You will eat well and feel at home. Service was friendly and helpful.
Great service here...servers are knowledgeable and personable. The caesar salad had a bit too much dressing. ...the small is my idea of large. The entrees were excellent and every plate was nearly licked clean. The big issue was the bread..almost soggy in its softness and tasteless. A rustic crusty Italian bread is needed to mop up the tasty sauces.
We had a large group and the waitress got it right.
Loved that we weren't rushed out. 3 hour dinner
We had a wonderful time. Food was great but the only downfall is an Italian Restaurant that does not offer meatballs!
My family and I went to Piero's in Huntingdon Valley for my birthday. It was our first time there but we had gone on the recommendation of some friends. We were very pleased with our dinner, they had a nice selection on their menu and we found the food to be delicious and the portions very filling. The restaurant is moderately priced and you can bring your own wine which helps keep the price down. Would definitely recommend and will surely be returning for more.
The food and service were great but we were seated in the banquet room where a birthday party was in progress. The noise level was very high during the party.
It is my normal Friday night go to restaurant. BYOB and good prices. You can't go wrong.
Our first visit and a definate go back to place! Food was great and service was wonderful!!
Great Valentine's Day dinner!
We went on a holiday and was fairly busy. Staff was very friendly as always. The food as always is good but uneven. This is a neighborhood small restaurant. Do not expect gourmet food or fancy atmosphere. It is def. a big step above Maggio's or Olive Garden. The problem always seems to be the sauces and heavy hand with olive oil. I had a chicken dish sort of a chicken lasagne. It was good but there was a sour taste in the sauce, perhaps an herb that made this dish good but never great. My wife's steak was very tender with good flavor. In the past I have had veal parm. there . It was terrible, horrible sauce. The veal piccata is good when the chef backs up on the oil. Pizzas are yummy. All in all relaxed atmosphere , you just have to know WHAT to stay away from. Desserts generally very good,as are the breads and salads.
Had a wonderful early valentine's dinner. Crab cakes and tilapia were delicious. Started with their wonderful house salad.
Good but not great ,will give another try
Our food as always was delicious. Our server Caitlin was amazing. I have personally had her as a server before and I would request her again. She was attentive to our group the entire time. Thanks as always! We had a wonderful time.
Simply put, come and enjoy. You will not be disappointed. And, BYOB
Food was good. Service was great. Our waitress was awesome.
Friends of ours asked to meet us at Piero's and we are glad they did. As others commented it did take a little long for our dinner, but it was worth the wait. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was hot and delicious. We were impressed with our soup, salads and appys to start followed by freshly prepared nice presentations for our main courses. Would recommend. Definitely a keeper.
It was delicious , hard to put into words. All of the food was outstanding.
used to be a favorite. last 2 visits have been disappointing regarding the food. has there been a change in the kitchen?
We had a nice Christmas Eve dinner experience, but did not consider the restaurant to be exceptional. Our 3-person group found the Italian food was rather mundane, although the eggplant parmesan and salads were very good. Fairly subdued lighting and an above average atmosphere place Piero's above some other typical Italian restaurants, but the food was nothing special. Food prices were fair. I might recommend the restaurant to others, with reservations about the pedestrian food.
This was our first visit to Piero's. We live in the township, but did even know they existed until they came up in an Open Table search. Our party of four went there for a special Christmas Eve dinner. While this is a BYOB, we still spent about $250. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere enjoyable up until about 6pm, when it became much more crowded and noisy (we were there from 5:20 - 7:20.) Two of us raved about our meals (Zuppa de Pesce and Chicken Parm). The other two order "Stuffed" Salmon (at $32 per entre) and were a bit idsappointed. It was not prepared as described on the special Christmas Eve Menu, and came slightly over cooked and dried out. This could have been overcome with more sauce, but they scrimped on it. All else was good, especially the lobster ravioli, which we did as a pasta course for the table.
We dined here when they first opened and it was fabulous. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience this time. The menu has changed and what we had tasted mediocore and not worth the cost. Very disapointed. Our waitress was very good - very friendly and on the ball. Love the location and atmosphere.
