Pier 115 Bar and Grill Ratings and Reviews
I absolutely love this place, was perfect for my date night and my boyfriend loved it too as it was a surprise date. The food wasn’t all that great, maybe but I’d rather not judge based on that since I’ve only had one meal. Will definitely be going back.
In this neighborhood there are 3 or 4 good places to get a great hamburger. Pier 115 is one of them but it has so much more going for it. During the day there's the view. It's also the liveliest place. Great wine at good prices. Great side salad. Best french fries. And a whole menu of food in case you don't want a burger. I enjoy going there for lunch or after a movie or after shopping in the area. Or just to grab a bite.
Pier 115 is a great location with views of Manhattan. The food was good and service prompt.
Unfortunately it was very noisy so difficult to have any conversation. Also the restaurant did not note my arrival despite my making it clear that I had a reservation. So I got a note the next day saying I had missed my reservation.
My husband and I went to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary and since we love to try new restaurants around the area, we decided to give it a go. The restaurant itself was beautiful with an incredible view; however, the food was not so good and the service was terrible. I always make reservation through Opentable and when we are dining on a special occasion, I make sure to write what we are celebrating. However, my note was ignored, no special touch to impress the guest. I would go there just for drinks and for the view. That's about it.
Great place for a get together. With the perfect weather you can seat outside and admire the NYC skyline.
The restaurant has great food , the service is always friendly great place overall .. oh before I forget ...have $5 for vallet parking if you want to park close the the restaurant otherwise it could be a small walk from the parking lot.
Food was good and location was great. Very nice sitting outside. What was not great was the unfriendly attitude our waiter had. Just didnt make us feel welcome. Was not friendly. That turns me off so likely would not return. But I would recommend someone try ..
The food was average and over priced. While the scenary my be nice if your not stuck sitting in a far back corner table by the bathroom this place is probably better off for singles looking for dates. I would consider this place a higher end bar. I won't be going back.
Great spot to grab a burger and a drink. We have been here a few times and we enjoy it. Location is prime, servers are nice and the food is good bar food. My only iffy review would be about the host, she was rude, but we only dealt with her for a minute while we walked to my seat so that is not a big deal to me.
Wings were one of the best Ive ever had and my Wife's burger was very good. My pasta dish was small for the price and not good. The parking lot is in very poor shape so drive careful if you have a low vehicle. Valet is $5 charge plus they expect a tip, and the night we went, there were a few guys smoking weed very close to the valet station. While I do enjoy the smell, I didn't think it was very appropriate. View from outside was great and our server was spot on.
We were seated immediately on a Sunday around 7:15 outdoors by the water. Our waiter came over immediately and took our drink orders then our food orders. Everything came out quickly and tasted delicious. The view was amazing from day to night. It was relaxing and not very crowded outside which was very nice. It was mine and my boyfriend's first time there and we can't wait to go back. Dessert was delicious too. I didn't want to leave! It was a 40 minute drive for us, but definitely worth the trip. I would love to go more often.
The hostess shared that open table reservation is not a priority. Even though they had several tables open and we were on time for our reservation she greeted us with.... you only made your reservation 2 hours ago so our system doesn't allow reservations.
We spoke with the manager, he gave us 2 drinks compt. But honestly the food, atmosphere was not great. Steak was requested Med/rare and was well done/burnt.
Our server was amazing, he made it up for the entire experience.
My suggesting if you want to come here us think of it as a wings and beer joint and treated like cattle.
