We have frequented Piero's a few times this year and haven't been disappointed. The food is great, nice portions and tasty. We've had the same waiter, Jason, twice now and just think he is super. He goes way beyond to make sure that you enjoy the meal.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Food and service are great.
We all ordered the calamari appetizer, which was the special. It eas very tasty. Everyone enjoyed dinner as well. We also had dessert because they were all homemade at the restaurant. Everything was delicious.
My two friends and I who haven't seen each other in quite some time were seated promptly. Although the restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, it did fill up fairly quickly. Still, we felt no need to rush and stayed for almost three hours. Our waiter, whose name I cannot remember, was extremely helpful and very accommodating. I have been to Piero's a few times and would definitely recommend it to friends/family.
We have been to Piero's several times and the service is always excellent. The food really depends on what you order. We have had some wonderful dishes there. This time, I ordered the Veal Chesapeake and was disappointed. I found the veal to be a little tough and the fried calamari was too rubbery! The restaurant is in our neighborhood and is convenient and the waiters and waitresses are all really nice. We will take a break and try it again in the future!
The food was excellent. I have been looking for an Italian dining spot for a while and Piero's did not disappoint. I ordered the Trio Diavolo and it was delicious. Everyone in my party was very pleased with the food. My only suggestion would be to expand the dessert selections to include tiramisu as a permanent part of the dessert menu. It would also be nice to see gelato as well. Other than that, I highly recommend it for authentic Italian dining at a perfect price point.
I drove from New Jersey with my wife for our 10th wedding anniversary to Piero's. My wife wanted to try it out. All I got to say is great idea. The food is great. Our waitress Jill was very attentive and always checking on us. It was great from start to finish. The experience was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
Had dinner with friends from out of town, great service, great food, great night!!!
Waiter was great! Food was good. The room was very loud. They close early, 9:30 on a Saturday night. We would have stayed later and talked.
My meal was out of this world (NY strip steak). My friend's, not so much (Chesapeake). The veal was dry and tasteless and there were only bits of crabmeat. The shrimp was the only tasty bite.
Great BYOB. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The veal was so tender. Service was great.
Service was very good. Decor has a very at home feel. Food was very good. We look forward to visiting again.
Piero's is our go to restaurant for special occasions, a night out and introducing to friends who enjoy Italian and have never been before. I had the Veal Alexandria and my friend had the Veal Chesapeake. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I normally have the lobster ravioli and decided to try something different. I was not disappointed. Will be back soon.
As always, the food and the service were just perfect!
Went to Piero's with some friends who we haven't seen in awhile. Piero'so has a nice atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable waitress, and fantastic food. Staff made us feel welcomed and comfortable.
There were very few people in the restaurant for brunch yet it took almost 1.5 hours to get our food. We were a party of 10 but had a reservation. I'm just grateful that my 2 year old granddaughter is a good girl. At no time did they ask if they could bring something out for her. We made our feelings known before we left. The food was very good but service was bad. My husband wants to try again and give a second chance but I'm on the fence.
You never disappoint, another delicious meal! Bread piping hot and pasta to die for!
We had a group of 8 adults and both the service and food were very good. Our server, Jason, was absolutely the best. He was not only efficient but personable as well. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and the group apps. Comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.
We hosted a reunion of 8 people. All raved about the food and the atmosphere. Jason, our waiter, was a large part of making the event festive. Our meal flowed smoothly so we had time to enjoy the evening to the fullest. Thank you, Jason and the staff at Piero's. We'll definitely be back!
I wanted to like this place. It's clean and nicely decorated.
