Waterside table is unique and makes the day. We were 4 and shared the Tuesday/Wednesday half priced bottles of wine. Two of us split a $19 fish and chips which was sufficient. So a seaside lunch for two sharing fish and chips and a bottle of wine is well under $50. That's pretty tough to beat!
The steak was literally to die for! I would come back just for the steak.
It was too noisy though - there was a large group of women laughing every few seconds.
The waitress was not great. First, she chose to talk to a group that was leaving for 10 minutes before she came to take our order. She often didn't come back to check on us. She was rude to my bf when he stopped her and reminded her about us after leaving us for 20mins+. She spent so much time checking on all the other guests and neglected us. In the end, she couldn't even say anything to us like "I hope you enjoyed your food" or "any plans for the evening" when she spent 10mins with the last group. It felt a lot like discrimination because of race, accent etc I don't know but it was uncomfortable.
We went there for my son’s 16th birthday he ate the whole seafood tower! Sorbet was delicious. We had a great family time.
Many COVID precautions were taken. We felt safe.
Food was good and delivered in a timely manner.
Wait staff friendly and helpful.
Great location. Nice food. Friendly and efficient staff. Half priced bottles of wine on Tuesday and Wednesday is great value.
Great view- good food- service was okay but could have been better-the server seemed to have difficulty understanding what we were saying!
Great food! And service, our favourite restaurant. Can’t beat the view, and yo can hear to talk with those you are with. Hands down the best restaurant on the North Shore!
Pier 7 is our favourite place to go. We always sit at table 50 out on the Patio in the corner. Service is always great and the view is incredible. It’s just so sad that the patio will be closing for the winter. With Covid we like to be outside and won’t be able to.
Aside from that we LOVE it!!
Can't beat the location. Great seafood and service.
Everything good except being stuck I. Elevator with no lights and unable to make people hear that we were there
It was fabulous! Our server Raysa was amazing and so incredibly helpful, attentive and friendly. She paid close attention to our specific diets needs and the food was just incredibly delicious! It was a perfect day and perfect venue for a lovely, memorable lunch. Thanks!
This was the best food, service and location I have enjoyed in a long, long time!
The Caesar cocktail was among the best I’ve had anywhere! The calamari was tender, delicious and light. Our steak was grilled perfectly and we had a warm patio seat on the ocean’s edge. Alyssa our server was top notch! So bypass Tap & Barrel (located a few meters away) and head to Pier 7- you’ll be happy you did.
Booked a reservation and showed up on time and they weren’t even open yet. A good portion of our meal was clearly items bought at the grocery store and heated up. Cooked the eggs incorrectly. Beautiful view though. Great place for a drink. Just go in with low expectations and you’ll be fine.
First off, the views are amazing 👏 . It was the first time I had been there and I also took a girl on our first date there. We had the seafood tower, everything was fresh and well done I recommend that. She was impressed of my choice of restaurant and we are going on date 2. Thanks peir 7.
everything was delicious and we will be back for sure
The food and drinks were amazing and the service was excellent!
Lovely patio outside! Service was great. Great with friends!
Excellent view in a beautiful rester aunt but food was average and not exciting. Service was very good and waitress was friendly.
Amazing service by the staff, very friendly and accommodating. Food was very nice as well. It was quiet when I was there and the ambiance + view was just perfect.
We'll come back for sure!
Food is great, views are wonderful and the staff were very friendly
The food was good and the city light's was nice love to the ship move in and out.
Amazing food is spectacular
That was one of the best lunches I have had in awhile. So good would have been happy to shake the chef's hand for an outstanding job. Will absolutely be back with that level of food quality and flavor.
Just shared some wings and a couple of glasses of pinot gris, on a quiet Sunday evening. Nice views from inside and out, good friendly services, good food and reasonable price. A go to bar in North Van for sure.
Very good food, and a memorable experience. The view was amazing.
Hostess and service indeed very elegant, accommodations made and your guests will feel welcome and ready to eat an amazing meal. Such a perfect spot to experience all the flavours the ocean has to offer. A dream comes true when all paired with a fillet mignon.
I'm not a reviewer or complainer but i have to say something, the food taste was just ok. I was looking forward to have seafood dishes and enjoy and chit chat with my niece. So here , we've ordered feature dish Sablefish w/ jasmin rice and curry sauce ( the rice was warm and cooked well in the middle section but hard surrounded, curry sauce was good). Yam fries (for some reason it was dark almost burnt like and all crumbled). Calamari (wasn't squid rings instead it was tater tots looking like , maybe each restaurant have its own recipe(i guess) but i have never had that type of Calamari before ever since i was 18yrs). Pier7 Mussels (i love the sauce but most of the mussels had a foul taste). My Ceasars (was taste like clamato juice , wasn't even taste any alcohol at all). We feel bad for the waitress so even the food wasn't great but i still gave her a great amount of tips cause I'm also in customer service industry and she wasn't the one who made the foods so why cut her potion right! I didn't know if we should have said something or just not coming back here at all , since we're just not sure about either because it was happy hour or it was just how they supposed to taste like so we decided not to come back .
Beautiful view. Excellent service. Delicious food. Great wine advice.
Gorgeous view, delicious food, amazing atmosphere! Highly recommend getting seafood tower.
Overall experience was reasonable but not elevated. Calamari was sub-par but the mains were good. Service was slow especially as it pertained to drinks (glass of wine that I ordered before main course came to table only arrived when I was already finished with my meal).
The food was outstanding! Views of the harbour and city are spectacular. The staff and management are making the best out of the COVID situation.
It's hard to come to an overall rating for this restaurant.
Sitting on the patio was very noisy because of the hard surfaces reflecting the myriad of conversations from the many occupied tables. No background music (we approved of this).
Service was great. Our entrees, both fish, were overcooked to our tastes and the accompanying vegetables were nearly raw. When the waitress asked how we liked our food we explained that we thought that the fish was overcooked. She was most apologetic and immediately suggested that she have the food replaced. She did not want us to leave dissatisfied with the quality of the food. Turned out we didn't. The second time the entrees were presented they were done to perfection. The fish was moist nicely seared while the vegetables were beautifully prepared. Altogether a great improvement.
We went to Pier 7 for dinner for my husband's birthday. All tables have a view of the water and city. The service was nice and not fussy. The food was excellent. And they threw in the cake for free because it was his birthday. I would highly recommend it.
Everything was excellent for our anniversary dinner from the seaside view to the delicious food and attentive service. I recommend Pier 7.
Great place, friendly staff n fast service, food was great for the amount we paid. Social distance good
Great service, beautiful location and best happy hour!!!
great food, great location, very clean and great service. Felt very safe even during Covid
Confusion by hostess regarding our reservation. Told we would have to wait 20 minutes and had no idea who we were despite checking in with her. Were finally seated at a nice table outside, once we told her we had decided to leave to sit outside at Tap and Barrel. Uneven but friendly service-had to ask for water refill 3 times. Excellent food. Wine overpriced. Fantastic view of Vancouver.
We ordered the Happy Hour calamari and found it to be very bland. It wasn't the usual rings or tentacles, so it was a different preparation as well. The prices were a little high for the portion size on the regular menu but the Happy Hour prices were good. It was very busy so it was understandably noisy. We went on one of the hottest days this week and sat on the patio in the glass enclosed area. Although it was open on top there was no breeze so it was sweltering. The view is stunning but we had to have the shades pulled. When we did open them the windows were very dirty. I think we would have been more comfortable on the top deck which was not available (because of COVID I think).
Great and friendly service. Delicious pasta! Nice view.
