About Pier W
Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilevered over Lake Erie offering dramatic views of both the Lake and the downtown Cleveland skyline.

Pier W Ratings and Reviews
I have been there several times and that would rate 5 stars in every category. This was my first brunch. Nothing in the chafing dishes was hot. Not one thing. So although the food tasted fine, it was room temperature, which is not acceptable. I will be back for lunch and dinner, but I will not go back for brunch.
I took my girlfriend for our 1 year anniversary. We had a reservation at 8:30pm and got there around 8:15. We sat at the bar for a drink and the bartender was great. Right at 8:30, a hostess came by and let us know our table was ready. She took us to table, but then moved us closer to the window so we could see the lake and the skyline downtown. The drinks were delicious. The mussels we got for appetizers were awesome. The Lobster Bisque is what I will ask for as my final meal. The server provided information on a lobster tail special and a sword fish special, which we both went for. Everything was great and at the end they knew it was our anniversary and brought us a Red Velvet Cake Slice for our Anniversary. Everything was wonderful.
Enjoyed coming here in the evening to view the Cleveland skyline at night. Service was great. We came for my husband's birthday and they had a couple small touches such as "Happy Birthday" printed on the menus and a free red velvet cupcake for him. The food was great (we had lobster and swordfish). This restaurant is more reasonably priced than some of the other high-end restaurants in the area.
My wife and I had such an amazing time there! She loves the piano so the live playing of it she really enjoyed. Everyone was so nice and the manager came and checked on us towards the end. The view was really something to see. We defiantly will be back. The food was remarkable and the pricing was reasonable for what we got.
Sunday Bunch...plenty of everything you’re looking for. Everything we tried was outstanding...bouillabaisse, scallops, sushi, smoked oysters, mussels, plus all the regular breakfast items. There was much I haven’t mentioned but everything there was worth the price of $40.!
Really enjoyed the meal. Server was great. However we were using a gift certificate worth $200. It rang up with a zero balance. We were given number to call. Which we did, and were told that the card wasn't activated. Still trying to sort it out. Very awkward to go back to the person who gave it to us and ask us they still have the receipt. The oerson selling these should have to keep a record and sign for it. We might just be our $200. Should be a better system
A great dining experience! Our server was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and able to give great suggestions. The cocktails were amazing (we had an assortment of martinis and a flavored mule). All 4 in our party enjoyed them. The lobster bisque soup may be the best that I have ever tasted! The meat and cheese board was great -- LOVE the olive tapenade. One of our party ordered the spicy carrot soup -- and we all tasted it. Amazing. For the entrees -- two of our party had the scallops simply done (perfect), one had the chicken, and one has the swordfish. We split the Baked Alaska for dessert. I cannot say how great the entire dining experience was!
Requested a window table in our reservation that we made about a month in advance and had to way along time to get seated. Had to wait in line to sit in the bar area. Table finely was ready and had to be moved 15 minutes after being seated because over head light kept blinking. Food was disappointing for the price. Servers were excellent. That was the best part of the evening.
