About Pier W
Pier W, a landmark Cleveland restaurant, has been serving a critically acclaimed seafood and contemporary menu since May 11, 1965. Having recently undergone a $3 million interior renovation, the new Pier W resembles a sophisticated luxury liner cantilevered over Lake Erie offering dramatic views of both the Lake and the downtown Cleveland skyline.
We would like to request that shorts, flip flops and baseball caps are not worn to the restaurant.

Pier W Ratings and Reviews
Sunday Bunch...plenty of everything you’re looking for. Everything we tried was outstanding...bouillabaisse, scallops, sushi, smoked oysters, mussels, plus all the regular breakfast items. There was much I haven’t mentioned but everything there was worth the price of $40.!
Really enjoyed the meal. Server was great. However we were using a gift certificate worth $200. It rang up with a zero balance. We were given number to call. Which we did, and were told that the card wasn't activated. Still trying to sort it out. Very awkward to go back to the person who gave it to us and ask us they still have the receipt. The oerson selling these should have to keep a record and sign for it. We might just be our $200. Should be a better system
A great dining experience! Our server was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the menu and able to give great suggestions. The cocktails were amazing (we had an assortment of martinis and a flavored mule). All 4 in our party enjoyed them. The lobster bisque soup may be the best that I have ever tasted! The meat and cheese board was great -- LOVE the olive tapenade. One of our party ordered the spicy carrot soup -- and we all tasted it. Amazing. For the entrees -- two of our party had the scallops simply done (perfect), one had the chicken, and one has the swordfish. We split the Baked Alaska for dessert. I cannot say how great the entire dining experience was!
Requested a window table in our reservation that we made about a month in advance and had to way along time to get seated. Had to wait in line to sit in the bar area. Table finely was ready and had to be moved 15 minutes after being seated because over head light kept blinking. Food was disappointing for the price. Servers were excellent. That was the best part of the evening.
Pier W were very accommodating. I wanted a table by the window because I was bringing my long time friend, who lives in Florida, and I wanted her to get the full view of Lake Erie and clevelands skyline , they didn't disappoint. She loved it. The lunch of blackened swordfish was fantastic! The ambiance is beautiful with their white tablecloths and cobalt blue glasses...so classy! I would highly recommend this place.
Very nice and romantic settings, great food and atmosphere . We were there for a special occasion right after Christmas , it was very busy , but not too noisy . Food was perfect , our server was very friendly . Our food was right on the dot , crab cakes, shrimp, appetizer, desert . Next time we are in Cleveland , would definitely visit again if we are in the area.
Phenomenal! I used to be a server at Pier W and learned all about fish and wine. We continue to come here because of the excellent quality of food, drinks and service. Mary Beth, the GM, is the best and always makes sure we are happy. The fish and wine I learned about while working at Pier W has stayed with me. I know quality and Pier W serves the best. Btw, the lobster and Oysters Rockefeller are UNFORGETTABLE! Succulent, delectable, tasty treats, in an atmosphere that nothing compares to. We love Pier W for the memories of yesterday and look forward to making memories for years to come.
