For reservations, we ask that you arrive promptly and with your complete party so that you may be seated without delay, helping to ensure social distancing per city and state safety mandates. To further ensure safety and adherence, we will now ask guests to aid us by limiting the table times for parties: 1-2ppl to one hour and a half, 3-4ppl to 1 hour and 45 minutes, 5-6ppl to 2 hours. Per new guidance by the City and State, we are only able to accommodate parties of 6 or fewer, you must wear a mask anytime we approach to service you.

Piccolo Sogno does a wonderful job serving during the pandemic. We felt safe but warm and still enjoyed our usual nice experience there!
Tony, the Chef/Owner and all staff always go above and beyond to exceed your expectations. This time was no exception - this was a special birthday occasion and the extra detail was SO appreciated. Thanks, Tony and your gracious staff for being there. My favorite restaurant in the city!!

Piccolo Sogno never fails to deliver. The food, atmosphere and service are unparalleled, even while dealing with strict pandemic regulations. Outdoor dining was cool but comfortable with heat lamps near every table. After sharing a bottle of wine, we were perfect. Still easily the best Italian spot in the city.
Wonderful large back patio, which is sheltered and has plentiful heaters. Tented area that is heated at kept at 72.

Ordered the rigatoni, fettuccine Alfredo mushroom special, and meatballs. Rigatoni was not even al dente, but undercooked; fettuccine had little to no Alfredo sauce and was just olive oil, wilted mushrooms, and noodles; and the meatballs lacked love and flavor. Overall everything was under seasoned and quite disappointing for the cost. I always enjoy this place and the food just came up very short.
Food and service here are always top notch — love the outdoor patio space now that indoor dining is banned again!
Food was great especially the spaghetti Neri (if you love seafood)! I would come here again.

Piccolo is the perfect spot for get-togethers with friends. I’ve been a few times now and there’s always a good crowd but it’s never too loud to where you can’t talk comfortably at your table. The service is also probably the best in Chicago, the wait staff is always so friendly and have excellent recommendations for both food and perfect wine pairings. Always an incredible meal and really terrific value for what you’re getting. My go-to Italian spot, never disappoints!

Wanted to support this incredible place during the Pandemic. Family was gathering for a special occasion and needed to dine outside on a chilly afternoon. They could not have been more accommodating. Outdoor heat lamps were cranked up and the service, food and fine wine were just what we had hoped for.
Celebrated my sis in law’s birthday in their patio. Our experience was great, seated at the back corner however on our way out noticed there was heater closer to other tables that were empty, if we knew there was heater close by would’ve requested to get seated there. We weren’t too cold where we were but it would be nice to know about the option especially we’re with my mother in law.
The food was great, I had pasta neri and my husband had their ribeye which was far better than the one we had at Gibson’s (Rush) —which says a lot since that was a steak place and he got more value for more weight at less the price.
We had the fried calamari and grilled seafood for apps, fried calamari was great but the grilled seafood was a little bitter from charcoal/grill even though it wasn’t overcooked, it tasted off.
Awesome to discover a restaurant with quality intact despite the challenges of staying open in the midst of a COVID 19 crisis. Excellent food, great ambiance, and an attentive staff made our dinner experience wonderful.

It was about 40 degrees on the patio but we were comfortable with all the heaters they had out there.
One of the city's largest and prettiest patios makes for safe pandemic dining.-Great food and service plus a wine list full of affordable, delicious wines to discover make it a treat.
The whole experience [while respecting COVID guidelines] made us feel as if we were personal guests in their home.
It's a rough time for restaurants, and we like to support our favorites, like Piccolo Sogno. We ate under the tent after a big rainstorm, and the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable under the conditions. The food, as always, was spectacular (love those meatballs!), the wine was flowing, and we had a great time. Thanks to everyone there!

I went here for the first time for my boyfriends bday! I had heard really great things and I was not disappointed at all. We had the Pappardelle Con Cinghiale which was really tasty, and the Gorgonzola e uva pizza. They also had a really great hazelnut chocolate cake! I