Very nice atmosphere for a pleasant evening of fine dining in a BYOB restaurant. Service was friendly, helpful and offered well informed suggestions and information on the menu. The appetizer and the serving sizes were better than average, tasted great and served timely direct from the chef and to complete the dinner, the desserts were very good. In general, we had a very nice experience and will return again.
We eat here once or twice a month, it is always great. Never had a bad meal or service at this place.
Service awful. Food, prices and location good. Over one and one half hours to receive food.
Three of us went to Piero's for Thanksgiving dinner, so I cannot comment on their regular menu or make any other type of recommendation. Their selections for Thanksgiving were diverse, including a traditional turkey dinner. My companions had it, and thought it was excellent. I had chicken with crabmeat, and it was quite good. I will definitely try Piero's again on a non-holiday as I think it's worth a try. Our waitress was excellent -- very pleasant and efficient.
I don't know if it is fair to rate a restaurant on Thanksgiving. The menu was wonderful to read. There were many things that I wanted to taste! It certainly wasn't diner food! We both chose the one Italian item that was on the menu. It looked ordinary but was delicious. We would like to return and see what else the inspired chef has to offer.
We had a delicious family Thasnksgiving dinner. Our srver was terrific. They made us so comfortable. Food was terrific
We are regular diners at Pieros and we have never been disappointed .
We had a business lunch there and it was terrific. We stayed a while and had some late arrivals. restaurant was very accommodating to all.
Our waitress was wonderful, the food was delicious, and perfect for a romantic evening
This is our little hang. We enjoy the wait staff, and the food is great! I love the salmon and crab over orzo. The prices are good, and it is BYOB.
The food was horrible. Very greasy, just nasty. I had the eggplant parmigiana, the "homemade" sauce was the worse. At least our server was breath of fresh air. Otherwise the night was a complete waste. I've passed this place many times and was very excited to try it, but turns out it was even more of a disappointment. I give it 5 negative stars!
Every time I have eaten here, the food and service has been great. I recommend the salmon and crab-meat entree. The Salmon is cooked perfectly, topped with a generous amount of lump crab meat. You won't be disappointed.
All 4 of us enjoyed everything we ordered. The house salad with strawberries and strawberry vinaigrette and goat cheese was especially delicious. The chicken Marsala had a nice light mushroom and wine sauce that was not too floury and heavy. The only issue was that the server seemed to be spread too thin. He was running from table to table and we had to ask more than once for more bread and more water. But he was very pleasant and as attentive as possible. It was a Sunday evening so they may have been lower staffed than at peak times. The decor was lovely. We were able to hear each other and have conversation throughout the meal very easily. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and we all agreed that we would definitely come again.
It was my husband's and my first experience at Piero's. I read the reviews online and decided it was a great restaurant to try. The service was terrible! It took the server at least 15 minutes to come over to the table to introduce herself and open our wine. She also seemed to disappear throughout the evening . I was not happy. The food was not hot. My husband ordered the Chicken saltimbocca and there was not a sage leaf to be found in the whole dish. He was disappointed with the Caesar salad with just the creamy caesar dressing. I had a monkfish special and the dish was not very flavorful. For a $175 dinner for 4 that did not include alcohol it was very disappointing. Don't think I would go back for the price.
We had an reservation for 6 pm, part of 4, and arrived 15 minutes early and were seated immediately. Out waitress was very nice, the food was tastefully prepared and no one rushed us to leave. The booth was quite roomy and you didn't have to shout to hear the people in our party talking. I would definitely go back. The restaurant was decorated very nice and so was the outside of the building.
This is a neighborhood restaurant we went for anniversary dinner. We had reservations and we quickly seated. Lovely atmosphere, not too loud or too dark. Quick service. Tasty food. Overall we will return.
As usual we were not disappointed.
Great food. Great service. Relaxed setting.
We went to celebrate a birthday and it was a great place for 3 generations to meet and eat. The food was very good, the service was excellent and friendly and we enjoyed our meal.
We have enjoyed several visits to Piero's, both for lunch and dinner. We were happy to find this gem within our area and have enjoyed taking friends to our 'new find'.
