   We love dining here. Beautiful atmosphere, great food and service is always top notch. I was disappointed this time that our server did not tell us that when we asked to have the crab cake appetizer as an entree that it came with potatoes and green beans. We ordered a side of potatoes and a side of green beans so we ended up with far too many. Also, having crab cakes as an entree was an additional $21 which is fine but really didn’t need to order the additional sides to go with it. Overall we had a fun night, would go back.

   First time at Pier W, overall excellent experience; from initial greeting to dining experience. All food, appetizers, lunch and dessert, just delicious. Lunch menu limited to four entries, would be nice to offer more options. The view of Lake Erie and downtown Cleveland area from dining area just spectacular. We will return.

   Fabulous food matched with spectacular views of Cleveland and Lake Erie from every table! The atmosphere was inviting from the moment you enter--live piano and endless views with an intimate elegant layout. I had the lobster bisque--it was a perfect starter and the serving was the most unique I had encountered! The tuna was out of this world good---the sesame crust gave it a whole different dimension. Finished the meal with the sorbet trio--all made in-house and just splendid. The entire staff was friendly, happy, and knowledgeable. Our server Teri, made great recommendations. This was one of the finest dining experiences I've encountered. We will be back!

   The atmosphere is always excellent. We went on the deck to take photos of CLE skyline after dining. The staff is amazing as is the food. The rack of lamb was juicy and delicious. It was seasoned perfectly. The crab cakes were light and not oily. Perfect as always.

    We arrived early for our 7 pm reservation so we waited in the bar. Piano music, good drinks, great service. At 7 pm we were seated in the dining room overlooking Lake Erie with the city of Cleveland in the background. Our menu had “Happy Anniversary” written across the top as we were there celebrating our 35th anniversary. The service was impeccable, the food delicious and the ambiance perfect. This is truly a 5 star restaurant in my opinion. They do everything right! Perfect for that special occasion.

    Lovely experience. Marvelous food and service, although surprised and sadly disappointed how little pride others take in their appearance these days. Mixed bag of torn jeans and tee shirts to scantily clad ladies with clothing two sizes too small. Not the Pier W I remember.

    My husband and I went for the Sunday brunch to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We arrived and were immediately taken to a seat that was by the stairs, kitchen and walkway. I explained to the hostess that we requested a window seat with our reservation. She said that seats are first come first served. They why are special notes allowed for the reservation app? She said we could wait for another table to open up. Yet there was an empty table right by the window. My husband and I went back by the hostess table and waited for another table. Ten minutes go by and we are seated behind the empty table that is right by the window. I was upset but tried to make the best of things. Our server greeted us and was nice enough. We tried the options on the menu and at the buffet. Nothing really blew our socks off that we had to have again. To add insult to injury there were three young ladies who were seated well after my husband and I and the manager came and greeted them and held a long conversation with them. Funny thing is, he was standing there when I asked for a different table and was trying not to make eye contact when I walked by a few time. Over all it was a underwhelming experience. The way so many different people talked about how great Pier W was I had really expected a better experience. This was my first visit and my last.

    The food was excellent. Service was very good although we had to ask for a wine bucket then place our bottle of wine in the bucket. The young server said” oh you can put your wine in the bucket.” The server asked if the wine was cold but who drinks white wine that quickly? The room was full so being loud expected. We did get our window seat or at least close to the window. Experience was good.

    The moment we arrived on site we took a few minutes to enjoy the view from the upper deck. Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by a very pleasant hostess and host who seated us at a table with a great view. My husband's birthday was the reason for this special dinner and even the waiter who served our water acknowledged this at the very start of our stellar experience. Our waiter, Nicholas, also offered birthday congratulations and went over the menu answering our questions. Alexis, the sommelier, had recommended a white burgundy on our last visit so we ordered the same bottle and she stopped by to make sure we were once again pleased. The food, as always, was impeccably prepared, beautifully presented and the pairing of tastes was perfect. We will be back soon . . . . why wait for a special occasion!? One should enjoy this experience on a regular basis!

    Wasn’t the best visit this time, albeit, still had great service and a great table by the window. Ribeye was over cooked, ahi tuna dinner wasn’t my favorite. Sorry we didn’t make other choices. We’ll try again soon, just a little disappointing this visit.

    Pier W is one of our favorites. The Honey Bourbon Peach Pie is my new favorite dessert. Our drinks and our main courses were also excellent. The piano player and the view were fabulous, and made the experience all the more enjoyable.

    Went here for the first time with my husband for his birthday and the service was exceptional and the food and drinks were delicious! Highly recommend the Maine lobster pasta and the lobster bisque! We will definitely come back! Highly recommend dining here!

    We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and wanted everything to be perfect. We were greeting by the staff when we entered the restaurant and they wished us happy anniversary.
