Pier 7 is a neighbourhood gem and their Dine Out 2021 Menu offerings were tasty and generous. Haven't been here for a few months due to COVIC so we were happy to see the added screening panels between tables. Look forward to coming again soon. Our waitress was personable and attentive.
Our Dine Out at Pier 7 was excellent! The service friendly and she recommended a great wine when our choice was sold out. The 3 course menu was wonderful. I have never had the mussels before and they were amazing! The sablefish melted in your mouth.
All together a great evening and so nice to be out and yet safe!
We'll be back!
Dinner was excellent. Only issue I had was when I gave my gift card that was supposed to have $50 on it was empty. This has been an ongoing issue with their gift cards this year. I remember when my friend went to Pier 7 specifically to purchase the card for our Christmas gift and we told her to make sure the $50 is actually loaded on the card. She did exactly that, yet when we went to use it there was nothing. This is the second time this has happened. The other time was when we used our own card. Same thing happened. We did get it straightened out finally.
Loved salmon bowl, cooked and presented perfectly.
all $15 lunches excellent value incentive, will be returning soon 👍
Comp. Birthday dessert appreciated & delicious!
Food much improved from past visits, so we’re happily returning and recommending.

Dessert serve before the entrees, steak knife come few minutes after my steak arrive!
Good food for a good price and serving amount, we loved the dining in patio
Amazing Service and the food is incredible! Jim and and Holly were exceptional! Thank you for a great night!
Went here for dine out Vancouver. Food was good and ambience is excellent. Service was great but food took a little longer to arrive. Would definitely come back here in the summer for the nice view and good food.
Food was way better than the last meal I had there over a year ago
Staff was attentive and nice. The seafood pasta was delicious. Shrimp and scallops were nice and juicy.
Sable fish was almost like melt in your mouth. The nocci seemed pan fried and crispy on the outside. Very tasty.
A nice place for an anniversary or birthday, every once in a while. Nice view as well.
Aynsley was excellent as our server after we requested again to seat closer to a window. My initial reservation made 3 weeks prior had a request already and we were seated in a upper corner in a large booth for only 2 of us. We nicely asked to move to many open tables on the floor near the windows but we waited for over 3 minutes for the host to check. At that time, there was no one else at the front waiting.
Now the good stuff: the Valentine’s Day set menu was great. The optional orange muscato was a very nice dessert wine.
Here comes the not-so-good: Confusing appie as it was only one appie and one standard dessert for the 2-person set menu.
Request made a month ago and still didn't meet expectations and wait for food was very long.
As always we were completely happy with our food and with the service, Pier 7 has not disappointed yet. We had a great dinning experience and well be ret5urning soon.

Excellent food and friendly staff. I highly recommend.
The food was great amazing view and the staff was very king and helpful.
great customer service & have always loved the food here. View is exceptional
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
The view is lovely and the heated patio is great no matter the weather.
The menu was available via QR code - nice way to go paperless/germ-free.
The food was fine. Nothing to complain about but nothing to really love. The brunch mimosas are well balanced and cheaper than many other places.
I love the location, but I doubt I'll be back for anything more than snacks & drinks. I cook a lot, so maybe my standards are a little high, but based on what my partner and I ordered... I could made that myself at home and it would've been more exciting.
If you want a safe bet with a nice view, this place is good. If you want food that you'll be (even a little) impressed by, skip this one.
The service was great and beautiful views of the water. Good overall experience.
Great location on the water. Great view of Vancouver across the inlet. Clam chowder appy was excellent. Main courses of Sablefish and Steak and Lobster both very good as well. Tiramisu desert was top notch. We were very impressed with server Jennifer's knowledge of the wine and menu items as well as taking our order by memory and getting it bang on. Also, and it doesn't happen very often, but bartender made the correct and proper version of an Amaretto Sour. We will for sure be going back at some point.
Very delicious food, great service, expect we requested windo seat prior to our visit didn’t get any . Our waitress was super lovely, but the girl came to us and talked about the window seat was so unprofessional and and immature .
