For reservations, we ask that you arrive promptly and with your complete party so that you may be seated without delay, helping to ensure social distancing per city and state safety mandates. To further ensure safety and adherence, we will now ask guests to aid us by limiting the table times for parties: 1-2ppl to one hour and a half, 3-4ppl to 1 hour and 45 minutes, 5-6ppl to 2 hours.
We do not reserve tables in our outdoor patio. If you are interested in seating outside you can put in a request on your reservation and we will get you seated as soon as we have a table available.
You are more than welcome to bring a cake. There is a $3 cake cutting fee per person.

Starting December 1st we will change our hours of operation only Monday through Thursday opening at 5pm instead of 4pm until spring. Thank you!

After many excellent meals here, I was surprised that the food was simply awful. Maybe it was because Monday lunch isn't prepared by first-stringers, but dishes we had ordered before were stale/overcooked/dry. There were four of us, and all were disappointed.

Food was very mediocre. Kale salad was good, margherita and mushroom pizzas were good; the pastas were absolutely awful - tasted like frozen pasta that was thawed and sauce was worse than store-bought Ragu. Overpriced as well. Would probably never go here again. Have to commend the service and ambience though , too bad the food was terrible.

An enjoyable evening. Great atmosphere. Overall the food was good except my entree (a splayed chicken cooked on the grill) was overdone. My guests were happy with their choices. This is the second time I have this dish and both times it was over cooked. They should take it off the menu unless it can be reliably executed.

The food and service were great as usual. But when I made the reservation, there was no indication that we would be seated in the outside tented area and not in the dining room. I heard a number of other guest also complain. It is ok to have an outside tented eating area, but I would have liked to have the option to accept or not when making the reservation.

Piccolo Sogno is a long time Chicago Favorite: delicious food, nice atmosphere and large outdoor courtyard for nice weather. A bit expensive, but great for special occasions.

We were seated right next to the kitchen and it was very loud and hard to have a conversation. The ambience was totally off and the food was unfortunately subpar. The wine and dessert were good.

Incredible food. Menu is varied, imaginative, with amazing flavor combinations. I had the squash ravioli in brown butter - superb. We shared the grilled octopus. The marinade and char combined for a great flavor burst. Staff was excellent, and very accommodating. We were 30 minutes late due to traffic and they pulled out all the stops to make sure we had a great table in short order.

Loved this restaurant. Decided to go here on a last minute date night with the wifey and it ended up being very high class and the food was incredible! Amazing olives and the portions were fantastic despite the higher than usual pricing, you get more than you can eat per plate so it makes it worth it. Amazing service as well!

I visited Piccolo Sono in 3 ocasión since 2016, the first couples time, the Food was extraordinary & Outstanding., but Yesterday our experience was all the opposite, in a constructive feedback, the Food, was missing all the authenticity “Italiano”, missing the flavor and the original taste, but the main issue that I ordered the “ Rosticciana “, and supposedly is Braised Beef Short Rib, but what I got was “ Beef Pot Roast”, and that made me very disappointed, After spending $275.00 for 2 people and after we made a reservation for next weekend, we are thinking to cancel it. I hope that Piccolo Sono Managment can contact me to explain in Culinary details, We are not seeking any reimbursement

Excellent service and food- celebrating a friend’s bday, The service was on point, busy Saturday night and the hustle and bustle zipped past our table- We were sitting in a spot that was at the walk way- felt too busy and noisy but the food and servers made up for it. Can’t wait to Rerun!
