We go to Pier W every year for our anniversary dinner. We know that we will have an excellent experience. The food is always outstanding and the service is attentive without being smothering. Of course the view can not be beat. My husband got the Surf and Turf. I tried a bite of the steak, it was wonderfully tender and flavorful. I got the pistachio crusted trout. It was was wonderful.

This was our first time visiting, but we have heard how great this place is. We were able to reserve a table with a beautiful view of Cleveland and the lake. Food and service were impeccable.

I friggin' LOVE this buffet. Every. Time. So go... You won't regret it!

I had a wonderful time while I was there. It was my first time at Pier W and I definitely will be back! Our service with Ashley was great & the food was outstanding! The staff made sure everything was stocked, well heated, or chilled.

We go to pier w for brunch on Sunday early so we get a seat by the windows. We have done this for years. Last Sunday when we went to the hostess station just minutes before 9:30am, I asked “Will we get a window?” The response was, “You’ll get a nice table.” The hostess said this without looking at us. Sideways talk, I call it. She whispered something to the person taking us to our table and off we went. The table was a half booth not by the windows. We asked if we, three people, could have the four top table by the window (as Pier W advertises, first come, first serve, no reservation at table by window - a practice the three of us have done for years) and the person who took us to the half booth said, “ the four top was reserved for a party of four.” We asked for the manager who quickly said we could sit at the table we wanted. Yet, with all the crap and disrespect from the hostess up front, ruined our experience. Shame on you Pier W. After a loyal customer for more than 10 years, bad taste and not so interested.

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here! The atmosphere was perfect, the service was amazing, and the food was to die for. We could not be more impressed and we’ll continue to dine with Pier W.

Great overall experience. Food service and beverage service was excellent. The views are amazing. The add in Lobster tail was smallish and is the only opportunity for improvement.

Great place to celebrate a special event, or just an awesome evening. Great view of the lake and the Cleveland skyline. The food was outstanding as was the service. Waitress made us feel very comfortable and treated us like we were old friends.

Everything here was great! The service was impeccable and friendly. The food was creative and flavorful. The ambience was lively but not noisy. And the view, of course, was magnificent.
I will definitely return.

Great table by the window with a perfect view of Cleveland. Check in was flawless and they gave us a special “Anniversary” menu which was a nice touch. My Swordfish was perfect but my wife’s Halibut was over cooked. Overall, we live this place because of the atmosphere, service, normally great food quality and the unique view.

This was my second time dining at Pier W and the thing that stood out to me the most was the excellent serving staff, especially our waitress. The view, atmosphere and the food were all excellent.

We went here to celebrate my promotion at work and I loved the view of ththe waves crashing beneath us on the day we went and the weather was bad. The halbut two-ways was amazing, and I would definitely recommend the crab cakes as an app.

Wedding Anniversary

Food was great as always but service was just mediocre. Have had excellent service the several times my wife and I have dined at Pier W but not this time. Seems like our server had too many tables and couldn't serve well. We will be back, however, because nothing beats Pier W as the best restaurant in northern Ohio.

Now that our days are longer, we get to enjoy the scenic view even longer as we enjoy fabulous food and pleasant surroundings. Our guest was very impressed which is why we keep coming back to Pier W.

All in all the restaurant was amazing BUT I Was told I could not add pasta to Italian seafood stew known as seafood bouliabasse by a longtime tenured server! then I was told I could add it in my self at the table ..? Myself I’m a prefix fine dining server and I have never told a guest no or to do anything them selves seeing as how I was serving them: other than that I will go back but won’t be sitting at said servers table.

Entrance was cool. Door is above the restaurant and you walk down into the building which is cast out of the cliff making a great view. Had live piano music as you walk up top the buffet of incredible brunch foods. Can't wait till my next visit back.

This was the first time I visited Pier W. It met all expectations and exceeded many.
It was pretty crowded on Sunday afternoon; but other than that...."What a beautiful restuarant".

Everyone was friendly and courteous. My waitress was extremely helpful. We loved it and will be back.

The food, service and view are exceptional. The only downfall is the close quarters of the table seating. You’ll be really familiar with the tables around you by the time your meal is over. Especially with the up and down during self serve brunch. Other than the close seating, everything else is great. Will definitely be back.

This is a delightful place for any and every occasion. The food is excellent, the waite staff is wonderful and I enjoy myself every time I go here.

Best restaurant in NE Ohio hands down. Nothing compares atmosphere wise and the food is always above average as well!

Pier W offers a terrific view of Lake Erie. Window tables are first come first serve. Our reservation was at 5:00 (when they started seating for dinner) and we were able to sit by the window. The food came out very quickly. All the food was tasty, although the appetizer portions were small, so order several--the clam chowder was in a cup smaller than a coffee cup. Will go again for sure!
