Whether you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine, planning a special affair, or need a great location for business luncheon, Piccolo Fiore Italian Restaurant in Midtown Manhattan NYC is the perfect choice.
Good food however the pizza could be better. Overall ok.
We've been to this restaurant several times in the past 3 years, as it always had exceptional food and service. We'll, the service is still quite good, but it seems the menu has been reduced substantially. In addition, while the food ( in this case, chicken parm) was okay, it wasn't at the level of the past. It didn't give us a reason to want to go back anymore.
Great Italian comfort food and friendly staff especially Johnny and Christina
Very disappointed. This restaurant looks very nice but the food falls way short of expectations.
Excellent service, wonderful food an overall great experience!
Excellent food and service
This was my third visit and will be my last. The service was rushed and rude. The greenbeans looked like they were from a can and the mozzarella tasted off. This is what happens when you go out to eat on a Monday night.
The ambience is what made me a repeat customer but its not enough. The tables are space nicely and you can have conversation with others at your table without screaming.
If I didnt know better, I would think they are going through management change..
Food was horrible, one of the worst Italian restaurants in midtown. Went for lunch at 12:30 pm and no one else was in the restaurant, this should have been a sign. Will never go there again!
Reunion with long time friends from points far and wide. Service excellent. Food varied and prepared beautifully. Wine list and dessert choices yum.
I was a bit disappointed in Piccolo Fiore. The mozzarella appetizer was served with very underripe tomatoes. The chicken parm enter may have been a frozen chicken patty. My friends had the veal and really liked it. It wasn't very crowded so that made me wonder about the reputation. Given there are so many fantastic Italian alternatives in that neighborhood, I'd take a pass.
Food delicious, portions somewhat small for high prices. Service was lovely!
Server was professional and friendly. Food was excellent and varied. Ate in a small upper level perfect for conversation
A fine into that Italian restaurant with good food
I have been here before. The service was great. The appetizers were great. The main course find not live up to expectations. My Pasta was cold. Friends steak disappointed her. Veal Marsala was good. Desserts were fine. Probably will let it rest awhile before I go back
Food was very good, but for some strange reason that night, we were the only diners except for one other table.
We had the most wonderful dinner--the owner made us feel like we were family, dining in his home. He made wonderful suggestions for us to try and everything was delicious! We plan to return every time we can make it to NYC
Very friendly, professional, and the food was fantastic. I had seafood linguini and my wife had gnocchi with spinach and pistachios. We recommend it !
Great gnocchi and lobster ravioli! Excellent service.
This is the 2nd time I've been to this restaurant and the food has been consistently good. Although not crowded, we had to hunt down our waiter a couple of times. That's the only negative I have. Friendly staff and good food, overall.
Delicious fresh food
Food is always good, prices are on the high side, service is an odd combination of neglectful and rushed.
This is a hidden gem! The food was fabulous. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The four of us had really good meals.
Many items were unavailable at 8p dinner reservations on a Saturday night, both entrees and desserts.
Un lugar bastante común y corriente. Nada especial. Ni la decoración, ni el ambiente ni la comida.
Great service, great food. One of my favorites for lunch or dinner
Food was poor and chicken tough.
Excellent food and service for a business meal. It was quiet and easy to conduct a conversation.
Quiet place to talk. The service is quite good and helpful.
Always a pleasure to dine at Piccolo Fiore whether it be for lunch or dinner. One of our party is vegetarian and she raved about the pizza marinara. Eggplant parmigiana was thinly sliced with an excellent tomato sauce. Everything we had was excellent. Prices are reasonable as well.
After reading reviews for this restaurant, I was disappointed. I came with three other people. The three of them ordered pasta dishes which were OK but not great. I ordered the special fish of the day. It was on the borderline of disgusting. . It was supposed to be stuffed filet of sole with shrimp with an interesting tomato sauce on top. The fish was very thick and not well cooked and there was one piece of practically raw shrimp inside.
This is a quiet restaurant at lunch that has a reasonable prix fixe, which includes fresh fish.
First time here. Lovely small restaurant with a short but diverse menu and excellent specials. Wine list was modest but had several good selections.
A very enjoyable experience for what is considered a local (not touristy) restaurant. Very creative menu. The wines by glass - Classico Chianti and Montepulciano were outstanding! If you’re staying at the Hyatt it’s a 5 minute walk.
Food was over cooked and without taste; lacked creativity. Wait staff was attentive. Overall a disappointment and will not be going back.
Food was disappointing and I had made a reservation well in advance (weeks) for an important business lunch with very senior officials, and the main dining room was not available and we were seated in a poor location. Will go to Gente next time.
Service was top notch. Food was spectacular, we had the 4 course prix fixe, chefs choice. We were not disappointed with any dish that we were brought. And their take on tiramisu was amazing! They weren't trying to perfect it, they made it their own.
Was an outstanding meal for a milestone birthday, quiet with live music on piano. Great service and delicious food!
Restaurant had just opened for the day, very quiet, ordered drinks & dinner- Our pasta choices - fettuccini & gnocchi were both disappointing
We won't be revisiting
The service was good, but the food was awful. It looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for days.
We were very early arrivals, consequently there were few others there dining. We were able to chat leisurely to our hearts' content and were not at all rushed by our server. The food came out beautifully presented, at the same time for both of us, and was hot & delicious. Couldn't have asked for more. I'd go back there and would recommend the place to my friends who love delicious Italian food.
