The best place ever!!!
Food was spectacular as was the service. My primary complaint had to do with the venue’s choice of loud rap music throughout the hour we were there. Rap I don’t mind so much, but if they can pick rap music that doesn’t include the “f” word every other verse, I’d appreciate it. Further, our server wore a gray sweatshirt on which was imprinted “F*** Off Pay Now” which in addition to being offensive, no paying customer should have to see. Last was the lack of a finished wall behind the bench on which I was seated; my purse slipped off the bench behind me, and the wall was not only all broken up back there, it was dirty.
We went to brunch for my friends birthday and we had the most amazing time. The food is AMAZING, the staff is phenomenal, and together it made for one heck of a great experience!
I have been to P&K about six (6) times. I always enjoy the food, the service and the atmosphere. The food is fresh, spicy and delicious. This is the first time I drank something other than wine or beer, and I am glad to say, the drinks were great. Loved their tequila choices. Our waitress was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and patient. The duck was great, as was the octopus app !!! The only issue I had with the meal was our dessert: we ordered the very popular Halo-Halo and it just did not work for us. But otherwise, I will be back for more sizzling sisig, papaya salad and great music.
Amazing food, amazing service, amazing everything. It’s one of our favorite places to eat in the city.
One of the best meals I have had in a while. The service was great! We had such fantastic cocktails. I really can't say enough good things about this place.
Awesome food! Fun atmosphere
Food was unreal
amazing food! great service! everything is shared family style.
the team accommodated a much bigger group than our res AND the food was amazing! Huge thanks! Will be back soon!
We love P&K. The food is always on point.
Every. Single. Dish. Was Ah-May-zing. Do yourself a favor and get the whole fish. Even if you’re dining alone. Get it. You won’t be disappointed. But everything was delicious. And the service was great and we drank too much wine and grooved to the 90s hip hop. ❤️
The wait staff was exceptional, we were extremely hungry and they served us in minutes, everything was super fresh and the cocktails so good.
Great brunch deal! Amazing food & tasty drinks. Definitely going back.
Loved coming here! Great space, amazing food, super friendly service! I felt the entrees were slightly too small but I was with 3 other people, think would order the same amount of food (4 entrees) for 2 people and would be stuffed by the end. As it was, felt satisfied but also could've eaten more (and wanted to because again, the food was incredible)!!
Had really high expectations going in so was somewhat disappointed with the meal. It was good but not great. We were also very put off by all the fruit flies swarming around - gross!
Food was below average quality. There are way better and cheaper options for similar cuisine.
Been here a few times. The food is always solid. Be prepared, the food, at least what we ordered, is on the spicy side but oh so good. The one ding I experienced this time was a wait staff that didn't seem into us at all. we were a party of 3 sitting at a table for 2, we ordered a lot of food and 3 bottles of wine. it was an early dinner so the table next to us was empty and was so for our whole stay. the staff seemed to have a problem with us using the other table to hold our plates which I thought was odd. A big peev that they did was send us the bill without asking if we wanted dessert. We did and ordered 2!!
that said, Id still go back, I love chef Leah and her food!!!
Awesome food and service, but noise levels are hard to deal with.
Delicious as always! We did the tasting menu. Our server was so awesome. The meal wasn’t over until we were completely stuffed. Everything was so tasty and fresh. I was sad they no longer have the pork jowl Brussels sprouts but if we made enough noise about it, maybe they’ll bring it back. Water was always replenished and clean plates were offered. The food was and always will be delicious and amazing. Love returning here!
The sizzling Sisig/pork head was amazing, the Chilli pan mee was good , however the braised red curry beef was a bit over sweet for my palate
The food is always amazing, the chef’s tasting was more than worth the price!
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too! Always have to go there when I visit NY, the food is just amazing!
Came for brunch with 7 friends, made reservations 2 weeks in advance and had to add an 8th person 7 days in advance and they did their best to accommodate that. The party was split, not really sure why. Everything we ordered was delicious but the servers were slow to come around, made mistakes in who got what, someone who can’t eat pork for religious reasons was given a pork dish, and were very rude. If I pay for bottomless mimosas, I expect when we request a pitcher, for us to receive it. Especially if it is still within our time limit. If I ask a server what a certain dish is, I expect them to know. All in all an OK experience, best to be in the back room I suppose. Also, how can you run out of mimosas 1 hour before close? Poor form.
Great food, highly professional and energetic service.
Incredible food with exquisite flavors that keep delivering consistently.
This place is pretty highly rated across the board, and we love Thai food, so we were pretty surprised that the chef's tasting menu was so ... terrible. The tasting menu is $55 per person and you get a lot of food for that price, but it was an overload of fried food that generally tasted pretty bad... like something you'd get from a dive bar. The service was good though and the ambience wasn't bad -- generally well suited for mid-20 year olds looking for some quick grub before hitting the club. I would add that the food around us looked pretty good. I won't be back but if you are planning to go - avoid the tasting menu!
It’s my favorite the duck is divine. If you like friend rice try this the fry the rice in duck fat.
This is one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We got the five course tasting menu and it did not disappoint!
It took them 45 mins for steak and eggs and they don’t serve alcohol after 3:30 PM even though they advertise 2 hours of unlimited mimosas (cut off 4:00 PM) (we got there at 2:00 PM).
Delicious food and outstanding staff. Love to see a restaurant where the team all knows what they should be doing and work well together. Very impressive. Will make this a regular place and recommend to anyone who will listen!!
Honestly some of the best food in the city. The drinks were great and the playlist was perfect.
Crowded. Loud. Excellent tasty food. I will be back!
AMAZING service and the food was incredible. I would eat here every weekend if I could. By far one of the best brunches in New York.
Food was good and creative yet not outstanding (appetizer was the best). Table was sticky and service was so-so. Good hype place for the young crowd and ambiance is vibrant & artsy.
Still pretty good, but super disappointing that they took one of the best items off the menu: no more Brussels sprouts with pork jowl. Why on earth? That dish alone made the restaurant a destination for so many people, and I’m not sure the rest of the food is enough to draw me back. Sirloin steak was pretty good, nicely rare, but sauce needs better balance. Octopus also pretty good with nice watercress for bitter contrast. Ambiance in back room is better for noise level, but lacks charm. Service was good.
I was excited to visit Pig and Khao for Restaurant Week but the food unfortunately did not live up to the hype. There were only two dishes I enjoyed from the four-course prix fixe menu: the Coconut Rice and the Green Papaya Salad. The Coconut Rice is some of the best I have ever had and I loved it a lot, and the Green Papaya Salad had an enjoyable acidity. But the rest of the meal was extremely disappointing. The Whole Fried Fish was inedible and I only managed a few bites before I gave up due to the saltiness. The Khao Soi (red curry with egg noodles) was underwhelming. I ordered the Halo-Halo for dessert and it was both soupy and chunky with too much ice at the bottom. Overall, I would not recommend.
It was almost impossible to have a normal-level conversation with my 2 friends because we had to SHOUT OVER THE RIDICULOUSLY LOUD MUSIC. We get you want higher turnover during brunch for the bottomless mimosas but the MUSIC WAS DEAFENING AND WE HAD TO SHOUT AT EACH OTHER OVER A VERY SMALL TABLE. I COULDN'T EVEN HEAR MY FRIEND'S CONVERSATION RIGHT NEXT TO ME.
Came in because it was listed on restaurant. Very impressive many south Asian flavors. If you want something new and packed with flavor this is your place. Love the large quick portions.
