Using only the freshest and finest ingredients available in the marketplace Pina handcrafts all of her sausage, manicotti, cannelloni, lasagna, gnocchi, bread and sauces, not to mention her luxurious and sensual dessert offerings as well as all of her other exquisite dishes.
expect to experience exceptional quality traditional Italian cuisine created to meet the very highest standards of gastronomic excellence. Pina rigidly adheres to this standard and proudly proclaims – "I will not serve any dish that I would not be happy to eat myself."
Love the place - it's never fails to amaze us! The service, the quality of the food, the attention to detail, simply awesome - 10 out of 10 at any day!
After going there for almost 20 years - I ALWAYS love going there - love mama and her girls and have watched the grow and change (just like me) over the years. It is the best!!
Like being at the Chef’s table...excellent. A great meal, and excellent wine. Dessert a must.
Fresh and delicious sooooo good
We love Pinas. Amazing food and Pina is always so sweet and chats with us!
We hadn't been to Pina's in some time and declided to go for lu.ch. Ordered calamari and Margherita pizza. Food was bland and flavorless. Pizza crust was spongy. Hardly any topping. Pizza frim COSTCO would have been better! Far better, authentic choices elsewhere. We will not return.
When ever I’ve taken clients or friends to Pina’s, they’ve always been impressed and have said they’d return !
It’s such a joy to spend dinner with a family owned and operated restaurant. The food is always delicious.
We had a terrific meal of home cooked Italian food. We sat outside on a pleasant evening. Get the clams with spicy red sauce and dip the bread! It’s amazing!
Great atmosphere, service and just love the people there. Felt like I was at their home for a wonderful meal.
First time visiting based on a recommendation. We decided to sit inside vs. outside due to street noise. Inside is quite small, seating tight (our table for 2 was very small in size) and high noise level especially if a table for 6+ is used and can hear kitchen noise. They only serve a house salad, no Caesar for an Italian restaurant. Prices quite high. I ordered the Chicken Piccata - while portion was large, it was not tender and was bland in flavor - not pounded thin. Service was iffy - we never knew who our server was - maybe an off night.
Everything was great except the noise level indoors and no outside table for too. Way too noisy for someone that likes quiet dinner conversation.
My girlfriend and I were looking for an Italian restaurant to get dinner at when we found Pina’s on open table. Being from the east coast myself, good Italian food is hard to come around in California. After leaving the restaurant I was more then satisfied. The food was delicious and the service was great. We will definitely be revisiting to try some more of the menu.
Excellent place to enjoy food, service and meet the an excellent chef. Only wished the acoustic was better to absorb the many customers talking. It is on the upside of loud however I am recommending friends to go here and I will return as well. You won't be disappointed with this gem of italiano!! 🙂
Our favorite Italian restaurant outside of Italy! Everything homemade and delicious.
Small and quaint with delicious food! Try anything with the sausage. They make it in house and it’s amazing. Pina, herself, checks on you to make sure everything is to your liking.
I have been a guest of Pina's Bistro for many years. When my friends get together, we often meet there as it's a central location. Everything about this little restaurant is great. From the simplicity of the space to the family photos tucked in and around and most, to the fantastic Italian food which is all made from scratch and often times made to order for special diets, this restaurant is the best. There is nothing more fun than having Pina come out and greet you as you dine, especially if she sits down and has a glass of wine with your group! Thank you, Pina and your daughters, for 25 years of excellence!
Love Pina's. The owner/chef is a lovely friendly individual and the food is fantastic. We were all very happy with what we ordered.
Home cooked Italian cuisine. Doesn’t get any better than this!
We’ve been dining at Pina’s every occasion we can. Let’s say we dined 10 time. My favorite word to describe Pina’s is consistency. Our meals have been consistently 10 out of 10. Every time.
Amazing owner with amazing food
Always a wonderful experience. Fresh homemade scratch kitchen, timeless recipes and 3-generation family service make Pina's restaurant the gem of Orange County.
Last minute reservation and they were gracious to accommodate us. Salad very good and calamari appetizer to die for. I wasn't too keen on my entree and owner rushed to the table to check on it. I never said a word to anyone but somehow she knew. My wife and son both enjoyed the food
I will definitely repeat .
The food is outstanding and the service was friendly. All cooking is done to order and served hot and fresh. This is a little gem hiding in plain site.
Great food but kitchen was a little slow. Full house, so we expected this.
Nice little restaurant that make food from scratch. Their salad dressing was great. The Chicken Parmigiana was good. The marinara sauce on the pasta was a bit watery and lack seasoning. The freshly baked bread was great. Overall, it was a nice visit.
It is a great little spot. Refreshing change from chain restaurants. Love the food and the family. Real home made Italian. A rarity.
We love the food, family atmosphere here at Pina’s, highly recommended if you haven’t tried it! Homemade pasta and sauces, delicious desserts!
Excellent food and friendly efficient servers. I love this restaurant!!!
If you enjoy restaurants where the owner is cooking and the family is waiting on you, this is a great example. The food is traditional old school Italian. Excellent!
Pina's is clearly one of the best Italian restaurants in Orange County. Everything is made fresh to order not premade and reheated. If you like, Pina will come to the table and discuss how you would like your favorite dish prepared. The food is great. The portion size is just right. The service is good. The wine list meets my needs. This is the third time I have eaten here but the first time I have eaten outside. The outside dining area is protected by a clear plastic drape which gives you the feeling of roominess and freedom. All in all, a great dining experience. I'll be back again with friends and family.
Pina’s Bistro makes their food with Love! The ingredients are fresh, the meat choices excellent and the family is a treasure. Every meal is consistently excellent and you can tell each meal is made with a love for cooking and quality. It’s definitely a gem.
This small, intimate, friendly restaurant cooks and serves meals only as they are ordered so there may be a little wait until you get your food, but it's well worth it. Service was great, with the server taking a personal interest in helping us order. She didn't hover but was there when we needed something. The dinner salad was a romaine lettuce with finely chopped tomatoes in a creamy basil dressing (a family recipe attributed to grandma). For my entre, I ordered a delicious sea bass in a smooth, light, tomato cream sauce with homemade linguini. The fish was mild and moist, sitting atop the pasta . My friends had chicken parmesean and a pasta with the homemade sausage. The sausage was the big hit of the evening. The fennel and other spices in the sausage make it a real standout. In fact, we ordered extra for the table. We each had a glass of chianti selected by the owner's daughter to complement our meal. Two desserts were ample for three people. We had the warm walnut cake and the lemoncello cake. Both were made in the restaurant. I happen to love the taste of lemoncello but the walnut cake got raves too. It was served warm with vanilla ice cream. The owner, who cooks in the kitchen, came out to make sure our meals met our expectations. We will be back to enjoy this excellent and reasonably priced Bistro.
We were greeted warmly when we arrived and were seated immediately.
The salad was one of the best we'd ever had.
I had the veal chop which was done to perfection.
My wife had a a pasta dish which she said was excellent but I wouldn't know because she didn't offer me any.
The wine list had a wide selection and was priced reasonably.
The dessert alone is worth going back for - but we plan to eat there again as soon as we can.
Pina's is the best/most authentic Italian cuisine you will find (I'm Italian). We've been coming here for years, have used Pina's to cater at both our home and business and no one can get enough. We love Pina's and the entire family.
Very busy and only one server. Food exceptional as always. Loved the food as did our entire party. Would request a table away from the kitchen but there isn’t one as it is a small venue. You know what to expect so you go for the wonderful food.
Love this family owned place. Always a great experience food is outstanding
Excellent as always, a wonderful small family restaurant with heart.
