all of her sausage, manicotti, cannelloni, lasagna, gnocchi, bread and sauces, not to mention her luxurious and sensual dessert offerings as well as all of her other exquisite dishes.
expect to experience exceptional quality traditional Italian cuisine created to meet the very highest standards of gastronomic excellence. Pina rigidly adheres to this standard and proudly proclaims – "I will not serve any dish that I would not be happy to eat myself."
Always a wonderful experience. Fresh homemade scratch kitchen, timeless recipes and 3-generation family service make Pina's restaurant the gem of Orange County.
Last minute reservation and they were gracious to accommodate us. Salad very good and calamari appetizer to die for. I wasn't too keen on my entree and owner rushed to the table to check on it. I never said a word to anyone but somehow she knew. My wife and son both enjoyed the food
I will definitely repeat .
The food is outstanding and the service was friendly. All cooking is done to order and served hot and fresh. This is a little gem hiding in plain site.
Great food but kitchen was a little slow. Full house, so we expected this.
Nice little restaurant that make food from scratch. Their salad dressing was great. The Chicken Parmigiana was good. The marinara sauce on the pasta was a bit watery and lack seasoning. The freshly baked bread was great. Overall, it was a nice visit.
It is a great little spot. Refreshing change from chain restaurants. Love the food and the family. Real home made Italian. A rarity.
We love the food, family atmosphere here at Pina’s, highly recommended if you haven’t tried it! Homemade pasta and sauces, delicious desserts!
Excellent food and friendly efficient servers. I love this restaurant!!!
If you enjoy restaurants where the owner is cooking and the family is waiting on you, this is a great example. The food is traditional old school Italian. Excellent!
Pina's is clearly one of the best Italian restaurants in Orange County. Everything is made fresh to order not premade and reheated. If you like, Pina will come to the table and discuss how you would like your favorite dish prepared. The food is great. The portion size is just right. The service is good. The wine list meets my needs. This is the third time I have eaten here but the first time I have eaten outside. The outside dining area is protected by a clear plastic drape which gives you the feeling of roominess and freedom. All in all, a great dining experience. I'll be back again with friends and family.
Pina’s Bistro makes their food with Love! The ingredients are fresh, the meat choices excellent and the family is a treasure. Every meal is consistently excellent and you can tell each meal is made with a love for cooking and quality. It’s definitely a gem.
This small, intimate, friendly restaurant cooks and serves meals only as they are ordered so there may be a little wait until you get your food, but it's well worth it. Service was great, with the server taking a personal interest in helping us order. She didn't hover but was there when we needed something. The dinner salad was a romaine lettuce with finely chopped tomatoes in a creamy basil dressing (a family recipe attributed to grandma). For my entre, I ordered a delicious sea bass in a smooth, light, tomato cream sauce with homemade linguini. The fish was mild and moist, sitting atop the pasta . My friends had chicken parmesean and a pasta with the homemade sausage. The sausage was the big hit of the evening. The fennel and other spices in the sausage make it a real standout. In fact, we ordered extra for the table. We each had a glass of chianti selected by the owner's daughter to complement our meal. Two desserts were ample for three people. We had the warm walnut cake and the lemoncello cake. Both were made in the restaurant. I happen to love the taste of lemoncello but the walnut cake got raves too. It was served warm with vanilla ice cream. The owner, who cooks in the kitchen, came out to make sure our meals met our expectations. We will be back to enjoy this excellent and reasonably priced Bistro.
We were greeted warmly when we arrived and were seated immediately.
The salad was one of the best we'd ever had.
I had the veal chop which was done to perfection.
My wife had a a pasta dish which she said was excellent but I wouldn't know because she didn't offer me any.
The wine list had a wide selection and was priced reasonably.
The dessert alone is worth going back for - but we plan to eat there again as soon as we can.
Pina's is the best/most authentic Italian cuisine you will find (I'm Italian). We've been coming here for years, have used Pina's to cater at both our home and business and no one can get enough. We love Pina's and the entire family.
