Have been here a few times now. Service is always excellent. Food Is always very good. However this time 3 meals were great but my husband ordered a chicken dish and one of the pieces was very dry. Very hard to even cut. When we told the waiter he immediately had another piece made For us to take home. We will be back.
I found this restaurant via an internet search. My friend and I wanted to meet halfway for dinner. It was a great find. We both had salad and pasta dishes which we very much enjoyed. Some of the other dishes looked inviting, but were out of our price range. Jill was very attentive. For someone who is not familiar with the area, the roadside signage in the dark, is not great. I road right by it.
The restaurant was somewhat empty for a Saturday night, and we were able to get a table for seven pretty easily. This should have been a sign perhaps. The appetizers were very good, particularly the bruschetta (which was delicious and fresh) but the actual dinner for each of the seven of us was average to below average.
We have frequented Piero's a few times this year and haven't been disappointed. The food is great, nice portions and tasty. We've had the same waiter, Jason, twice now and just think he is super. He goes way beyond to make sure that you enjoy the meal.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Food and service are great.
My two friends and I who haven't seen each other in quite some time were seated promptly. Although the restaurant was not crowded when we arrived, it did fill up fairly quickly. Still, we felt no need to rush and stayed for almost three hours. Our waiter, whose name I cannot remember, was extremely helpful and very accommodating. I have been to Piero's a few times and would definitely recommend it to friends/family.
We have been to Piero's several times and the service is always excellent. The food really depends on what you order. We have had some wonderful dishes there. This time, I ordered the Veal Chesapeake and was disappointed. I found the veal to be a little tough and the fried calamari was too rubbery! The restaurant is in our neighborhood and is convenient and the waiters and waitresses are all really nice. We will take a break and try it again in the future!
The food was excellent. I have been looking for an Italian dining spot for a while and Piero's did not disappoint. I ordered the Trio Diavolo and it was delicious. Everyone in my party was very pleased with the food. My only suggestion would be to expand the dessert selections to include tiramisu as a permanent part of the dessert menu. It would also be nice to see gelato as well. Other than that, I highly recommend it for authentic Italian dining at a perfect price point.
I drove from New Jersey with my wife for our 10th wedding anniversary to Piero's. My wife wanted to try it out. All I got to say is great idea. The food is great. Our waitress Jill was very attentive and always checking on us. It was great from start to finish. The experience was wonderful. I highly recommend it.
Piero's is our go to restaurant for special occasions, a night out and introducing to friends who enjoy Italian and have never been before. I had the Veal Alexandria and my friend had the Veal Chesapeake. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I normally have the lobster ravioli and decided to try something different. I was not disappointed. Will be back soon.
There were very few people in the restaurant for brunch yet it took almost 1.5 hours to get our food. We were a party of 10 but had a reservation. I'm just grateful that my 2 year old granddaughter is a good girl. At no time did they ask if they could bring something out for her. We made our feelings known before we left. The food was very good but service was bad. My husband wants to try again and give a second chance but I'm on the fence.
We had a group of 8 adults and both the service and food were very good. Our server, Jason, was absolutely the best. He was not only efficient but personable as well. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and the group apps. Comfortable, friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.
We hosted a reunion of 8 people. All raved about the food and the atmosphere. Jason, our waiter, was a large part of making the event festive. Our meal flowed smoothly so we had time to enjoy the evening to the fullest. Thank you, Jason and the staff at Piero's. We'll definitely be back!
I wanted to like this place. It's clean and nicely decorated.
We missed that it was a byob so don't forget to bring something! The server was nice. I'm not sure if it was totally her but the whole night just took FOREVER! We were there almost 2 hours! We started with the fried calamari and it was some of the best cooked that I have ever had. Just lacked salt. That was the highlight of the night. My mother got a seafood trio (trio diavlo or something like that) of shrimp, scallops and something else and pasta in garlic butter. She said she didn't taste any garlic. The shrimp was hard rubber but the scallops were nicely cooked. Sadly, the pasta was all clumped together like when you don't stir it while it's cooking. My husband had the veal saltemboca. The veal was overcooked. The whole dish was salty on top of salty on top of salty. There was so much salt in the potatoes that he couldn't eat them. There was prosciutto on top of the veal cutlet and then that was all topped with cheese. The prosciutto added more salty to this dish. The sauce was a bit on the salty side. Did I mention salty? He ate it because we waited far too long for it and we were so hungry. I had the salmon and crab with orzo and spinach. The orzo and spinach were good. The salmon, on the other hand, was a brick. The crab was sparse and seemed to be an afterthought. The sauce, overall, was ok. It was thick and rich. It reminded me of the consistency of pudding. The desserts were ok. Mom got the lava cake with little to no lava in the middle. Husband got the creme brulee and it was good. I got the tiramisu and it was good. We told most of this to the server and got the "sucks to be you" response but in a nice way. No manager, no nothing. I am pretty certain that she didn't tell the kitchen any of our feedback. I'm pretty sure we probably won't be going back. Too expensive for mediocre/poor food and slow service.
Food was delicious. Very friendly and accommodating especially for our infant granddaughter. Our waiter Jason was amazing! We ate there on many other special occasions. They made our 40th anniversary with our family very meaningful and special with their excellent service!
