Piccolo Paradiso Ratings and Reviews
Piccolo Paradiso is an exception from the the other good Italian restaurants in Beverly Hills. It is not good, it is excellent! It has some unique and exceptionally dishes, (such as the delicious baked artichoke), on the menu that you simply cannot find in any of the other restaurants Don't go there for gimmicky food, go there for really good food and the most accommodating service. General Manager Fabrizio's motto is: "the answer to all customer requests is : 'yes!' that includes modifying any of the standard dishes to meet the customer requirements, including for those who prefer a vegan version".
We always enjoy this neighborhood gem. We took our two kids here for dinner and they loved the pasta and dessert. Service was efficient. Food was delicious as always. Seasonal decor lent a festive air to the evening. So glad to have this place nearby! Try the pasta with sausage and truffles and the decent cacio e pepe.
Lovely evening. Reservation time honored immediately. Server had fun personality and gave good suggestions. Between the three of us we had fried calamari, paridiso salad, branzino, lasagna, pesto pasta and gelato desserts. All were delicious and well worth the value. We go often and will continue to do so.
Nice neighborhood restaurant, but without the Beverly Hills crazy prices or attitude. It's just good Italian food in a small, local place with good service, simple but elegant decor, and plenty of satisfying choices. I just feel comfortable here. I usually have one of their daily specials to start the meal and then go to my favorite dish -- Fusilli Verdi con Cavolfiori (spinach fusilli, cauliflower, raisins, pine nuts, pecorino cheese) -- and end with the flowerless chocolate cake (really, really good). The parking is easy and the ambiance is relaxed. It makes for a very nice evening.
It was full due to the quality food and service, no doubt. Had a reservation and they graciously seated us outside under the heaters (cool night) since it was noisy inside and very warm. The salmon was outstanding and the Wente Pinot Noir delicious. Service was five star. Bellisimo.
The quality of the food was very good. Best lamb chops we've had in a very long time. My only complaint is that when I made the reservation, I stated this was a birthday celebration, and neither the host nor the server ever acknowledged this or did anything special. That was very disappointing.
We almost always go to Italian restaurants when we eat out. The food and service at Paradisio is much better than many restaurants in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood that are more frequented. Those people do not know what they are missing! This is superior to most of those restaurants. You will not be disappointed.
This is a very good restaurant, serving well-prepared Italian food at attractive prices. However, in one regard Piccolo Paradiso stands out: its pasta. While clearly Italian cuisine is more than just noodles, this restaurant's pasta dishes are simply superb. Make sure you include at least one in your ordering.
The restaurant AC was not working and it was very hot and humid inside the restaurant. My guests and I were very unhappy. Although the food and service were good, we just could not enjoy it. Worst of all, the staff and management did not even bother to apologize or make up for the inconvenience.
If we decide to go back, we will call first to make sure that their climate control system is working!
The Drago family restaurants are always dependable for authentic cuisine, prepared with fine ingredients and culinary skill. The parpadelle with cinghiale is heavenly. Reasonable prices for this quality and reasonable wine prices. There is a difference between a rack of veal and a veal chop. I ordered the rack of veal, expecting a rack of little chops, but was served a large veal chop. It was very good, but the menu needs a correction. Service is attentive enough, but a few times the waiter was not there when needed. Very nice staff.
