About Pietro's Italian Restaurant
Welcome to Pietro’s of Lodi, a newly renovated, modern Italian restaurant that serves rich flavors and authentic cuisine. Since 1957 the proud family tradition of serving great food lives on with favorites like hand-tossed wood-fired pizza, homemade ravioli, and authentic minestrone with homemade bread. We offer dishes such as Veal Saltimbocca, Cioppino and Eggplant Parmigiana. The menu is also complimented with a Catch of the Day special and our Italian Dinner Party. Our homemade desserts of cannoli, tiramisu and biscotti are made fresh daily. The final authentic touch is our on-site herb and vegetable garden patio where one experiences the true fresh taste from farm to fork. It gives one the feel of a "meal with mama" on Sunday afternoon in Italy! Come and meet the owners Jim and Annette Murdaca personally, as Chef Pietro Murdaca continues the family tradition from the kitchen.

Pietro's Italian Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely awesome. The service, food, and atmosphere is great. That "welcome to my kitchen feeling" combined with the quality of the food makes for a great experience not to mention dining pleasure. The family has done a great job in remodeling the restaurant by incorporating an open environment, and at the same time keeping with their warm and friendly welcoming to each individual patron. Just the best! Keep it going Peter...You're doing a great job continuing your family tradition.
Family Owners in attendance, keeping an eye on everything.
Really nice remodel.Everything is new. Open Kitchen & Italian Oven. Nice Ambiance.
A little pricey. Substantial portions, nice presentation.
Local, good quality Wines, Olive Oil & Balsamic Vinegar.
Pasta with clams, good flavor, Chewy Clams. Won't order that one again.
Calimari Steaks, Lightly breaded, good flavors, more than a little Chewy! Won't get that one again either.
Next time I'll go with the Pork Chop I had on a previous visit, Awesome!
Bruschetta was very good, fresh tomatoes, so tasty oil & Balsamic!
Ministroni, very good, with no pasta in it, my kind.
The small glasses of wine, at $10 each, not much value there, this is Lodi!
The Tiramisu... The BEST EVER!
Our dinner for 2 with 2 glasses of wine... $100...
We'll return, most of the food was good. Very good service.
Our server, Amanda, was very nice, efficient, helpful.
We came for New Year's Eve and were so glad we made reservations or we wouldn't have been able to be seated. What a charming little piece of Italy with its own organic gardens with fountains and lemon trees as we entered and peeked into the patio at the rear
Even though it was so busy they were gracious and made us feel very welcome. We were delighted to find they seated us at a table in the back overlooking the patio. We want to return in the summer and have lunch on the patio.
Our food was very good, as was the wine from a local vineyard. I'm not a gourmet but I know it was great. Was in Italy last summer and felt as if I were back. Very authentic and not terribly expensive. The servers, Jazmine and her team, were wonderful.
It's one of our favorite restaurants....It's a TRADITION every New Years Eve. Unfortunately, the service was below par. There were four or us, and they were upset we asked for two sep checks. The service did not bring the bread initially, we had to ask for it, then when our bread dish was empty we asked for additional, BUT NEVER GOT IT. The food was delic, but husband did not get his favorite spaghetti, as they had a SPECIAL menu.
Always enjoy coming here. Food and service are always great! Only thing I would recommend would be some more soace between the chairs at the tables along the front windows. My wife couldnt enjoy her meal because the rude guy sitting behind her keep bumping into her during the meal.
Overall, the menu didn't seem too interesting. So I chose cioppino and my wife the petralesole special. It turned out that the cioppino was to die for not traditional but the best I've ever had The petralsole was excellent with very savory red peppers. I was so sated I could not possibly try dessert, but I suspect it would have been deligh
