Listen. If you want authentic, delicious, fresh thai food, this is the place for you. The flavors explode in your mouth, and every bite is better than the next. GO HERE OR GO HOME.

Really enjoyed dinner here! The small plates are really not that small, 3 among 2 people was more than enough. The coconut rice was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. I went early so it wasn't that loud, but I suspect it gets a bit hard to hear each other when the restaurant is packed.

Food was ok but their service can use a lot of improvement. The guy at the door looked annoyed when we entered. Didnt say hello and just looked at us like we were bothering him. When I told him I had reservations he took us to our table still looking quite annoyed. I understand people have their off days but from reading some of the other comments it seems like their bad service is a common theme. Honestly their food is not worth the bad service.

Casual and delicious food, best for friends hanging out and looking to eat something with great quality but without pretensions.

The food was delicious and really unique. The coconut rice was great. However the service was poor at times and a glass slipped off our table and broke because the table was slanted and they made us feel very uncomfortable about it.

Great spot on the lower east side. Plates are meant to be shared which allowed us to try several dishes. The team was lovely and helpful explaining the dishes. The Green Papaya Salad was fresh and delicious. YOU MUST TRY THE PORK JOWL. It was tasty, yummy, fun and right amount of spice. Pork Belly Adobo was spicier (I like spice but someone with us prefers less spice) and they loved it noting it was the proper heat vs. some thai places that just add too much vs. flavoring! We also enjoy the Sizzling Sisig - amazing as well - You must try this dish too. We loved it. The coconut rice helped balance the spice for our less-spicy inclined friend! I suggest you ask for a glass of the white mineral wine - it was ice cold perfection after a long week. I've wanted to go here for about a year and glad I finally made it! Looking forward to my next dinner here.

Absolutely fabulous dinner. Every piece of food was interesting and delicious. I do wish they offered their tasting menu on weekends. Pro tip: order the coconut rice. It's to die for.

This place is awesome. The food was de-lish-ous and I would give 10 stars for the service if I could. Seriously, the folks who were servin it up were chill and on top of everything. I was there with my bae for her bday and it made it all the more magical. We felt held<3

Focus on the small plates (not that small btw) vs the main course items

Coconut rice is great

Front of room lacks ventilation so your clothes will smell

Staff is a bit “too cool”

Dont get their tasting menu unless you want to taste disappointment and regret across 5 of the most mediocre dishes ever emulated. Nothing new here. Just overpriced and under delivered Asian classics. All to the ridiculously loud top 40 radio in the background. Fine dining.

The food was fantastic - especially liked the duck and noodlers. I wouldn't go too late as they will rush you out. We sat at 9pm and by 945 last call from bar and kitchen and check was dropped while we were still eating at around 10pm.

Staff were lovely and the food was sensational! We came for brunch on a very rainy Mother's Day (hours before our reservation, as an outdoor tour nearby was cancelled) and the hostess was inviting and accommodating. Three of us split several dishes, each delicious and unique. I would come back any time.

Amazing food! Especially liked the Khao Soi. Service was impeccable - they had 3 options for the Sunday brunch mimosas - tried out the mango and the lychee, both were great. The flavor here is great.

Our hostess/waitress was outstanding. She greeted us with a smile, kept us updated on our food, had great suggestions, and ensured we were happy, full, and taken care of. The food came out quickly and was outstanding. We did the tasting menu and added on the pork belly adobo. We waddled our way out after feasting on the endless plates of goodness. Such a great deal for top notch food and service.

While I do think the food is delicious, I have been spoiled by all the cheap ethnic food in NYC. There are much better deals in the outer boroughs. It’s also quite crowded and noisy so be prepared to spend the night yelling at your dining companions.

We loved Pig and Khao -- the food was fantastic. We like really spicy food, so the waiter recommended a few dishes, and they delivered! Cocktails were great too. Very lively place -- crowded with fun music playing. Worth going out of your way for, even if you're not in the neighborhood. We will definitely be back!!

I have eaten here many many times. Food was excellent as always. But brought friends from out of town and our waitress couldn't have been more rude. Complete with repeated eye rolling everytime we ordered something and throwing our bill on the table as she walked by before we even asked for it. It was actually embarrassing since I had talked the restaurant up so much.

this is one of my favorite place . to eat in NYC so my review is probably a little biased. Having said that I have brought many friends to Pig and Khao and they all loved it. P&K never disappoints. Love the green papaya salad!! order it every time. NO doubt I'll be back again soon... with more friends of course.

Thanks again!
