Unlimited mimosas (served by the pitcher if you ask kindly) and self serve beer on tap. Food (sizzling pork/beef and delicious fried rice) pairs very nicely with beer. All in all - a fantastic spot.

Only complaint is that there’s only one bathroom on the premises so be wary of the lines (or lack thereof) and take advantage of small windows of opportunity.

The Half Chicken Inasal was smaller than I thought it would be for a family-sized large plate, and it was only ok, but I loved the small plate I had! I don't remember the name, but it had egg in it, as well as anchovies, which I never thought I would like. Good service by the waiter, who was very knowledgeable with the menu and helping me and my friend choose what to eat for our first time there.

Enjoyed the sisig - really great flavors. The crispy pata was good. The banana turon had a bit too much cinnamon for my taste but the ice cream was very tasty. We will come back on a future visit to NYC.

Dustin took foods that were familiar and made them wholly new! P&K is a gem. I had wanted to come in for quite a while and I was not disappointed. While the menu is Southeast Asian based or inspired, it was not just another Thai/Pan-Asian. For example, the green papaya salad was familiar but had some undefinable difference that set it apart from those I'd eaten in the past. Every dish was wonderful and the flavor combinations worked no matter what we mixed and matched. I have a new favorite in NYC and it is Pig & Khao!

I cannot say enough about this place. The food was outstanding. Bold flavors and ample protions. The service was exceptional and not what you might expect for a neighborhood place. And the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. This is a place that you must stop by nad enoy. You will not be let down, especially if you love food.

Server forgot to put in order so took over 40 minutes to get food. He comp'd us a free dish but was too full by the time the last dishes came out that we couldn't eat anymore. Still love the food there but the service was mediocre as the server didn't apologize but rather said there were computer problems.

My second visit to Pig and Khao reinforced my love for this place ten-fold. The first time, we sat at the bar and loved watching the plates come together and Chef Leah Cohen add the final touches.

This time around, our group of five ordered two large plates (ribs and duck), three small (ramen, curry, and pork belly adobo), two sides of rice and the market vegetables, and we ended with two orders of turon for dessert. The portion sizes were perfect for our group. The drinks were delicious (Tamarind Hall, tequila plus tamarind?! An amazing combination!!) and the food was phenomenal. The filipino dishes were rich, the thai dishes, flavorful...

Such a great experience! I was running late for my reservation and had called them to let them notify. They were super nice about it and had no problem with it. In addition, our server, Richard, was great! Bottomless mimosas are a most as the mimosas were so great and he was always there to make sure we always got our share of refills. He was super funny and attentive to my friend and I. Definitely made us feel welcomed and made us want to come back.

As service was amazing, the good was great also. The open kitchen was also interesting and also gave the restaurant a great vibe. Overall, a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Everything we had was delicious. We had brunch and they have bottomless mimosas for $15: get the lychee flavor. We had the corned beef hash, papaya salad (my personal favorite), a ramen dish whose name I forget, the red curry where I simply wish they had more soft noodles in it, the sizzling sissig (sp?), and the doughnuts (which I didn't try because I was stuffed).

Pig and Khao was great, as always. We opted for the tasting menu and were completely satisfied - perfect amount of food, good variety, lots of great flavors, and a decent value.

We had a reservation and still had to wait about 15-20 minutes for a table, but the restaurant bought us a round of cocktails while we waited. Great service.

First time at this restaurant and I must say the food was delicious. I love filipino food and the ones we ordered did not disappoint. It's the familiar filipino dishes w/ a twist. :) The portion was good enough for two of us and it's very filling. We ordered the pork belly adobo with egg and also the pork sisig. For dessert w/ had the turon with salted caramel ice cream, so good.

This is a place I would recommend to my friends when they visit NYC and I look forward to going back in the future. One thing that can be added to the menu is veggie dishes. I did not see anything listed.

Great service, food came out quick and very tasteful and yum.

I Wish they would allow you to modify your options when ordering. I like my eggs scrambled but they refuse to have it scrambled which is unusually, but to each its own. I wont be returning the drinks were great I tried the peach mimosa ,the sausages was a bit salty but tasty and the garlic rice was ok.

We ate at Pig and Khao and had a lovely dinner. Everyone loved everything we ate. We ordered some small plates as a starter en a few big plates as a main. Really good Asian Fusion food. We eat Asian all the time, we're Indonesian ourselfs, and loved the whole meal!

Food was great as usual, however new staff may need some more training or assistance. Waiter was nice overall. But 15+ minutes for check then another half hour at card machine as the young lady did not know how to use machine. The she charged us the wrong amount thanked god we review check before we gave back signed receipts. Still love pig and khao food just service could've been better, it's usually is 🤷🏽‍♀️

Great place to eat. Good service and good food. Filipino food with a few changes, good changes. Sisig was delicious, only wish the portions for this dish and all dishes were slightly larger. Fully recommended for anyone or any occasion.

As a Filipino-American, I am thrilled to support a restaurant that serves Filipino food reimagined in a creative, modern, accessible way. There aren't many places that highlight this cuisine, which is a shame because there are many wonderful aspects to it, and as far as Asian cuisines go, it is usually underrepresented in the mainstream. So kudos to Chef Leah Cohen for bringing a great sampling of Filipino's finest fused with the ever-appealing and crowd-pleasing Thai flavors. Please stop by and patronize this Lower East Side gem if you're looking to try something new, exciting, surprising, and just damn good!
