It was our wedding anniversary and they were so thoughtful with a complementary glass of sparkling wine. The ambiance was romantic, the service was great and the good was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Noted on the reservation that it was my girlfriends birthday and I wanted it to be a special occasion. Also mentioned it to the busser, just in case the communication slipped between the hostess and server. We never received the happy birthday plate since we didn't order dessert (mother in law is diabetic and I didn't want any) and the server told us that since we didn't order dessert my girlfriend could blow the candle out that was on our table (this really rubbed me the wrong way). That means that the server knew about it, yet chose not to bring us out anything, not sure if she was trying to make a statement or make us feel cheap for not buying a dessert. I was pretty disappointed with this decision and it put a damper over the entire experience. Appetizers run about $18 average and entrees are in the $45 range.

Arrived a little early. Got a seat at the downstairs bar. Had a couple of rum punches. Not too sweet, not too acid.... just right. The rum topper was a 23 year old dark one.
Then upstairs for dinner... Had a dozen oysters, three different varieties. A watermelon salad with candied pistachios and a blueberry vinaigrette... and cocoa shavings :)

Two scallops and then a hogfish for the entree. A 2015 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay paired well with the food.

Back downstairs for an old fashioned and some time on the porch. The bartender infuses his bourbon with cherries to make the drinks. Great... No bitters...

We went to Pierre's for our anniversary. We had never been before even though we are locals. I was really pleased with the location and beautiful building! It is a gorgeous place! The wait staff was friendly and competent. The food was elegantly served and delicious! My husband had the seafood curry with was served in a half a coconut with an orchid. It was delicious. I had the bison tenderloin special which was just really great. We went outside after dinner and watched the sunset over the white sand/palm treed backyard. So romantic! I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning!

We had a great celebratory meal at Pierre's. It was everything I expected it to be. However, it was a very humid evening and I suggest that Pierre's install portable air conditioning devices or, at least, fans for the outdoor veranda seating area. We wanted to take in the view, which is why we chose to sit outside instead of inside. The perspiration was running down my face as I was enjoying my meal!

Otherwise, everything was perfect.

We have frequented Pierre's a number of times and once again found the food, service and atmosphere to be excellent. I know that they have changed managers a number of times in recent years but they seem to have it all figured out. Its the best restaurant in Islamarada, in our opinion.

Visited the keys for a night. Had one meal. It was marvelous.

The ingredients were authentic, fresh and wholesome. The preparation was superb. Not over-salted, over-cooked or over-processed.

A world class meal, in a unique and clean environment.

Beautiful setting on the bay with spectacular view from balcony sitting.
Nicely done interior with comfy lounge sitting downstairs.
Rest of the experience rather so so and certainly not to the standards of what I consider " fine cuisine".
Service was relatively quick and neutral which I like with good knowledge of the specials, of course it probably helps that place was empty on that night .
Wine list extensive and as you expect well overpriced.
Given limited number of menu items you should not need help of sommelier.
Menu that we had is not the same that is presented here on Open Table.
We did not order appetizers, there is no salad served with dinner.
Overaged dinner rolls are served:)
Main dish of Brick Chicken was flavor free, except for over salted skin.
Grouper was as good as you would find in any fish stand in Keys.
Veggies were well cooked but not transformed in any way.
Overall ok food in nice setting but if you are looking for fine dining look somewhere else.

Maybe it was an off night but there was loud thumping music coming from the nearly empty bar downstairs which ruined the otherwise elegant ambience. No apologies offered fior the noise. Good food, prices a bit on the high side. It may be more romantic on quieter evenings

Meal was fabulous. Had scallops and salmon appetizer. Both delicious. Could have eaten the scallops for my meal with a salad. We had the seafood curry and the filet mignon for our meals. Both were delicious. View was great. We had a late Thursday evening reservation and it was quiet and lovely. Highly recommend.

Very good. Portions very small, and we are not big eaters. For example, the stone crab appetizer ($18) consisted of one. Great restaurant if cost is not a concern.

Pierre's is absolutely beautiful in a stunning setting. The bar is so welcoming and sophisticated and the dining room is beautiful with a lovely balcony overlooking the bay with excellent sunset views. The meal was not anything special, which was a bit disappointing,
with the exception being the key lime pie was the best we had in the Keyes!

I was rather disappointed with this restaurant. I wanted a reservation for 7:00 or 7:30, but Open Table listed 6:15 as the only available time. When we arrived, we noticed that we were the only people dining inside or outside the restaurant. At approximately 7:00, a few guests started to arrive. Perhaps 4 or 5 tables were taken on the porch. NO ONE ever sat inside during our entire dining period. I really don't understand why a later time wasn't available. It's somewhat awkward eating in an empty restaurant. (The reason for one star for ambiance).
For a high end restaurant, the service lacked professionalism. I ordered a side of asparagus which wasn't put into the kitchen, so I just cancelled it not wishing to eat the asparagus after my entree was completed. The waitress said our Chardonnay was from New Zealand ( we checked the label and it was from California). All in all, disappointing and not at all memorable.

Wouldn't recommend this restaurant for the prices charged. Just ok.

We had a great time. Reservation was at 9:00 pm and we got there at 7:00 pm watched the sunset and had drinks at the Morada Bay beach bar right next door. After that we walked to Pierre's and had a great dinner experience. Ordered the martha's vineyard oysters to share as an appetizer and for main dishes we had the curry and veal chop both great choices and sorbets for desert. Thought pricing was very steep.

We arrived at Pierre's a little early and were able to be seated as I requested on the porch. It was just before sunset and the view from the porch is spectacular. Our server, Emily, was prompt in greeting us and looking to our wishes. She did not rush us at any point and kept checking to make sure everything was to our liking. Several people had recommended Pierre's to us and we will be sure to add our recommendation as well.

Very disappointing, the fish was barely edible. We informed the waited as we left that the fish was not fresh. He denied that was possible. We did not ask for money back and consider that this was adding insult to injury. In hine-sight we should have sent it back to the kitchen after the first bite.

The place and food is awesome, but since they started renting half of the restaurant for weddings/events, the service is not the same. We experienced delays, one of the plates was cold and the table I had requested outside was not honored because they had a lot less tables since there was lot of space dedicated to the wedding. All in all it is still one of my favorite restaurants at the Keys, but this last visit was not the same.

Pierre's is a beautiful spot for drinks and/or dinner at sunset. The appetizers are delicious and entrees are creative and very fresh...but it is the excellent service that sets Pierre's apart from other Islamorada eateries. Ryan and Grace in the bar and the waitstaff are impressive, attentive, and extremely well informed. It's their personalities and the absolutely breathtaking sunset location that makes Pierre's stand out.
