   Chicken dry and tasteless. Ginger cake OK but a bit on the dry side. Coffee? Are you kidding me? I was served instant coffee under the pretense of Americano! Could not turn it down because I had a guest from the USA with me. Did not want to embarass Manchester! Service slow. Too expensive for what it offers.

   We are regulars here for a pre-show lunch. Always good food and service so you are not in a panic to get your seat. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

   It was a lovely restaurant to go to before a show. The service was quick, the waitress Sarah was friendly definitely going to this restaurant again before any shows I go.

   sadly there were not too many diners - think people tend to go to theatre and eat before and in interval

   Went with friends, very comfortable dinning. The staff were very attentive and friendly . All meals were delightful and service was prompt. The menu is has a reasonable amount of choices. I enjoyed the food so did everyone else and yes happy to go there again.

   The food here is exceptional. The staff are professional and helpful. Overall we would strongly recommend the pre theatre dining experience.

   We enjoyed our meal at Pier Eight although my wife dudn’t enjoy her starter .However this was deducted from our bill ! The panna cotta was ice but it was too thin and the texture was not as firm as it should have been .However overall the meal was good and the service was even better . May one criticism would be that the tables around the sides of the room are too close together leaving a very small space to squeeze through to get to your seat .Which would be very hard for people with a larger build and the closeness of other tables inhibitis converstation

    Lovely meal as we were not sure if it was the place to take god friends , we all enjoyed our food and left clean plates , the staff were attentive and pleasant .