Always a great meal with the best view in the city! Service was great - our favourite spot hands down!
The view and food selection were very good. We sat upstairs with a window view of downtown Vancouver. Beautiful clear cold night. We had mussels and calamari for an appetizer. Both delicious. Our main courses were the Fish and Chips, Salmon bowl and Roast chicken dinner. All very tasty. The portions were good. The bad part was our server. She was young and immature. As she was pouring our wine she was telling us about the first time she came of age to serve alcohol. She had two older ladies she was serving and filled their wine glasses to the top. One of the ladies asked her if she was trying to get them drunk. Waitress answered back “ well your going to drink it all anyway” 😳
1st time trying the restaurant and with the dine out 3 course meal. Was a great experience and highly recommend the experience. We enjoyed the food and our date night out.
Went here for the dine out Vancouver menu. Food was cooked perfectly nicely seasoned and presentation was good.
We took advantage of a late afternoon time slot. There were plenty of others joining us in the restaurant at that time. The food was great, and there is not a bad seat in the restaurant. We felt the COVID plans were well maintained. I really enjoyed the three course specials offered.
Loved the food, the view, the service everything was perfect.
Really enjoyed our Dine Out experience -- location, service and OMG, the FOOD!
Added benefit -- it was Tuesday evening so the bottle of wine was 50% off.
Everything was terrific. Thank You so much! We'll be back.
Had a great 3-course menu and timed it for 5pm with last part of the sun. Holly, our server was very attentive and helped us to time our drinks perfectly.
Regular drink menu on the slightly high price. The sable fish entree was delicious. Hope they can seal off some of the plastic covering for the patio as everyone kept their big coats on while eating, even with the heaters running. Overall, recommended.
We always wanted to dine here and thanks to Dine Out we ventured from Richmond to North Vancouver’s Pier 7 Restaurant, we so happy with our experience 😋😋, that we will definitely return! 👍
Good food, price is about right, ambiance is superb!
Great view and brunch was great. We had avocado toast and scrambled egg on the side.
Welcome was not great, as we had booked one week earlier and could only sit in the bar area or a small outside table against the window. But server Holly was outstanding, attentive and helpful. Food was great, and so was the rest of the evening.
Our server was amazing and the food is great.
Food was okay. As we reserved, we were hoping to get a window seat but weren't able to get one. We were seated on the upper level in the middle so the view wasn't as nice as it could have been. They were out of the house wine so I ordered a cocktail, which I normally wouldn't have. It wasn't great. The first drink - Caesar - was good though.
House ran out of the dessert offered on their preplanned menu. They also ran out of the wine we ordered after a single bottle, as well as the second wine we picked to replace that one.
Other than not having many of the items we were expecting and looking for, the service was lovely, view was phenomenal, and the food was decent.
Went for Dine Out Vancouver and was very happy with the whole experience. It had been a few years since we had been and the last time we went it was “ok”. I am happy to report that the food was very tasty, service was great and the ambience was lovely. We were there for the sunset and had a table near the window...you just can’t beat those views of the city
Heated Outdoor patio was great and the view was awesome. Friendly staff. Would definitely go again
We had reserved ahead of time yet a table was not ready when we arrived , which defeats the purpose of reserving and seemed slack and made me feel unimportant as a customer. Luckily the server Jenifer remembered my partner and I immediately and was charming and efficient, making up for the initial gaffe. The food is good and the view spectacular. A lovely spot overlooking the North Shore water.
Went there on the first night of Dine Out Vancouver and the Prix Fixe menu did not disappoint. However, the lady who greeted us really should have been doing something else other than greeting people. While she wasn't rude, she was cold, blunt and certainly not pleasant to speak to. Perhaps she had a bad day? Perhaps she thought Dine Out Vancouver was a bad idea? I don't know... Luckily the server who served us was very good and more than made up for the first impression we had on the restaurant.
I would definitely recommend this place.. Good food, friendly staff and great service!! We will come back for sure..
