My husband loved his starter ( scallops) and his entree (Branzino) but I opted for the heirloom tomato salad and burrata followed by lamb shank. The tomatoes were acidic in taste and the burrata was far from fresh. For $24 I expect an appetizer to be first rate. The lamb shank was ok but under seasoned and lacking in taste. Having spent over $200 for the meal I was disappointed and ate barely half of both portions.
Fine dining experience in the Keys, the seafood curry is not what you would expect from a curry and is really excellent. The place itself is a postcard, hard to beat this ambiance. Service is not at the level expected for this type of restaurants but this is a challenge to manage a high scale service in the Keys I guess
Amazing!! Beautiful place!!
Even though the location was great and the food surprisingly good for a restaurant in hand keys. Service was mediocre at best. We requested a table outside yet hostess stated they were all booked and reserve. However throughout our dinner experience there’re were visible empty tables outside. The place was very slow which it doesn’t explain the grueling slow service. Even though the location was nice and the view fantastic doubtful we will be back or recommend it to anyone. Overpriced and snobby.
We had a wonderful valentines dinner . Service was superb , food was wonderful ! Great evening !!
A warm, refined charm pervade this casual Coastal-Chic waterfront beauty. Lush landscaping and white sands buffer this two-story gem as open air bay breezes create a relaxed and easy atmosphere perfect for leaving all worries behind.
Fantastic location and ambience while sitting outside- perfect romantic spot for our early Valentine’s Day dinner. Fantastic food, great service. Highly recommend it.
Went for 20 year anniversary- it was so beautiful there, impeccable service, delicious food and wine
It is not our first time to the restaurant. Unfortunately we believe that the chef was not present last Monday. My wife had a very salty steak served over french fries. A covered steak with gravy over french fries is not a nice presentation and softened the fries!. I had a lamb shank overcooked with burned skin! The octopus starter was very good but I had to ask twice to get some baguette! service was very slow and only four tables were busy! My red wine by the glass from an opened bottle was returned being bad and warm.
I really need an explanation because it is the first time we had a bad experience at Pierre's.
We absolutely love Pierre's. This is a must on our things to do in the Keys. We love the Morado Bay Beach Cafe next door for a drink and small bite, then dinner at Piere's. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. Incredible grounds to walk around on and to catch a gorgeous Florida Sunset!
Pierre’s is always great! Food is delicious and service is excellent. We love the subdued atmosphere and “feeling” of the surroundings. We always make a point to eat here when we are in the Keys!
The bartender was great. The dining experience and food was amazing.
Food and service was excellent. Perfect ambience for a romantic dinner
Pierre’s is a gourmet food lovers find. Excellent food in an elegant old-Southern building. Would be the perfect place for a wedding or a special occasion, as well as for anyone in search of a fine meal.
Fantastic anniversary date
This is an experience in fine dining From the minute you walk in the door till the minute you leave, the food, the service, the view, the grounds, everything is perfect!
Our experience at Pierre's Restaurant was great. The salads were exceptional and the fish was fresh and prepared and presented very nicely. The staff was very good. Dining on the veranda was charming.
Fabulous food, service and ambience. Great location and sunset. We had dinner for 3 and booked a table for 10 when we are back in January.
Tasty food and interesting wine list
The best, go for sunset , drinks and dinner on second floor. Great food , srervice and what a view.
Our waitress was awesome! Prompt with service very friendly and the food is always amazing!
It was our wedding anniversary and they were so thoughtful with a complementary glass of sparkling wine. The ambiance was romantic, the service was great and the good was amazing. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion.
Excellent service and scrumptious food in a beautiful setting!
Noted on the reservation that it was my girlfriends birthday and I wanted it to be a special occasion. Also mentioned it to the busser, just in case the communication slipped between the hostess and server. We never received the happy birthday plate since we didn't order dessert (mother in law is diabetic and I didn't want any) and the server told us that since we didn't order dessert my girlfriend could blow the candle out that was on our table (this really rubbed me the wrong way). That means that the server knew about it, yet chose not to bring us out anything, not sure if she was trying to make a statement or make us feel cheap for not buying a dessert. I was pretty disappointed with this decision and it put a damper over the entire experience. Appetizers run about $18 average and entrees are in the $45 range.
Arrived a little early. Got a seat at the downstairs bar. Had a couple of rum punches. Not too sweet, not too acid.... just right. The rum topper was a 23 year old dark one.
Then upstairs for dinner... Had a dozen oysters, three different varieties. A watermelon salad with candied pistachios and a blueberry vinaigrette... and cocoa shavings :)
Two scallops and then a hogfish for the entree. A 2015 Rombauer Carneros Chardonnay paired well with the food.
Back downstairs for an old fashioned and some time on the porch. The bartender infuses his bourbon with cherries to make the drinks. Great... No bitters...
We went to Pierre's for our anniversary. We had never been before even though we are locals. I was really pleased with the location and beautiful building! It is a gorgeous place! The wait staff was friendly and competent. The food was elegantly served and delicious! My husband had the seafood curry with was served in a half a coconut with an orchid. It was delicious. I had the bison tenderloin special which was just really great. We went outside after dinner and watched the sunset over the white sand/palm treed backyard. So romantic! I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning!
This is a gorgeous property that is impeccably maintained. It was a delight to visit. Our meal and service were perfect, as was the sunset view. Wonderful place we will visit again.
We had a great celebratory meal at Pierre's. It was everything I expected it to be. However, it was a very humid evening and I suggest that Pierre's install portable air conditioning devices or, at least, fans for the outdoor veranda seating area. We wanted to take in the view, which is why we chose to sit outside instead of inside. The perspiration was running down my face as I was enjoying my meal!
Otherwise, everything was perfect.
The food is amazing and the Chef came out table side. His white chocolate brownie OMG to die for.