We missed that it was a byob so don't forget to bring something! The server was nice. I'm not sure if it was totally her but the whole night just took FOREVER! We were there almost 2 hours! We started with the fried calamari and it was some of the best cooked that I have ever had. Just lacked salt. That was the highlight of the night. My mother got a seafood trio (trio diavlo or something like that) of shrimp, scallops and something else and pasta in garlic butter. She said she didn't taste any garlic. The shrimp was hard rubber but the scallops were nicely cooked. Sadly, the pasta was all clumped together like when you don't stir it while it's cooking. My husband had the veal saltemboca. The veal was overcooked. The whole dish was salty on top of salty on top of salty. There was so much salt in the potatoes that he couldn't eat them. There was prosciutto on top of the veal cutlet and then that was all topped with cheese. The prosciutto added more salty to this dish. The sauce was a bit on the salty side. Did I mention salty? He ate it because we waited far too long for it and we were so hungry. I had the salmon and crab with orzo and spinach. The orzo and spinach were good. The salmon, on the other hand, was a brick. The crab was sparse and seemed to be an afterthought. The sauce, overall, was ok. It was thick and rich. It reminded me of the consistency of pudding. The desserts were ok. Mom got the lava cake with little to no lava in the middle. Husband got the creme brulee and it was good. I got the tiramisu and it was good. We told most of this to the server and got the "sucks to be you" response but in a nice way. No manager, no nothing. I am pretty certain that she didn't tell the kitchen any of our feedback. I'm pretty sure we probably won't be going back. Too expensive for mediocre/poor food and slow service.
Waitress was attentive but food took an extremely long to come out. Unlike the first two times we were there, this time the food was only fair.
Absolutely fantastic... the BREAD!!! WOW will definitively be back and this time were bringing friends
Very nice dinner experience, Katelyn was an exvellent server
Food was delicious. Very friendly and accommodating especially for our infant granddaughter. Our waiter Jason was amazing! We ate there on many other special occasions. They made our 40th anniversary with our family very meaningful and special with their excellent service!
My salmon and my husband's chicken were both very dry. The pasta was over cooked with very little sauce. Mashed potatoes? How is that Italian? Hopefully, it was just a bad night for the chef, but I wouldn't want to try it again.
My overall experience was excellent. My family of 5, 3 kids including a 10 month old, went to celebrate my wife's birthday. Kid's menu had enough choices. Service was really good. Food was great. My wine was great (BYO)! My wife and I usually share a bite of our meals but she liked her meal so much she "forgot" to share. I had ordered a strip steak but the server came immediately back after I ordered to inform me they were out. They offered to replace the strip with the filet at no extra charge. Prices were reasonable. I felt it was nice enough for my wife's birthday and casual enough to take the kids. I really apprecIated the hostess walking my 5 yo daughter to the bathroom to show her where it was. My daughter had walked to the front looking for it. That was nice!
Hidden gem! I'm glad we discovered this spot! Thanks to the open table reviews!
Food was delishious! Place is super clean and best place to meet with friends to have a good meal and nice conversations!
Very nice restaurant!
Great as usual!! Pieros is a home away from home, where the staff always makes you feel like family.
Food was decent and service fair.
This was not my first time to dine at this restaurant. I have had brunch and dinners there over the last few years and I am NEVER disappointed. Their food is excellent, prices are reasonable and their service staff is always attentive and professional. I love to recommend this restaurant to others.
We ate outside and as always the food and the service was great. Definitely worth trying out.
Very disappointed; food was cold-bacon hard overcooked dried up, water for tea was not hot enough to steep it, they were not ready to open; waffle maker was not ready so no waffles available, ordered soft eggs they came hard, you could hear a lot of joviality from kitchen staff but the food that came out of it was sad. The only redeeming part was a great waiter on the previous two visits; he wasn't there on this last visit. We will never go to Piero's again as this was a repeat of two previous visits wherein the same occurred with sub-par food.
We had a delicious meal at Piero's the night before Father's Day. Our waiter was Jason and he could not have been any nicer. He provided us with great service the entire night and everything was served as ordered and at the right temperature. We have eaten at Piero's about a dozen times and our last time there was the best so far and much of that outstanding experience was because of Jason. You should ask for him when you make your reservation!
Traveling from NC and decided to try. We were extremely pleased on all counts. Italian food was excellent, eggplant parmigiana and spaghetti bolognese. Service was excellent, steered us to good choices. Would definitely go back.
Great BYOB. Lots of great specials and fantastic menu. Clean, nicely lit comfortable atmosphere. Friendly staff and great prices. This place is a great find and definitely coming back soon. 12 of us and everyone was completely satisfied.
Piero's is our favorite place to eat. Food is fantastic, service is outstanding. My family and I have been there twice in the past 30 days. Our waiter Jason is the best!
I ALWAYS enjoy the excellent service and the great food. I often recommend this restaurant.
Great service, varied. Went with friends. Would return.
Have been here several times. Food is always very good, but service is hit or miss. This time, not so good. Noise level was very high this time.
Piero's Always have good food and courteous wait staff.