Very busy and only one server. Food exceptional as always. Loved the food as did our entire party. Would request a table away from the kitchen but there isn’t one as it is a small venue. You know what to expect so you go for the wonderful food.
Love this family owned place. Always a great experience food is outstanding
Excellent as always, a wonderful small family restaurant with heart.
Pina's cooking just gets better with each year. An intimate place for dinner with excellent food and friendly, family service.
Excellent little gem. Don’t miss it!!!
This is a nice local establishment; authentic. The only thing disappointing was that we ordered red wine, and it was in a tiny white wine glass. That certainly detracts when you have to drink a Pinot Noir from that kind of glass. It was a decent pour, but the glass detracted from our drinking pleasure. Do I need to bring our own glasses?
Pina’s is always nice as you are family when you eat there. Very honest about menu and wine selections. Servers are very nice. They want you to be happy and feel at home, not in a pretentious way, but in a family way. We had sea bass, salmon, pasta, shrimp, lamb, sausage, tortellini, salad, etc. Shared bites. All of it was great.
A long time family favorite of ours, particularly when celebrating a special occasion, as we were.
I had the Veal Chop, which Mama always cooks the way I want. YUM!!
Great food and service. Came in for Valentine's Dinner. Special menu. Everything was wonderful. Can't wait to go back and try their regular menu.
Love this cozy little place. Food was outstanding. My wife had the gnocchi & Sausage, excellent. Spaghetti bolgenese, best ever, spectacular!
It was our first time as a family that lives locally within walking distance and went with our out of town grandmother. We all thought fantastic food and great experience! Will definitely be back in near future.
Tustin’s hidden gem for sure.
We LOVE LOVE LOVE Pina's Bistro! This was our first visit but can be guaranteed that every time we travel to So Cal from Michigan to visit family, we will be dining at this gem!!! Small and intimate. You feel as if you are walking into Nonna's home and sitting in her kitchen for the BEST homemade meal!!!!
Food was absolutely wonderful. I have a garlic allergy, but because they make everything fresh I was still able to enjoy a delicious linguine and calamari. My dining partner had the eggplant Parmesan with sausage and said it was great. I will definitely go back every time I visit this area.
Food was amazing and the service excellent. small restaurant but big in food taste.
We love coming to Pina's Bistro. It is casual and cozy. Food quality is excellent. We love their veal chop! Great service-no rush to order, time to chat. Be sure to make a reservation on weekends, as it is very small. Outdoor seating is available.
No trip to Orange County is complete without a visit to Pina's.
Awesome food, great atmosphere, perfect date spot.
Love this place. Visit every time I come to town. Pina and her daughter are wonderful! Every dish I have ever had DELICIOUS! Amazing dressing too
Our first time visit and we look forward to many more. Pina instantly recognized that we were newcomers and welcomed us and explained part of the menu. We had reservations and were immediately seated. Service was exceptional. Started off with homemade bread and leafy green salads with very tasty homemade dressing. My husband had veal piccata served with angle hair pasta, and I opted for the sausage and peppers. They make their own sausage so my husband ordered a side of it. You could cut it with your fork! Wonderful! The menu is varied and will please most palates. We very much enjoyed our evening and look forward to visiting again soon.
I can only say Pina’s has become my Go-to restaurant, not just for fantastic Italian food, but for any occasion regular or special.
This is s local jewel operated by very competent family management. Been there for years and we have been a regular over the last 7 years or so.
The wide range of menu selection of food is fresh, tasty and ample, with a “family style” friendly experience.
Love Pina and her daughters. They create an amazing family environment every night and Pina’s food is consistently delicious and yes, it’s truly Italian. She makes the best carpaccio in the world, including the best places in Italy. My to go place when at home.
I still see this as a hidden in plain sight gem. Penne with sausage & asparagus in tomato cream sauce rocks!
The experience of Pina’s is always good
Never have been disappointed
The food and Service is impeccable
