Pier 115 Bar and Grill
Great spot - views of the city were spectacular, service was attentive, food was great. Plenty of TVs make watching sports super easy, but make not mistake - this is a nice spot, definitely not a sport bar Also, you pay a bit of a premium for the location, but consider it the price of admission. Getting to the restaurant was a challenge given all the construction in the area, so plan accordingly. I look forward to coming back - strongly recommend.
It was amazing! The food was great, more like a drinking place than dining. But I enjoyed pretzels and pizzas! The club being right next door was advantage, we flew right there after we ate. Thank you, and I’ll definitely will come back again.
Food was amazing and came out really quick!
I called ahead to order a piece of cake with a candle to be delivered to the table for a birthday. That never happened. We had to awkwardly say we didn't want dessert and then try to sneak away and tell the server to bring a piece of cake for the birthday girl. Should have been more seamless for the costly meal.
For Deaf consumers, please turn the light on more brighter to see our conversation while signing. The waiter misunderstood what we ordered from menu but did not follow our orders. The waiter needed to improve communicate with us via writing back and forth.
Amazing service, great food, nice restaurant with a beautiful view.
The environment was great. Staff was very nice. Our waitress was friendly. Great scenery for pictures. Food was good, as well as drinks. Prices wasn’t to expensive either.
Excellent place with nice Hudson River view........
Aside from the view- we were not impressed. The food was mediocre and the noise level was deafening. I will not return.
Food is good... not great for the prices and portion sizes... on various dishes. Beer selections are awesome... would go back to hang at bar and take in the great views of city.
Food was great and the service was excellent
Food was delicious. Service was good. Views are outstanding. It was just a loud night with a bit of a rowdy bunch at the bar who dropped several glasses.
The location is great. The outdoor seating sits right on the Hudson and provides a great view of NYC. The waitress was also very pleasant. However, the food was not great. This is my second time checking it out and I’ve been disappointed with my selections both times.
Waitress add extra $100 tip herself be aware !!!, other than that beautiful view and ok food..
Love this spot. Another go to
Great lunch sending off our retirees from our office. A lot of fun.
The food was definitely not worth the price filet mignon tasted like paper had no overall taste service was very slow scallops were not fresh but lovely outside views.
Loved the place! Just expect a long wait time for outdoor seating and for food. Honestly was worth the wait but do give yourself 2-3 hours in total.
While I wanted to love this place and put aside my previous experiences, we didn’t. The food was all very subpar outside of the apps and drinks. Service was good but it doesn’t make up for the poor quality of the food at a high price
Bar & Grill with Bar Freights and poor service ! I hope no one needs to experience this like we. Pier 115 was one of our places to go even with a drive. Last Sunday the experience was so bad on very poor service , when we asked to speak to the manager we told he had to deal with the police and the bar freight and cant to us but we not need to pay the bill. I paid my food and drinks we got to the point when we left without eating our incomplete main dish at the reception as i not need o own anything to tis place . As i wrote them on there Website ( no response ) last time they have see us there and I am sure with this kind of overall experience more people stay away, may not an issue in Summer but cold days coming and you need loyal customers to pay the bills.
Everything was very nice
Food and ambiance is excellent. But the service is kinda poor. I just don’t get it coz we went for a happy hour but didn’t get the attention we deserved.
Place was not packed and there were 5 waiters and waitresses when we came in. The hostess gave us a menu and no waitress went to our table for 15 minutes. I called there attention and thank God somebody came to us. She told us that she didn’t know that our table is her area. How strange was that? Manager should have assigned that way before their shift started. Oh well
Loved it! We sat outside and it was perfect. Good for couples or a group. It was an early dinner so it was quiet. I was told on weekends it get more crowded and clubby after 11:00 pm. Overall, great place, FANTASTIC service!
The location is perfect, view is great, music was fun. All the food that should have out hot was cold! No one brought it out when they should have. The drinks were ok but weak.
Great View of NYC ..... Service good ...... Menu diversified ..... not that young but felt younger with age group of the crown .... will be back !
Picturesque location, good wait staff, ample parking.
Pizza was okay, nothing overly special. Bring back the Greek burger!!
The restaurant was extremely crowded and as a result of the extremely hot weather, it was very warm. That certainly was not their fault. The food was mediocre at best as was the service. And in addition, the bathrooms were not clean which can be an indication of what the kitchen is like. Our server was trying and did deduct one of the meals after we complained that it was over cooked. Overall, I would not recommend this spot
I like Pier 115, the food, service and views are great. I went with friends on Sunday for birthday brunch and we were seated on the right side dining room. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable. It is enclosed and only has fans. They should invest in more fans or add an AC. The waiters and bar tenders were sweating and in the winter they freeze. They should have better working conditions.
We both had sandwiches. The rolls were stale and the chicken was dried out. The service also was terrible but I must say, the view is incredible.
Love the new happy hour menu. Prices for happy hour could be a little less. Glad they added a rose and sav blanc to the mix.
The truffle pizza is magical.
I think the seating situation of having to share the end of a table with another party is so strange. To start things off, my server brought me the wrong beer. Secondly, my party ordered the chipotle burger, Logan burger, and Reuben. No complaints about the Reuben. Both burgers however, were over cooked. We both requested medium and it was well done and very dry. Also the chipotle burger had no hint of chipotle flavor. Our server was very friendly, but they were busy in the restaurant so he rarely came back to check on us. Beautiful waterfront, nice vibe, but I was quite disappointed at the quality we got for the price we paid.
Food was excellent as well as the service. I would return again for just that.
Location and view is what drives the pricing up on the menu
Amazing food, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Will return soon
Nice night we had a great table outside with a beautiful view . Had German pretzel for appetizer it was great to share . I had the scallops over orzo which I enjoyed. My friend had the margarita pizza, which was good also. Our drinks were pricey but we enjoyed them . I would def come back ....
I rarely give a place 4 stars but Pier 115 gets it. What puts it over the top is location. You really can’t have much of a better location in NJ right out in the Hudson. Big draw back is that it can be very crowded and many tables have people standing around them while you were eating. The food was very good. We were there for my daughters birthday and she had several friends with her and they all really enjoyed their food. A Sushi dish, a burger, and the Ruben. I also had a burger and my wife had a sushi dish. She felt her Sushi dish was a bit on the small side compared tot he other one on the table but she enjoyed it. My burger was good but not that interesting. The French fries the accompanied the entrees were excellent. We also had the potsticker appetizer and the Burrata cheese salad. The potstickers were excellent but the salad was nothing special. Just a bunch of tomatoes and a ball of cheese. The place is a bit expensive but we all enjoyed the evening and it is definitely a place worth going to.
There is literally no service at all. The food and ambience is ok.
I decided to have my birthday dinner here hoping that it’d be a fun and nice environment to spend my birthday in. The waiter we had seemed nice at first and was giving good service. However, the service seemed to lack more and more throughout the time we were there. The food we ordered definitely did not meet our high expectations that came because of the high prices. My friend ordered the Truffle Mac and Cheese and was excited for it. The result was very lacking though since the taste felt like it was expired. I had expressed that in was my birthday when I made the reservation and when we first came in, so I was expecting a birthday treat like any other restaurant would give on someone’s birthday. However, my friend had to ask the waiter for this birthday treat which had cost $10. It was $10 for a tiny cup dessert that had just been set on our table without any singing or birthday wishes. The environment was so nice but the service and food definitely ruined my experience here. It was definitely not worth the high prices for such low quality food and service.
Thoughtfully presented food
Friendly, efficient service
