Bald man host at the front desk was rude with attitude to my wife when we inquired about moving to another table that was not occupied at the time. We got declined which was fine but didn't know why given an attitude. Turns out another party has the same number of people so still unsure why we cannot change to the other table.
Waitress was nice but we made notes that it was a birthday dinner and even brought our own cake, i guess bald man forgot everything so the Waitress didn't know about it. We just cut the cake at home instead. Waitress was nice about it and offered a dessert for the bday girl. Thanks!
Server was attentive and thoughtful, and the food was excellent.
We had a beautiful view from the patio, the staff was very attentive and the food was excellent.
This is our favourite place… we are semi regulars. Love the location and food.
Service was really good. We got there a few minutes ahead of time and were provided with a table right away. There was the option of sitting indoor or on their heated outdoor patio. Food was good. We were there during happy hour which provided very good value for money. Will definitely go back.
Although it was a stormy afternoon, the patio was amazing and the service spectacular. Thank you for making our afternoon very enjoyable.
The tenderloin was not tender and the lobster was rubbery.
Very enjoyable evening.
Lovely surroundings, service friendly.
3 course meal excellent food and good value
Amazing views. Heated patio is wonderful. The food was the best I've had in Vancouver so far!
Great menu selection and food was great. Our server (Sabrina?) was excellent. Overall it was a great evening out
Great anniversary/thanksgiving dinner. The 3 course menu was an excellent value.
Not worth the price in my opinion. We sat in a very dark corner of the restaurant and my partner ordered a “main” dish and he was still starving after.
We weren’t expecting much from this visit as we had heard mixed reviews.
We came to celebrate my wife’s birthday but not once was it mentioned, even though we clearly mentioned that in the booking. This was hugely disappointing.
Our appetizers came out quick but the mains took over an hour to arrive. We were not offered anything for this long wait while another group next to us was offered a meatball appetizer on the house.
Overall it was a disappointment for our visit.
Made reservations for a Thanksgiving Dinner for 4, arrived a few minutes early, wasn’t greeted by the host, were checked and taken to our Table. To find we were on a round table that seated 6, even though we had earlier requested to add another person to the table and was turned down.
The food was excellent, however one of 4 servings they had forgotten the Stuffing.
Service was pathetic, the server was not professional, it was a matter of slamming plates on the table, bending over the customer to get to certain things and to add icing to the cake, getting served a soup spoon with your single short espresso after dinner. No apologies and overall it was a laugh. A lot needs to be addressed and is a pity that with such great views and awesome food, the overall service was less then mediocre!
Food was good. I liked the blackberry mojito, which I had ordered before on another visit. The server was nice and attentive. We had the thanksgiving dinner. The dessert, the lava cake was awesome and was a huge serving Didn't like the noise level at the patio. It was very noisy that son and I couldn't hear each other. I had to ask them to lower the volume of the music. It was better afterwards but with all the other people talking but it was still noisy at times. My son actually said to me, why did you pick this restaurant? I picked it because of the thanksgiving dinner then I remembered that last time I was here with friends, we were seated indoors and it was also noisy. We had leftovers and I asked for extra gravy. The bill came and there was $3 charge for the gravy, which I wasn't informed of. My bill was almost $100 so I didn't I should have been charged that for some gravy. Anyway, the server gladly took it off and I appreciated that. She brought back the bill and on it, the discount said it was because the customer did not want to pay 100%. I am not happy about that at all. Not the right thing to put on a customer's bill.
We went for Thanksgiving dinner and it was amazing. Thanks to the wait staff, they were very attentive and friendly.
The lady that served us was above and beyond in assisting us??? A very astute sharp individual when service is necessary . Her colleagues were banking off of each other that makes this team very professional !!!.
Made a reservation and didn’t get water after being seated for 20 minutes
We went for lunch and it’s not even busy but we waited for our food for a long time like 20 minutes or so..
My friend ordered the chowder soup and she cannot eat it coz its way too salty, she returned it then they gave another chowder, but then again it’s still way too salty so she ended up just returning it and order something else.
Service is ok.
Food is ok.
The three-course $49 deal is a great value for what you get.
They were even able to accommodate my vegan friend on all three courses.
Everything was great - food, service, view and weather
Lunch with a friend. She had not been there before and we had a fabulous lunch, thank you!
Great views! Delicious food! And great to know that everyone in the restaurant is fully vaxxed!
Pier7 enjoys a fabulous location and views. The food was good and well presented. We were surprised how comfortable the heated outdoor patio was, even in early October. Despite all that, I may not return because of the loud music. I find noise very stressful. Even when I like the music, I don't want to have to compete with it in order to talk with my friends... and talking is what the dining experience is all about. Everyone on the patio that night was speaking loudly overtop of the music, so I could hardly hear the others at my own table. I wish that restaurants would stop playing music with lyrics because it's awful having to compete with a singer's voice.
Great food with great views! Service is always amazing.
Everything was great except the parking. Got back to our car 15 mins late and had a $140 ticket on it! Only reason we were late was due to
The waitress being a little slow
Great view, great food, great service! Was a great spot to catch up with old friends.
Great service, great food…except for the hosts at the front were so full of attitude…I almost walked away. The food will bring me back.
Great view. Good food!
We will definitely return to Pier 7.
The fish & chips was disappointing. Other dishes, incl salmon & prawns were good not outstandingly. On another occasion we enjoyed the HH much more.
Service was amazing!!! Food and drinks surpasssd our ecpectations, will recommend to others and will definitely come back.
Three couse dinner was a good value. Would highly recommend it.
It was a chilly late summer night and we were warm and cozy on the outside deck facing the gorgeous water front. All the food was great, except the mussels. Service was great, except our server disappeared when we wanted our bill. Really, it was just fabulous. And the above notes are just to be a bit more picky.
The quality of food is not consistent. I’ve been to Pier 7 4 times and 2 out of the 4 times, I couldn’t really eat my food. Too bad because it’s a nice location and service is amazing
Why husband and I reserved a table for a special birthday dinner. We were seated on the heated patio with the most beautiful view across the River to Vancouver and Canada Place. We ordered the seafood tower and were offered a selection of wine samplers to accompany our choice. Our server, Jennifer, was very knowledgeable of the wine menu and very attentive throughout the entire meal. The food was fresh and delicious! And finally, we were surprised with a slice of cheesecake with a birthday candle on top! So thoughtful! We had a wonderful birthday dinner and will definitely come again. Highly recommend!
Food was cold …………………………………………………………………………………………..
Our favourite place for dinner and the view. Thank you so much
Our server was awesome! Ara!!! Future STAR!!!
Love the patio here. The food selection is awesome and reasonable! Happy hour drinks are great!
Visiting Victoria and this spot came highly recommended. Outside seating was lovely and service was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the arugula salad and pizzas were fresh and delicious. The only thing that dampened our experience was how long it took to receive the pizzas. The restaurant wasn’t that busy and it was lunch time, so if you’re on a tight schedule this may not be the spot. We’d love to try it again when we have a more leisurely schedule.
