One of my go to places when I celebrate a special occasion or are in trouble with the wife. ; ) Food is excellent as always.
Date night with the wife
Confused staff except the lady in the dining room. I also think $15 a drink is to much. Mistakes from kitchen etc.. surprised as we used to really like going there. Hopefully just an off night
Always a favorite, but a little disappointing this time. We were seated in a table by the front window by the bar. Service was VERY slow... after each course we had to wait a long time for the waiter to come back. Our guests kept commenting that they thought the waiter forgot about us because we weren't in the main dining room. We'll be sure to only sit in the main dining areas in the future. Otherwise, everything was superb as always.
As always Jason and his staff are exceptional. There is no place I rather be on a Friday or Saturday night. They are always so accommodating and nice . The food and drinks are fabulous! This is an outstanding restaurant u will not be disappointed! Also the ambiance is very cozy! We love it!
Great Mother’s Day Lunch. All of our dishes were delicious. Wonderful experience.
It was an OK restaurant. Nothing to go out of our way for.Nothing on the menu to gbab you and think WOW this is good! Should have something memorable on menu to remember and think "I,m coming back to this place". Especially since we have to drive at least a half an hour to get there. Now we get to the price---WAS NOT WORTH IT! Prices way to high for what you get. TONY C.
Wonderful!! As always!!
My birthday and can’t think of a better place.
The food here is always a cut above the rest and with Huntington Village a half a mile away, that speaks volumes!
Our regular place, always good food, good service, friendly staff. Never disappointed.
To celebrate our Anniversary, we went to our favorite restaurant. Piccolo is a Manhattan quality restaurant located in Huntington. They treat you like family. We were seated immediately by the manager. It has a quiet distinguished atmosphere. Two waiters served us. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I like that they don’t rush you and don’t ignore you either. Too often I find the wait staff hound you to place your order, bother you while eating than disappear. Here they could not be more accommodating and courteous. We both had the Red Snapper special over Risotto. My wife had finished the Risotto but not the fish. When the waiter packed it up to go, he gave her more Risotto. The manager greeted us an arrival and thanked us for coming. This was truly a great Anniversary meal.
Furthermore, this was our favorite restaurant to take my aged mother. It is ground level without any steps, Very comfortable and the wait staff always catered to her. Needless to say we love this place.
They seated us at our reservation time, no waiting around. Service was friendly and prompt. Food was plentiful and delicious! All around a good experience!
Everything was just perfect! And the cheesecake was the best ever. Staff is just delightful, as well.
Goto Italian in Huntington!
This is my fifth time at Piccolo and have never been disappointed. The service is very good, but not rushed. Portions are generally large. I have had several selections from their menu and have always been impressed with the quality.
If you like a great Italian restaurant to go to in Huntington Piccolo will be your top choice.
It was amazing.
Amazing from start to finish. Thanks Jay for making the evening memorable
We used to dine at Piccolo often when we lived in Lloyd Harbor many years ago, so we were looking forward to visiting again while we were in the area.
All the personnel were rushing around as if there were an emergency somewhere so it was far from a relaxed environment conducive to pleasant dining.
I spoke to a woman who seemed to be in charge and she replied: Well, it’s Saturday night. No excuse, in my mind.
We will not be dining there again, nor recommending it to others. Such a shame. It once was a pleasant spot!
The food was excellent like it always is.
Piccolo is one of the few restaurants in Huntington that, despite its popularity, remains top notch and never fails to surpass my expectations.
Holiday! Really was perfect in every way!
Disappointed. Asked for a quiet table and was placed near the entrance to kitchen and bathrooms.
Felt rushed by staff and food was marginal. The special tuna (supposedly sushi grade) needed a knife to cut it. Too much soy sauce that ruined the taste of the tuna (unless that was the point.
This used to be our “go to” restaurant. Now it is just loud and there is no familiarity for those of us who have been coming to this establishment for over 9 years. :(
Always great seeing Dean
Always exceptional food & service!!
Excellent food and service
I've been going to Piccolo's for about 25 years now, yes 25 years. It has been a place where my friends and I relax and enjoy each other's company and great food. The staff has, in many cases, been there for years, they know their customers and always make newcomers feel welcome and appreciated.
Always a great experience. Great food, top notch service and will return again and again.
Piccolo never disappoints. The menu has what you'd expect from an Italian restaurant, with a nice variety of additional dishes with flair. I highly recommend the white truffle ravioli - simply delicious! We always seem to have George as our waiter when we go, and it's always a treat - he makes reading the specials and taking our order into a an event, and he knows his stuff. This place is always busy so book ahead, but that's only because it's so darned reliably good!
Piccolo will never disappoint great food exceptional staff.
Our first experience at Piccolo Restaurant of Huntington on a Friday evening. The food was subperb; however, we felt like we were eating at a marathon. Our appetizers, both hot and cold were brough simultaneously. When we questioned the waiter, his response was "really, they brought both together. Our salad was missing tomatoes, that were specifcally requested. As the evening progressed, it got crowded and noisy. The tables for 2 were on top of each other. Shortly after our appetizers ( the ceasar salad was dry but the crab cake was amazing and highly recommended), dinner arrived. Again, wer were barely able to catch our breathes and my wife did not want me to "make a scene" and request the food go back into the kitchen. The main courses were excellent, My wife had the twin lobster tails and I had the veal dish. We skipped desert and left some wine in our bottle. Again, good food, but we felt rushed and once I questioned waiter on the apps, we only saw him to secure the check..
This is the best Italian restaurant on Long Island. The food and service are top notch. The tiny lamb chops were exceptional. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the entire experience. Go.
This place is wonderful the service is of the high east quality as well as the food.
Always delicious. Consistently great!
Food, Service is Always Excellent, Thank you!
I’ve been enjoying Piccolo’s for 3 decades. It perfect for special occasions or just a mid week dinner for 2. Piccolo’s is best in class on Long Island and blows away any Manhattan venue with service, value, quality, and consistency.
Piccolo is a terrific spot. Food is top notch. They have creative specials, love the eggplant meatballs. Service is fantastic. Sometimes we eat the bar and the bartender is wonderful as well.
one of our all time favorites
Great night at Piccolo. Good food, service and atmosphere. As always Dean is gracious and welcoming. Wonderful spot!
