Welcome to Pietro’s of Lodi, a newly renovated, modern Italian restaurant that serves rich flavors and authentic cuisine. Since 1957 the proud family tradition of serving great food lives on with favorites like hand-tossed wood-fired pizza, homemade ravioli, and authentic minestrone with homemade bread. We offer dishes such as Veal Saltimbocca, Cioppino and Eggplant Parmigiana. The menu is also complimented with a Catch of the Day special and our Italian Dinner Party. Our homemade desserts of cannoli, tiramisu and biscotti are made fresh daily. The final authentic touch is our on-site herb and vegetable garden patio where one experiences the true fresh taste from farm to fork. It gives one the feel of a "meal with mama" on Sunday afternoon in Italy! Come and meet the owners Jim and Annette Murdaca personally, as Chef Pietro Murdaca continues the family tradition from the kitchen.

The lunch meal was great. We split the prawn Pietro salad and a prosciutto pizza with added mushrooms and truffle oil! We also split a bottle of Sorell’s Primitivo wine! Everything was spectacular. Love this little gem in Lodi!!! Love it.

The food was excellent. The service was great. Everything was just wonderful. I had 4 children with me and the waitress took her time to talk each of them and get their order.

I have been going to Pietro' for almost 30 year's now. I moved out of the area some time ago to an area that doesn't have a good Italian food place. So my wife was looking at reviews not knowing of Pietro's and suggested we dine there. I let her know of my past experience and we decided to book a hotel outside of town as well as a reservation. I was pleasantly surprise to see all of the renovations and the open kitchen. The food was good as good as I remembered it.
The atmosphere was even better than I had remembered it from my last visit 10 years earlier. The highlight of our evening was seeing Ms. Annette. She look as she had the first time I met her. Just a lovely woman. She made sure we had one of her famous canoli's.
We will be back for sure, but next time we will bring the entire family.

Thank you Annette for making our date night so special.

The food was exceptional with a large variety to choose from. Even though the restaurant was packed the service was excellent. The service staff was friendly and humorous. The owner came to each table greeting the patrons like old friends. It is amazing to see all the vegetables and herbs that are grown onsite. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We were there for Vaentine's Day and our engagement anniversary. We messed up the time for our reservations but they quickly accommodated us. Food was excellent! Nice atmosphere. Easily recommend the restaurant.

We went for the first time for Valentine’s Day. There was a special menu and we tried one of each of the pastas. They were all delicious however, the gnocchi was exceptional. Will definitely be going back.

The food is always incredible great. And the entire staff is friendly and helpfully they are all busy and polite. the remodle last year is stunning. And the noise level was way down this year's Valentine's dinner. T Ray was not there.

Wasn’t told at time of reservation that it was a special set menu for Valentines. The usual menu items were not available. We asked if we could substitute vegetables or salad for the potatoes and were told NO! Very unfriendly and not accomdating. Would have left but where do you get another reservation on Valentine’s Day. When were leaving there was a person who wanted to do take out and he was told there wasn’t any take out today, without explanation. The special I tems menu was crazy expensive. Food was good but not worth the $50.00 a plate.

We went to Pietro's for Valentine's Day and had a great meal. I had the charred filet mignon with fingerling potatoes and it was very tender and tasteful. I did think the $52 cost was a little excessive for the amount of food on this cast iron seared pan especially since the soup or salad was an additional cost. For $52, I would expect a salad as part of that $52 cost.

The service was good, but the waitress told us they had a well stocked bar so we could order anything. My wife asked for a Mai Tai, but the waitress came back and told her they did not have any pineapple juice. What kind of "well-stocked" bar does not carry pineapple juice so that was a disappointment. Had they been able to make her the drink she wanted, I would have rated them "outstanding" for overall service.

I've had dinner at this restaurant several times and their food is always very good. On just a few occasions have we had a less than efficient waiter/waitress, but on this occasion, two different waitresses kept making sure we had what we needed.

A little rough and gruff at the reception desk followed by slow service. The soup and salad were good, but the shrimp scampi was lacking in both the amount of shrimp and garlic although the mushrooms were tasty. We have eaten here several times before, but will wait a while before returning. It was an expensive but not memorable Valentine's Day lunch.

Fantastic! The food and the service was absolutely excellent we could hear nothing but great comments from those seated around us. It seems that everyone there could not wait to come back again, even if it was not a special occasion.

Excellent service. Greeted immediately. Friendly staff, tasty authentic Italian food. The bread is freashly made and delicious if you love carbs 😊.
