Pier 290

One of my favorite restaurants when in the lake area. Always good food, especially the Friday Fish Fry. It's always perfect!

This restaurant not only has an amazing view of the lake and houses, but the food and ambiance is also great. Will definitely be coming again!

NYE dinner with 7 guests. Food was good- not great. I ordered Braised short rib, which was served cold to me. Took me 15 minutes to get the waitress’s attention to heat up my plate. A guest’s old fashioned was served in a plastic cup (?) which we’ve never seen before. At times all guests in the party felt like we were in a freezer and then a sauna. Wish it was an overall better experience.

Pretty packed, it was chilly in the tent steaks were burnt definitely won’t be back. Our waitress was nice but terrible food

No comment it was nice to be out and see other people.

Menu and food seems to have dramatically improved since our last visit a few years back. Was excellent. And a gorgeous space with conscientious social distance efforts.

Quick service and great food

The food and service are always exceptional and this time was no different. The covered area was comfortably heated, zero complaints. A manager stopped by our table to address any concerns and to express gratitude for our patronage. Love this place - I have never been disappointed any time of year!

Went for a Christmas weekend lunch, the food was incredible and the view was stunning! Never disappointed when eating there!

Went for lunch and sat by the fireplace and window over looking the lake. Was wonderful atmosphere and food was delicious! Felt safe, staff wore masks.

After receiving your e-mail, we were extremely excited. The communication said there would be a ski show. There was none. It said we could have steaks and pan fried walleye. Our reservation was for 12:00, so we were offered the lunch menu which did not include either. The server was excellent, the cocktails tasty, the egglo experience great fun and very comfortable. So, we’ll be back at night to get the menu we missed yesterday.

Such an excellent evening. The atmosphere, food, ambiance. Service, and oh, did I say food? Our meals were perfect. Our drinks were perfect. Our server was amazing. We will definitely be coming back and will enjoy the igloos and fire pits. Thank you a nice family dinner!!

My husband and I had such a good time Saturday night at Pier 290. My husband had the baked chicken, and I had the special: chicken piccata. Both were excellent! Zach was our server who we have had before. He's efficient and always very friendly. And because the weather has been so mild for November, we were able to sit around one of the fire pits after dinner--very relaxing!

We love Pier 290. Great wine and fantastic food in a beautiful atmosphere.

Wonderful! Great choice in a cove off Lake Geneva. The decor is beautiful and the food and service on point.

The outdoor dining was great. They had heaters and it was vey comfy inside while the wind was really blowing outside! Would come here again!

A stunningly romantic place for a lazy Sunday afternoon with your significant other.
Pier 290 is on the best part of the lake in Williams Bay.
New fall menu has great new choices. My girlfriend and I went for the two ultimate comfort foods - the meatloaf dish, and the chicken pot pie. Both were incredible! 5 stars for both dishes. Social distancing was ok, not great (the tables were a little close). The service was a little spotty - the server was either constantly asking if we wanted to order, or hard to reach as more tables became occupied.

Food was SO good. Went for brunch and highly recommend the french toast and the eggs Benedict. Best I have ever had!

Our waitress (Jordan, I believe) was incredible!! Can’t thank her enough for being so great and celebrating our engagement with us :)
