We sat in an outdoor vestibule going into an office building. Very mediocre. Not what we were expecting.
Horrible experience. Will never return. We sat outside and there were tons of flies. When we advised we were going to split just a salad our waiter rolled his eyes at us and walked away. Advised we needed to order our entire meal at that moment as they had a big party coming in. Which btw was a table of 8. I tipped well because I felt bad that we were only sharing a salad & going to go somewhere else but I completely regret it now. They are extremely rude & spoke to us like we were children. We are 34 years old & should be spoken to in a difference manner.. The salad we received wasn't even tasty and wasn't described correctly on the menu. Would never approve this restaurant. My family is in the industry and i would never recommend this place and I always support local business.
The food had no tadte
I never give a bad review for any reason but this was the worst experience ever. I waited over 90 minutes after ordering and never even got my appetizers. No main course either. I asked many times what was going on. Server said, kitchen needs more help and he told the owners. Then he said the food is coming. 30 minutes more and still no food. When I finally complained to the owners they said my ticket was lost and they could make me fried calamari and then send the main course. I explained that I wanted all my appetizers and they said that would take a long time. They begged me not to leave. I did not wish to wait any longer as how good could the food be if they had to rush it out. I am not sure how long the food would even had taken to arrive at that point.
Imagine being seated, waiting around 20 minutes for them to take your order then waiting another 90 minutes without any food. Even if the food was wonderful is the wait worth it. I doubt the food would have been anything other than average.
They are on a busy restaurant street in Ridgewood so they will always get enough business. But, I encourage everyone to go with caution. Maybe, I was too patient and it was a bad night for them. Either way, I will never go there again. There are many other restaurants with very good food and much better service in the area !!!

Over priced period…..$39 for pasta salmon special….come on!!!!
The eggplant rollatini special was fantastic. The octopus dish was small with only three pieces of octopus. I don’t know if I would dine there again because the food was expensive for what was served. Some dishes were plentiful and others were scarce depending on what you ordered.

This is our go-to italian restaurant! We love to sit outside with the string lights. The food is ALWAYS amazing, we’ve never had a bad meal. The servers are excellent and so friendly.
We got lucky because Ridgewood had their streets closed and dining in the streets with live music. We had such a wonderful night. Our waiter was knowledgeable and attentive and the food was excellent! We will definitely be back!
This is one of our favorite go-to places... wonderful outside patio and cute inside, sweet owners, very good food. We hadn't been there in almost a year with Covid and came back last night and it was like home again. Wonderful.

Have to say, not thrilled with this place. Restaurant looked run down and messy. Decor was outdated and hodgepodge. That’s all forgivable if not for the below average food. Eggplant tower special was inedible. Eggplant was cut incredibly thick and undercooked. Snapper special was fishy. Veal chop has no flavor. Ridgewood is a competitive restaurant market and this place needs to up its game. The bill was not cheap PLUS they UPCHARGE for using a credit card. Not cool. Server was excellent though. Hate giving poor reviews but the restaurant needs to know.

We, as always, enjoyed a fabulous night out with our children visiting from another state. The meal was delicious. We feel like the owners are so friendly and will be sure to return soon.
It’s always a great meal no matter what you get. The servers were very attentive and accommodating! No rushing us at all ! That’s our go to place!
When I walked in for lunch, they almost seemed surprised to be getting customers. And the sole waiter was quickly overwhelmed, as several other tables arrived. The website does not give you notice that this is a BYOB restaurant. It didn't matter. But that's something I would not want to be surprised about, sitting down for dinner. This was a case in which I'll remember the experience more than the food.
I intentionally left a tip in cash and did not tip on my credit card only to discover lather that a tip was also added to my credit card. Not good
What an abysmal dining experience and at that price point, shameful! We knew something was not right when our entrees came out in less than ten minutes after placing our order. Clearly, they were pre prepared and then warmed. My husband had the special snapper dish and it was dry and not at all appealing. I had the veal saltimbocca, which was clearly reheated, dry and not appetizing at all. We also overheard another patron, who was having the salmon, let the waiter know that it was dry. With the number of restaurants available in the area, it is shameful. And, our two entrees came to $91, plus, without any notice, the check came back with a 2.7% credit card surcharge. We are big supporters of local, consistently have tipped highly during lockdown but will not be dining at this establishment again. And I will let colleagues and friends know the same. And, my husband is not feeling well today on top of it all.

Casual and delicious dinner. Everything was excellent.
Beyond the great food and lively atmosphere, the service was top notch. When I asked for a change to a menu item, the kitchen provided exactly what I wanted. We love it here.

Everything was great but not telling you there is a fee if you are using a credit card is just wrong. I spent almost $400 for six people on Mother's Day and to get that extra hit on the bill to me is just wrong. All they are doing is hurting the servers. Just increase the cost bit to compensate for the credit card fee!! This might be the reason we don't go back and me & my wife go out to eat a lot. So was it worth losing as a client and a referral customer. Just sayin!!!!

Overall mediocre, would not go back. The staff was nice, but the food was very bland and overpriced for the quality. The burrata salad had barely any burrata, and the tomatoes didn’t taste fresh. I ordered the linguini with clams which was very flavorless. Afterwards, it gave me an upset stomach.
There were a group of girls at the table next to us that were laughing and screaming the entire time, so I could barely hear the other people in my party.
There was a staff member sitting down near the front of the restaurant who his mask under his nose the entire time. This made me very uncomfortable.

We have eaten here before and been pleased. However last night was a disaster. It took us over two hours to receive our entrée. In fact it took more than 30 minutes to receive bread and even then it was frozen on the inside.And although I understand there were several large parties considering everyone had to make a reservation that should not have come as a surprise. When I inquired about how long it was taking to receive our entrees the waiter offered no apologies and merely made the excuse that they were many diners in the restaurant. We will not be returning.
Service was great. Had the chicken Francese which was flavorless though the potatoes were good.
Food was delicious. Everyone was so nice. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy.
They didn’t honor the reservation. They ended up seating people who didn’t have a reservation earlier, which then backed everything up. I was willing to wait a reasonable amount of time, but the manager was rude about the whole experience. Will never go back.
